Reviews of Grove 素林
Came to the Canberra plaza branch today with my parents and daughter. It's been a long while since I've been here and the food quality and service has improved alot.
I will highly recommend their nasi lemak. What makes it different from other nasi lemak is that the colour is derived from the blue pea flowers. Their portion is also big with lots of ingredients, worth the money. Food came fast too 👍🏻
Will be back again for more blue pea nasi lemak 🥰
Our second time visiting the restaurant. Love the assam fish with rice! It even come with a ring roll :) The gravy is not too spicy and its sourness is just right ! Will visit again!
Staff at the cashier were very rude. Definitely won't come back again. I would rather pay more for yakun.
The dining experience has been alright, but there have been instances where my girlfriend and I arrived around 7:30 PM only to find that many food options were already sold out. This led us to venture a bit further to find vegetarian options. It would be greatly appreciated if they could provide proper adequate customer service and offer competitively priced, high-quality food even during later hours.
Had our breakfast set of Toasted Bread and Buns with Butter and Kaya, Coffee and half boiled eggs.
Liked the eggs, not the usual chicken eggs but those white colored shells. Not commonly found in SG. The last time we took that was years back when in Malacca.
When we asked if the eggs can be cooked abit longer, the staff were very obliging and told us that they can help put the eggs in the boiled water and we decide on the time ourselves. However, they only have porcelain cups to put 2 eggs in, which has insufficient boiled water to further cook the eggs. Perhaps the management can consider getting some bigger containers for this.
The Kopi O kosong was smooth and the Kopi was just perfect.
The buns and bread could have toasted abit longer for that extra crispness.
Overall, we throughly enjoyed our breakfast and will definitely come back again, especially the coffee.
Foods taste ok. Price not cheap. Ordered two noodle plus a "assam fish beancurd", although I dun want rice but staff said "same price", why ? $7.8 without rice and only two pieces of fish, that's expensive. Might still come again, if can't find other foods at Canberra Plaza.
Nice rendang nasi lemak and curry chee Cheong fun! Had Hainanese curry rice the other day and it was amazing too!
Had the Laksa and it was decent but not particularly mindblowing - heavy on the turmeric which I personally favour :) I'd suggest trying their popular items next time!
I liked that they have good variety of local food like nasi lemak and laksa. Flavourful and mock meat soak up the gravy of the curry in the nasi lemak. Only con is might be a bit expensive for some.
Like the place very much even though I'm not a vegetarian. Only complain is wish they would keep more stock though. Some dishes are sold out quite early in the day
Thumbs up! Delicious vegetarian food!
Have a little patience when there is crowd
Curry is sour liao. Overall the rest still taste great.
Nice food, convenient location. Great for casual meeting friends and family for a nice meal
Food ok, boss is friendly.
Glad to see another vegetarian outlet at Canberra. Food is average, environment is good.
Very delicious!

Nasi lemak The blue flower nasi lemak is very special. The rice grains are soft and delicious, and the fragrance of coconut is overflowing. It has the comfort of the blue sky in the afternoon🥰. It is paired with the rendang made of delicious Hericium mushrooms. The dance of the taste buds will slow down on the tip of the tongue. Slow bloom😆. Then take a sip of the three-color milk tea with rich brown sugar, which is satisfying. I hope I can always maintain my “innocence” towards food! 👍
The food met the basic expectations. Service quality can be better. Tried a few items but the Scrambled Egg Crispy Chop Bolo Bun Set (Fried Egg Crispy Chop Bolo Bun Set) was something that I preferred as it gives the feel of local coffeeshop feel.
The Curry Chee Cheong Fan Set with Barley Drink (curry rice roll set and barley water) is good!
tasty!
