Reviews of Fong Sheng Hao 豐盛號 Sengkang Grand Mall
Bacon egg cheese toast is nice. But have to finish while warm.
Im a slow eater, finish half, then the other half the bread becomes hard and chewy.
Rice bowl : topping is good, the rice cannot make it. The sauerkraut is fresh tho.
Other than canned drinks, can skip their drink at all . Tasteless ..
Unfortunately it’s quite crowded so we’ve been lead to a seating space under “ a big tree” which is packed and narrow, and warm.
After a satisfying dinner at the kopitiam corner across from Sengkang Grand Mall, Kitty and I decided to explore the mall for a good drink. We stumbled upon Fong Sheng Hao, a charming little establishment highlighting Taiwanese delights. It was a bit tricky to find, tucked away in a corner we hadn't explored yet, but the cozy ambience inside made it worth the search.
The Taiwanese style décor created a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. We tried the red milk tea, their signature drink, and the Taiwan special pork patty sandwich. Kitty absolutely loved the sandwich, praising its deliciousness, and also enjoyed the tea. I found the red milk tea just right - refreshing and not overly sweet.
The service was excellent, and we were pleasantly surprised when they allowed us to park our bicycles inside the store. While Sengkang Grand Mall doesn't usually allow bicycles inside stores, Fong Sheng Hao's hospitality made us feel very welcome. We were a little disappointed that we couldn't try the ice cream store next door, though, as it was too small to accommodate our bikes.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience at Fong Sheng Hao. The food was delicious, the atmosphere delightful, and the service outstanding. We're giving it a 5-star rating based on the drinks, food, ambiance, and service we experienced. Highly recommend it!
红茶奶茶damn good! Toast is also above average. Love the sauce. Quality comparable to what I had in Taiwan. Price is on the steeper end though.
Recommended to eat dine in for the scallion pancakes.
The food was pretty average considering the price. We had braised pork rice, fried noodles, and toast. They weren't bad, just not great. There's a nice decor and a comfy atmosphere in the restaurant.
Food was average, however the customer service was excellent! A family with a kid at the next table’s rice got flipped over on the floor by the kid. The service staff was fast to response ,help clear up and even offered a complimentary replacement of the rice bowl. I’ve not seen such efficient and good customer service very often in Singapore.
First time trying the food here. Overall, food was good but pricey. Luckily, can use the Fave eCards ($42 for $50). The tomato egg and cheese sandwich is very tasty. Love the fragrant buttery taste. The braised pork rice was also tasty and my kids love it. Tried the Fong Sheng Hot Wok noodles and it was good too. The soup is tasty but find the portion for the noodles (yi mian) is little. The milk tea was good too (can get $1 off with every sandwich ordered).
Rice & noodles only available after a certain timing, not in the morning. The milk tea is good, very flavourful. Love it! The kopi too, GAO enough ;) food wise was ok, good place for breakfast. $18+ for the orders.
Tried lu rou fan the other time, was okok. Overall, not bad.
The pork is tender, pickle vege is slightly sweet and harder to chew. Overall is acceptable. Everything self service.
Great service! Crew was courteous, diligent and polite. We ordered carrot cake and red tea with cane sugar. Food was tasty. Tea was well brewed. Will come back to try other dishes. Thank you for the hospitality.
Easy to get table for a big group on a Sunday lunch. Food is good (not saying great).
Great place for Taiwanese food, it reminds me of my Taiwan trip. Price is slightly higher, but the braised pork rice has generous portion. The bubble tea is sweet, cost $5.40 without bubble.
I recently dined at this restaurant and while the food was average, I wouldn't mind coming back for it. However, I feel the need to address the hygiene concerns that I observed during my visit. The overall environment of the restaurant appeared nice, but there were a significant number of flies flying around. This was particularly noticeable around the beverage area where I spotted flies near the sugar and powder containers. Additionally, the utensils provided were dirty with visible food residue on them.
I believe it is crucial for the restaurant to prioritize cleanliness and improve their hygiene practices. It is not only unappealing to see flies in a dining establishment, but it also raises concerns about the overall sanitation and safety of the food being served. I kindly request the management to address these issues promptly and ensure that proper measures are taken to maintain a higher standard of cleanliness.
Self service taiwan cafe like outlet.
Pretty average coffee and definitely not impressed by how the staff's preparation. Food wise, expensive based on the portion and quality. Taste is ok.
Staff service feels a bit lackluster.
Hearty and satisfying breakfast. Generous serving of pork floss in the pork floss & egg sandwich. Do check out their heartwarming story on salt&light:

Should improve entrance area. Only 2 pax can stand at the counter for ordering and the rest have queue outside… had a hard time to browse the menu too.
With this layout in mind, guess it’s better to have the QR code ordering? The food is average and it’s slightly imo. The drinks seems to come chilled with no ice, I guess it’s not to dilute it. Pork floss omelette was ok
The ambience is nice though, with the Taipei 101 drawings. Huge fake tree in the middle with some lightings, nice for photo taking.
Food was generally ok. Doesn't taste bad but doesn't taste good. The other outlet at Serangoon seems better.
Decent taiwanese food. But aircon is a bit weak here, and if you are dining in pairs/alone, you may be asked to sit in the middle of the store where seats and tables are very cramped together and uncomfortable.
The brais rice tastes ligh. Taiwan sausage expensive not recommend in this area. Bread and salted crispy chicken nice
Milk tea normal .....
Brought my kids here many times, love the foods
Nice place, nice food
Had the TW Special Today, its worth trying.
Good service
Excellence service.
The waiters are great and the food is delicious and not expensive.
