Yummy yummy food and excellent service. Just need to come earlier if wanna avoid the queue. This place will be perfect if there's baby highchair available. Definitely will come back again.

Recommended by a friend, when I walked in, I can see a really cosy nice restaurant. The service is friendly, I like the orders taken by the waitress with menu full of pictures, different from the current phone ordering system which is really a pain that you do not know what you are ordering. The food was served quick too. Love the thick cut sashimi and fresh oyster.

Food was lovely. I always come here for the Gindara cod fish 鳕鱼 as my comfort food. They always do discounts on their menu. Tried the Chutoro don and chirashi don as well. Both are also nice. Came here on a weekday night and there was no queue, can get seats immediately.

Small Restaurant with limited tables/Seats. Tasty food and service were good. Sashimi cut was generous. Love their Truffle Oil French Fry which was crisp. Pls Note they do not have ketchup sauce to go along with fries but they have mayonnaise instead. requested for 2nd serving of Mayonnaise for my kids. My Kids finish up all the tasty Ramen. Recommended if there’s no Queue.

First time here and have a great experience! How fresh and delicious food! The food portion is quite big. Each dinner is given a 40 mins to eat. But it is enough for you enjoying the food. Will come back again.

Very good food and very attentive staff. The staff even gave us a complementary appetizers when she noticed that our main meals had not arrived yet. The staff also gave us an extra sauce with an egg inside when my grandmother mentioned that she wanted more sauce. The sashimi and rice is tasty and the soy sauce is of good quality. A bit on the pricer end but worth the experience!

Ordered a mix seafood don. The food was good, especially the seafood on the don were super fresh. Staff are friendly as well so I'll definitely come back again.

Excellent sushi and normal prices. Quantity is decent as well. 5 star from other reviews are overblown as staff would encourage you to give 5 star on the spot. Most unfortunate thing is I think the soya sauce is bad as it's the thick sweet kind. Bring your own soya instead.

A small shop in PLQ. There was a variety of donburi (rice bowl dish) as the name suggests. Also had sashimi and other side dishes. Sometimes they had other promotions or seasonal items available. Tried the chirashi don, tonkatsu don, salmon ikura don, etc. Pictures on the menu definitely looked better. Having said that, the portions were quite generous. Delicious too! Since the shop was small, it was usually packed. Best to not hoard the seats and leave after finish eating. There was a 10% discount when we visited. Staff was friendly too.

Ordered ramen, sashimi, salad and yakiniku donburi. The salmon sashimi came in thick fresh slices. The salad had a tangy yuzu dressing. The donburi was pretty yummy. The ramen broth however was really quite salty. I wish it was less salty so I could enjoy the broth better. Service is also pretty decent. I was wondering if the high rating for this place was really warranted. I would say "maybe" as I did see posters offering a free side dish if you gave them a 5 star review on Google. So maybe take the reviews with a grain of salt and really read the details. Overall, I would come here again but order a rice dish instead of a ramen dish.

I love salmon don. Rice here is not just white Japanese rice, but furikake rice, something different from other restaurants. Generous slices of fresh salmon. Soy sauce is a 100 year old boutique soy sauce in Japan. Very highly recommended.

Casual Donburi restaurant serves food blazingly fast! I ordered the Basic Unagi Don and I can tell you it's anything but basic! It's really really good Unagi for the price. I highly recommend giving it a try. You won't regret it.

We did not finish the rice because it was extremely sour. One of the older staff came to comment that we should have ordered less rice. When the staff did not inform us of the rice options when taking our orders. When we were done with the meal, the older staff was quite haste to “chase” us out of the store even though there were still plenty of seats.

Donburi King located in the PLQ mall, which is super convenient, the place is relatively small with less than 20 seating, so be early if you want to give it a try. Prices are at the higher end, but I do think its worth it . The portion of otoro as well as the sword fish are very generous (I think they have more than 10 pieces of fish for each bowl of don). Frankly speaking, the otoro is not the top quality ones, it didnt give me the melt in the mouth taste, but tasted more like chutoro, but the sword fish belly were spot-on, slightly seared with flames, brought out so much exciting flavors! Overall, definitely a place that I would revisit! Donburi King is located in PLQ Mall, the location is super convenient. The store is relatively small, with less than 20 seats, so if you want to try it, come early. The price is a little higher here, but I think it's worth it. The portions of the large toro rice and swordfish belly were very generous (I think each bowl of rice was about a dozen slices of sashimi). But frankly speaking, the big toluo here is not the best quality. It does not have the feeling of melting in the mouth. It tastes more like a medium toluo. The swordfish belly is unforgettable. The aroma of fish oil is brought out after moxibustion, which is so unforgettable. The smell of excitement! Overall, this is definitely a store I will come back to!

Food was great and service was friendly. Had the Swordfish with negitoro don and enjoyed it. Swordfish belly had a nice slight aburi sear for that fatty slight melt-in-the-mouth feeling. Negitoro was fatty as well and had a bit of that smokiness from the sear as well. All this was topped off with some ebiko which added a playful crunch/texture to round up the dish. Overall, an enjoyable experience and would come back again

Chirashi Don - very tall, quite filling, and can actually taste the freshness. Special mention to the octopus though, it's the "crispy" kind, not the bite-and-bite-but-cannot-chew-through kind, first time i actually like octopus sashimi in a don Overall good ambience, great food, and excellent + friendly service from the staff at Donburi King NEX
