Awesome birthday dinner I had with my wife. The wagyu ribeye was perfect and service was immaculate. Highly recommended!! The scallops, spinach and mushrooms were all so fresh and tasty. House red was fantastic too!!

I went to this restaurant on a friend’s recommendation, for a celebration dinner with my family. We ordered the dinner set menu, steak, lamb as well as a few desserts. The food was good. The garlic bread and foie gras was very well done, and the steaks were flavourful and tender. Desserts were very decent and well presented as well. Notably, the service by Mr Krishna was impeccable. He was professional, knew the meats very well, and knew how to make my daughter enjoy the dining experience. Thank you, Gordon Grill. We will come back again.

Had the set menu (apparently it's a special surf and turf menu until 30 June).... Went with my extended family including my younger cousins and I just say that while the quality of the food was really good, the portions were surprisingly small, even my youngest cousins asked for 3 extra baskets of bread after they have finished their main courses! Ambience was pretty nice and pleasant and the tables weren't packed too tightly together which was nice. They service was okay but they kept getting confused with our orders (perhaps because we had 16 people), food service was also rather slow and when we asked for a change in main, they said we could not even though I mains only came out about half an hour later..... Presentation of the food was good though and the waiters and waitresses were pleasant... Price was a bit on the high side especially because the portions were on the small side :(

The food was excellent during our dinner visit just last week. But what stood out more was the excellent level of service from Krishna. I'd like to highlight that our last visit was in 2020 and he still recognised both my husband and me, and welcomed us back. He took note of the fact that we finished the garlic bread from the bread basket and brought refills, came to check on us without being intrusive. He even tracked us down after we had left to give us complimentary parking - we were informed that there was none and this was a pleasant surprise. We'd go back anytime for the food (the wild mushroom veloute was just yum, and the chocolate mousse cake was just nice without being OTT and their bearnaise sauce for the steak is one of the best around) but the service is beyond excellent and that's what compels us back.

Got a corner area and had a good dining experience. The trio soup and 2 small portions of dessert was delightful as I can have the taste of each! Only one of the service crew wasn’t too helpful when I asked which ones of the appetisers are raw, he simply said all are raw. Following which the rest of the diners (who couldn’t eat raw too) ordered through another service staff and she only mentioned 2 items out of 5 that were raw.

Last of the old charm restaurant where you can find attentive staff who wait upon you in an ambience for a perfect meal. We had the 3-course Weekend Roast Lunch at $68pp++. We chose 3 different starters - seaweed pasta, sautéed brandy garlic snails and pan fried fois gras - which were great in whetting our appetite and in just the right portion. For soup, the lobster bisque had bits of lobster and was tasty but it could be better with slightly thicker broth. Our mains were roasted prime beef ribeye from the wagon which were generous and served in perfect medium, accompanied with Yorkshire pudding, mashed potatoes, baked beans. We finished our meal with either coffee or tea, which were part of the set lunch. Overall a good value and satisfying dining experience.

Just had lunch today at Gordon Grill.. Wifey and I had their set lunch.. Totally loved it! Sample sizes.. amazing.. get to taste the great flavours.. Variety.. I had the beef tenderloin for main.. which was superb! To some.. they may find helpings are small.. but it was very filling for both of us.. so.. we were extremely satisfied! The service staff were at the top of their game 👍🏼 Highly recommended 👍🏼👍🏼

The staff were most wonderful and attentive. Went for the 3 course set meal. It was well worth the money. The steak was absolutely brilliant at medium rare. The appetisers are very sea food centric so go for the soup if you prefer that. The desert was great too. However, some of the patrons spoke really loudly and whilst that did not dampen our experience, it certainly did not add to it.

“Ain’t no Gordon Ramsay” We didn’t try the steaks which I suppose are what this restaurant specialize in judging from its name, however we tried the other mains which were just so so. I hate to say that the duck confit was probably one of the worst we’ve had.. it was dry and very untender. Nonetheless we liked the soothing and cosy ambience and would probably come back for just an afternoon tea. Big props to our waitress who was very attentive.. thank you!

Service and environment are very good, Michelin level, food menu pricing normal, but wine list is about 10X higher than market, twice than other restaurants. Food taste average, steak can't say terrible but just ok.. presentation is way to simple. Should be a good place for biz lunch only.

Book this restaurant for my boyfriend’s birthday and Krishnan made the whole dining experience entertaining and wonderfully special. The curry escargots was mind blowing. Steak was amazing, the duo of pork wasn’t special but service impeccable. We will not hesitate to go back.
