Reviews of Dajie Makan Place @ Clementi | Halal Chicken Rice, Mala Hotpot & Yong Tau Foo
Me and my friend tried Mala level 2 and the Hakka Yong Tau Foo. It was amazing!! Love the clean and neat packing of the ingredients and most of the food in the fridge drawer was well maintained as well! The staff were all friendly too! I decided on what to eat thanks to other patrons who were happy to share what's good there! Definitely will come back to try others!
Took abt 5 items (noodle, seaweed, beancurd skin, veg, mushroom) and several pieces of lotus root and two slices of potato. Had it in laska and with a drink $8.20.
Went to had lunch with my friends on a friday and it was busy, but the the staff was very accomodating and ensured we had seats. made us felt very welcomed and ensured we had our food and seats. thank you to that philipino lady staff , very thoughtful
The only place at Clementi where I can enjoy my Hakka yong tau fu! Happy for my Muslim friends as they are halal! I loved the sauce! Good selection of ingredients beyond the usually ingredients as they also sell Mala. Service was good too. I will come back again for the Laska stock.
Affordable (80 cents per item) and delicious YTF. The laksa and mala hotpot are a must try! Quite a small shop, avoid lunch hour and go during late afternoon or early evening. Worth the calories.
Best halal mala, a lot of delicious veriety of ingredients. Repeat customer, they never disappoint. Workers are friendly and good service.
The staff was so cute and help us get free drinks from signing up for membership! The ice milo was bombz and the mala was great!🧚♀️
To be honest, I’ve tried a few halal mala, NGL… this is one of the best mala I’ve eaten. Service is good, food came up quickly.. mala is yummy. I took spice level 1, it’s quite spicy 😂 but it’s nice
Love the mala! Tasty, not too oily and affordable, served with a nice bean soup. Pictured is about $22, filling and just nice for 2 pax. Service is quick and staff are friendly too, it's always nice coming down here to eat. I recommend :)
Our go to lunch place away from any crowd. Sheltered well and there's always seats. Food is delish. Definitely a must to eat here
I'm always coming back here. The food is really good and the service here is awesome.
Pretty good halal mala place! Thought I was a little sad that they ran out of Chinese cabbage.
This place serves really good yong tau foo as well as other dishes like nasi goreng and kwey teow hongkong. Their portions are huge and definitely satisfying. The people working there are also really friendly - recommend! 👍🏻
Superb food! One of the few halal mala stores in singapore damn sedap 👏🏻👏🏻👌 atmosphere Is environment is good 👍 very convenient to go to delicious 🤤 and everything definitely recommend this secret food jem to people in singapore, also tried the outlet in yishun environment is great, food is damn delicious and everyt 👍👍 5/5 stars for me 🦾🦾🦾
Simply luv the Tom Yam soup! Can get crowded after 1230pm. If no seats, then eat Chicken Rice next door at Evertop!
Cecilia is helpful all the time thank you.
The best HALAL mala, 0.5 is good for moderate takers!
Really nice food! One of the best Yong tau fu ever!
Sedap! Come for the chicken rice and then have their dry mala as desserts! You'd be a happier person at the end of the meal.
We love mala so much
Delicious food but dining areas are small and cramped.
My family has always enjoyed our meal here. Food is good and people are friendly. Most of all, can add spiciness upto our level (level 4), normal 1-3.
Have been a regular here and attended by the usual staff Ms Cecilia, who provides excellent and fast service. The staff there is friendly as well! Always a pleasant dining experience here at Dajie Clementi. Show them some support!
Had lunch at Dajie Clementi
1) Chicken Rice- had both the steam and roasted chicken, well steamed chicken is tender and soft whilst the roasted one well seasoned and crispy roasted. The rice is fabulous with nice aroma whilst the soup was not salty which no seasoning and goes well with the chicken rice.
2) Ampang and Hakka Yong Tau Foo - both very good and I like the crispness after deep fried. Both the Ampang and Hakka sauces were good and blended well with the Yong Tau Foo.
I will be backed again soon.
Best Mala in town, spicy and delicious!!
Was served by great staff providing helpful & friendly service.
Sure to return and dine soon again.
Amazing service and the food is just so tasty and good. I always comeback even tho I live in Telok Blangah! Such a wonderful place to eat
Tried the mala hotpot. Level 2 spiciness, flavor is good.
However not much variety to select to bowl. $20 for 2, i guess it a usually price you could get at other mala places with air-conditioning. Service is good, wasnt so crowded at 6pm on Wednesday.
A halal mini restaurant which sells niang Tofu and roast chicken rice meal and other menus as well. Pricing is of above average to my standard. Can see crowding during lunch time but still able to find seats 👍
Mala hot pot is so spicy come with level 1 min to 3 max. I can't finish my level 1 spicy dish because I not used to eat spices at all. Dine in, take away and delivery are available.
Went during off peak hours. Smooth ordering process. Cashless payment available. Nice simple place. Thank you team.
OUR FAVOURITE!! Mala Level 2 is good enough thou!
Price is a little more than neighbourhood mala stores. But No regrets cox items are fresh n tasty.
It's been long time since I last when to Dajie at bukit batok..To my surprised I ordered chicken rice at Clementi, the chicken rice chilli was very delicious .Wow I'm coming again with my family this time round!
Wide variety to select. Vege, meat, fish, prawn, chicken, tofu, hotdogs, crabstick and many more. For ppl who dun like yong tau foo, there is very nice nasi ayam.... This is gonna my family's next favorite haunt...
This is a halal restaurant that sells both chinese style and malay style food. Tried the Laksa Yong Tau Fu and it was not bad. Able to pay by Netspay QR code. However I think their process was a mess. The ingredients I order were not given to me, instead it end up on my friend's plate. My friend had the same issue too. It was still okay since we are on the same table, imagine if it was delivered to another person you do not know. It would just mean you wasted your money.
Best halal mala in Singapore, have been coming here for years and bringing friends here. Love the service here too
Try the Mala Hotpot. I am sure you'll get numb by its spiciness.
Great delicious food. Especially love the mala :)
Great place to get halal mala. They have a wide variety of selection to choose from.
The Mala very power & the steam chicken very nice. All the food POWER
Quite crowded during lunch hour. But still, prices are affordable and expected for a yong tau fu stall. Not much variety though

Very nice place w cheap food :)
Many different type of food! And their mala is good!
Good food but servive requires some improvements - looked very shorthanded when I visited. 1st time had to wait 1 hour for my food - some system need to be implemented.
Soo nice...love yo eat halka kway teow here when I'm feeling down
Have so much topping for mala/yong tou foo
