Reviews of Genius Central Singapore
expect hearty meals in a really spacious and cozy environment. saw some people say its ex, but portions are sizeable esp given that its in CBD + restaurant leh. again, food was tasty but felt like the huge space needs a shoutout cause I’m tired of practically sitting on the lap of the person at the table next to me everywhere else these days :/
Awesome staffs who would greet you with a huge smile.Lovely and a good spread of vegan and non-vegan dishes and options. Had a great time and lovely atmosphere and ambience.
Those who like to hog Starbucks to get some work done, this venue offers a great package and option to dine and get some work done too! Check their website for updates and latest promos!
Came here for breakfast as part of Amoy Hotel. The breakfast was very good. There's no meat in their serving and is vegan and vegetarian. The portion is reasonably good for one person. The eggs are organic and three palate is healthy. The breakfast they done it quite good and delicious. The ambience is nice for relaxing and talking.
This is a great working space that only requires you put down a $35 tab for 8 hours, definitely a good bargain. And with plenty of good vegan options to choose from it's been my favourite places to work out of!
I love how they've added more vegan options to their menu. So far so good!
I recommend their asparagus and cashew soup
A beautiful space for a meal with friends or to put your head down to get some work done. Was quite busy on a Wednesday night with groups on conference calls. While the interior is pretty, the music is a little loud? Might work for some!
The menu has a good selection of vegan/veg and gluten/dairy free options. The food was largely okay - the snapper was particularly enjoyable - everything else was just alright. Service was quick and friendly. I hear good things about breakfast so, would be interested to come back for that.
Very spacious place so it is good if you are looking for a space to do some work.
The menu is extensive, no matter you are vegan or carnivore you can find something that fits your diet. Love the potatoes that came with my burger.
Ordered flat white with walnut milk and confirmed that I’m a cow’s milk lover. So order almond/soy/walnut milk only if you are certain you enjoy your coffee that way.
Will certainly return for the food and space to get some work done.
My short review: I love it!
My long review: Had an enjoyable and relaxed lunch here on a weekday. Services were excellent and foods were fresh and presented nicely as well - the happiness bowl is my favourite! Thought it was full house, it was still not noisy. Highly recommended:)
Very delicious healthy food, good ambience and friendly staff! A good place for studying and working aside from eating and drinking. On their website there are promotion packages including for work-and-dine, where one pays a fee for usage of power plug, high speed wifi and a desk space, which itself comes with F&B credits. The indoor space is huge, where diners and workers are separated in different areas.
we came on friday for dinner, had plenty of tables available and were all nicely spaced out. service was great. we all ordered the Chicken Burger, the chicken was dry and bland. however, as we opted for gluten free toast, it surprised us with how fluffy the bread was. my non-Gluten-free friends couldnt tell the difference with the gluten-free bread.
the vegan nachos was ok, the beans at the bottom made the dish kind of weird.
We were looking for a dine in option for lunch after quite a while on a weekend.
We happened to find this nearby. There were quite a number of vegan and vegetarian options available. The pictures speak for themselves in how delectable they are.
They taste well and satiate one’s palette as well. We tried the following and were amazed by the flavours
1. Egg plant balls
2. Vegan Fajita wraps
3. Thai Red curry
4. Tropical beauty
All for ~60-70 SGD (inclusive of taxes). We would consider going back again to try the other dishes.
Variety of food here was great. Loved the dips platter and fish and chips - super crispy and flaky!! Alcohol is really affordable too, but the only reason why I might not return for a meal is because of the environment - we were seated between two groups of people who were having virtual meetings and project work, which made it a little difficult to enjoy our meal. The whole area was buzzing with people on their laptops too. The place is like a strange mix between a co-working space/office/restaurant, but I guess that's their brand and some people might really like this concept!! (I would if went there to work, but maybe not solely for a meal)
Incredible tasty food (especially bowls are soooo refreshing) with great service, not so crowdy
Good place if you want to find a spot for work outside. At the entrance the staff was asking us whether we want to work or dine in and bring us to the table. They were helpful and the ambience is good.
Ordered ginger latte, popcorn chicken and creamy mushroom pasta and it was pretty good!
Will come back to do my work and get another ginger latte for sure.
Need a place to work or study? Genius Central is the absolute best place for that. Plenty of seats here with power sockets. The staff is an absolute delight too!
The food is a little pricey but its tasty. It gets crowded in the afternoon, so I'd recommend you to come early.
Had brunch here. Falafel bowl was yummy and healthy. Pan seared sea bass was only so so and I wouldn’t order it again. Ultimate cheese pizza was not bad. Overall, place was huge and spacious; pretty good for meetings / working / studying. Recommend!
Popular place for people to have coffee and snacks while working or studying as the restaurant is roomy with lots different styles of chairs and tables.
This place is very vegan-friendly and their menu makes it easier to find vegan, vegetarian, or gluten-free options. The food tasted great. Their roasted potatoes were crunchy and delicious.
Great place to hangout and chill or work. Very spacious and power points provided in most corners. Food is good and staffs are friendly.
Pizza was freshly made and delicious. Portion is OK. With Eatigo, its a good deal. Will sure return again.
7/10
Great place to have a chill light lunch + studying and doing your work.
Food is generally nice but could have been done better. The smoked salmon risotto has a nice smoky flavour to it, but the rice is too mushy. It feels more like a smoked salmon porridge (which I like 🤣, but not when I expect a risotto 😥). The chicken burger is very refreshing with fruity flavours, but unfortunately the chicken is too dry. The flavours can make up for it though. Lastly, the chocolate mud cake is too dry as well. The flavours are nice and light for a mud cake, not too heavy or "jelak", but yeah its dry 😥. I ate it with some water and it improved it greatly 🤣.
Overall great place if you don't mind these short comings. It is definitely worth it with their ongoing 1 for 1 promo with Burpple.
Tried their Holy Guacamole ($15++) and Falafel Bowl ($18++)
Also, seating area was spacious.
Nice atmosphere and delicious food though they are on the slightly pricier side. Place gives the vibes of a cafe + co-working space and there are electrical plugs to charge your devices for some tables.
[Edit] Been here few times and tried a couple more different gluten-free and dairy-free dishes! Loving the fish & chips. National day Vegan Laksa is a little let down as the portion is unexpectedly small (the plate looks big only). Popcorn chicken is my all time favourite.
I would strongly encourage the management team to educate or train the staffs around food allergen/dietary info or at least don't try to act smart and please direct to a senior who can understand. I'm very surprised to hear from one of the staff "ya, this is not dairy-free because coconut milk".......... It's definitely not a fun joke nor a cool thing to give false info!

Portobello burger - glad that they have Gluten-free and dairy-free option for this! Though the gluten-free toast is slightly hard and dry than I expected. But it was okay because the mushroom, caramelised onions and mayo balanced out the toast with its juice. Potato chunks as the side was yummy too, crispy on the outside and a little hard in the inside (Preference I guess). Portion can be little bigger though for the price…
House smoked salmon pasta (gluten-free) overall tastes quite bland.
Green goddess soup IS SO YUMMY! And warm my stomach especially it’s cold weather! It goes really well with the gluten-free toast too!
Peanut butter slice is on point. Beetroot cake pretty yummy too but somehow the coconut tastes much stronger the beetroot and I find overall is little dry in texture. Chocolate mud cake is my least favourite cause it’s quite dry and nothing special.
Personally find the aircon at smaller area is quite cold especially the two seaters area.
Nice and cozy ambience with good service. The food we ordered tasted average although the plating looks awesome. The vegetarian Thai red curry was too bland and the rice was too starchy.
Really pretty cafe/ casual dining restaurant. Only visited because of burpple 1 for 1 mains voucher my friend got, but saw that there was an ongoing lunch promo as well. Food was great but really pricey, my salmon on mash was $26 not inclusive gst and svc charge. Ambience was cozy yet spacious.
The cheese quesadilla tasted so good with the dip that comes on the side. It’s for value with burrple beyond! 5 stars for this! Sides were good too! Authentic guacamole, spiced corn and cherry tomatoes.
Given 3 stars as we also ordered the salmon dish and it’s not the best tasting salmon I had and it’s a bit pricey for the amount of fish given.
Earlier this year, I booked the bar area space for a small company event with 30-40 pax. They were really accommodating. Shoutout to Shah and Surene. The crew were also constantly checking in on us and the event went smoothly. Food was really good. Overall satisfied 5* experience and price! One of the cheapest event space that provides good food and beer.
On second occasion, I came with another friend and bought the day pass for work. Still the same good atmosphere, with like-minded crowd. The nachos with dips are still my favourite light bite. I'll definitely be visiting again once in awhile!
Ordered Thai red curry, it was really tasty. My friend ordered the khichdi. That was good too: very nice ambience to work/ catchup with friends. Would visit again as they have quite a few vegetarian options
Came by with my colleagues today and we had cakes + coffee. think we ordered the key lime tart, chic fudge and some peanut coconut cake. Coffee was decent and the cakes were also good except for the coconut one that was rather dry. Nice place to chill.
A very cool reuse space, deceptively large in the inside from the front door near the coffee bar. Not surprising a well designed space world be a popular hangout, drawing workers and students with laptops to use tables for hours. Genius Central takes this challenge head on, combining a workspace and a cafe to please both groups. Beyond coffee they have healthy juice combinations, I had a green mix with celery lychee providing a crisp fresh option for late afternoon. Will go back for food which looked tasty on other tables.
Love this place! From the interior to the service. It's very comfortable for a meal. And they are also open to those looking for a spot to be productive. Unfortunately the music can be a bit too loud, so it may not be suitable for taking conference calls. But other than that good was excellent and fresh too.
Food was not bad, but we had a sauce that tasted quite obviously spoilt and the staff insisted that it was how it’s supposed to taste... the space is big and the service staff tend to stay at the main area so if you sit elsewhere, they pay zero attention to you. Overall the dining experience wasn’t great. But the beetroot cake was really good.
Ambience is lovely. Space is large, a little too large that can sit too many people working to the point I can't connect to the wifi. You also get seated with strangers on the same table which during covid is a no no. Dining options a little ex for cafe price but it has a bar too so meant to be ex . Prepare to spend at least $30+ here.
Portions look decently sized but it felt relatively light. Flavors seem to be there but they lack the right balance, leaning too strongly on one flavor or another.
Risotto had a strong smokey flavor which packs quite a punch but the dish becomes pretty monotonous at the end. Would have more impact if it had some other component like lemon or tomatoes.
The chicken burger was nice with the sauces and filling complementing each other well. The chicken however is dry and the bread is nothing special. The potato sides are nice while it’s hot.
The chocolate mud cake looked impressive at first, but is dry- tastes better while sipping some water.
Amazing spot to get work done! Huge menu with loads of food and drinks, and also a really spacious restaurant! Solid ambience and service is wonderful. I do recommend bringing a jacket as it can get quite chilly! They also have 1f1 for Burpple premium members! The fish and chips I had was delicious!
Excellent space for lunch or dinner dining. Healthy food options available. Space is work and meeting friendly.
Highly recommend to check out if you work in the area of Raffles Place, Telok Ayer or Chinatown.
Ambience and service were excellent. Very friendly and patient staff. Food was alright overall. The fried potatoes accompanying the portobello burger were delicious. The vegan laksa was so-so, didn't really taste like laksa but was decent nonetheless in terms of taste.
For vegan, vegetarian, and people who requires gluten-free diet and even dairy-free diet, Genius Central Singapore is one hidden gem in Singapore to consider especially for Corporate events and event planners looking for healhty options to provide such meals!
In addition, the menu here includes organic chicken, fish and prawns option.
Service for delivery is awesome! It works with delivery drivers to ensure timely delivery for events as long as one orders sufficiently ahead of time to buffer for the unexpected. No photos of the takeaways as I was too hungry to eat it than to take photos of the delicious food.
Food is delicious and lovingly prepared. Thank you team at Genius Central Singapore.
I like its Falafel Bowl and Flavours of Asian. Its double chocolate muffins are richly delicious. A hidden gem for special dietary needs and even a regular healthy meal! Suitable for people with budget around $20 per meal or more before GST and delivery charges.
Industry themed spacious restaurant that sells variety of food. We had Lemon chicken and creamy mushroom pasta. Both were very delicious and the chicken was tender. Good service and chill atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Love the co-working concept and service here. Waiter and waitress here are always very responsive and helpful. Food and drinks are not boring too :)
Glad to see they're open on a Sunday. Liked the way the potatoes are done for their fish and chips. Loved the pasta as well. Fairos was knowledgeable and shared a lot about their food.
It’s amazing how versatile their menu is - offering GF, DF, V & VG options so people with different dietary preferences can all dine together! We tried their vegan falafel and mushroom burger and both are absolutely delicious😋
Cosy environment and inclusive food options - vegetarian, gluten free. Enjoyed my quesadilla!
This is a great place to work, there's wifi and ample plug points! Ambience is productive, really got a lot done! However, the food here is TERRIBLE. We ordered the vegan mud cake and chilli lime cashews and both were abysmal. Cafe latte was also not good. The cake was listed as raw and tasted raw, the chilli lime cashews were something bought in a store and stale. If you're coming to work, stick to drinks.
My experience at Genius Central was a mixed one. The staff was friendly, but I felt they could have been more attentive. I ordered some bites, which were not too bad. The cold air conditioning was a relief, especially on hot days, but it's worth noting that some patrons might want to stay for extended periods for work or meetings, so it's a good idea to bring along a shawl or jacket as the aircon can be quite cold.
I love the food, ambience however, i would suggest to place a bell on each table for easy access to service staffs.
Nice ambience for chill out drinks and nice cakes with co-workers here
This has to be one of the most underrated restaurants around for folks like me who have multiple food intolerances. Even my husband who is nonGF and nonDF feels the food is pretty good. 🥰
Nice breakfast menu. Complete enough for those who need bread toasts and fruitbols in the morning ☺️
ordered seabass & salmon, both were good. staffs were friendly.
I had an excellent experience in Genius Cafe Sanur (Bali), and my expectation of food is really high. Food is better than average, but you can't expect it to be as good as in Bali due to poor sources and not-so-rich herbal spices.
Another thing is service, and that is the most demotivating. I had a booking at 3 pm, arrived a little bit earlier, placing the order online on table in, it took some 15 min without success.
The waitress helped took my order and immediately started encouraging us to hurry up because the kitchen is closing.
I am trying to do my best, book a table, show-up on time, least what I except is unpolite service.
The venue is nice and the food served in generous portions - however, the dishes are rather uneven flavour-wise. The lemongrass chicken was really good, while the lentil-based mix that we ordered was very blend.
Desserts are small and rather expensive. Good experience overall though.
Fresh food, good service and great music selection! What can be better to start a fresh day like this!
Delicious food and great service. Happy hour is great too.
What beautiful place to have lunch at calm and peaceful place. Customer service can say ok 👍🏽not bad not good , as to call the attender itself took time as the place is huge. Food is vegan
Food was very fresh & staff was friendly! really nice ambiance too! will come back again! (:
Visited Genius Central for brunch on a weekend and it was not as crowded.
Ordered pasta and quesadilla and both dishes came up to expectation.
Their smoothies are a must.
Service was OK as staffs were attentive.
This is my favourite place to work in Singapore! Not only is it spacious and calm (located in Far East Square), the food and drinks are great too.
The food is always fresh and tasty, with something for everyone - healthy, less healthy, vegetarian, vegan, etc. I love coming for lunch, work throughout the afternoon and then benefit from the 1 for 1 happy hour!
The service is quick and friendly. Highly recommend!
Food and ambience were great, nice place to chill on a Sat afternoon! Also liked the service of helpful and friendly staff like Praveen.
Visited for late lunch during Sunday. Nice ambience. Pumpkin ricotta pizza with additional chicken topping was great, as recommended by the only female crew there who was very friendly and chatted with my family. A little peculiar the 1 for 1 330ml beer is priced at $12 when the same 330ml beer is listed at $10 under ala-carte.
Overall nice ambience, little pricey food, interesting place.
I work here sometime during weekends. food and drink are just so so. one time there is a mice running pass me inside the cafe and since then I never go there again…
Lot's of vegetarian/vegan options. The food was great and the service too!
Good restaurant, great options especially vegetarian, but service needs to be improved.
The batter for the Fish and Chips is crispy and does not crumble away from the meat, and it stays that way even after awhile in the open. The meat is firm and it is savoury to the taste. The 'chips' (potatoes) are nicely grilled that brings out the natural taste of the potato. The taste of the Americano is extracted just right for me, complementing my mains.
A really cosy place to do work or catch up with people but will be even better if coffees are nicer. My flat white tasted quite diluted and not much coffee taste.
a really good place to get fusion continental food
work friendly stations & quick service
the fusion Thai & fusion Indian are really good
also the chai is nice
Waitress seemed a little lost due to inexperienced. Reception inside the restaurant was bad as well. But overall good food at decent prices.
Food is alright. They forgot my order amongst the group and tried their best "speed up"
Good service, tasty food. Menu has a wide range of vegan options. Spacious interior.
Nice breakfast, friendly staff.
Perfect device, amazing space and great menu. Nothing more to say.
I got a gluten free burger. Gluten-free bread is often dry and doesn't taste as good as you would expect, but it was very different from what I expected and was very delicious. After the meal, we shared three gluten-free cakes among the five of us, and the chocolate cake, carrot cake, and banana bread were all mildly sweet, delicious, and very satisfying. The only complaint? The food and dessert were so delicious that I ended up eating way too much. The inside of the store is also very cozy, and if you live in Singapore, it's a must to be a regular. If you're traveling or on a business trip, I think it's definitely a good idea to visit during your stay.
