The business was brisk during my visit, yet the service remained warm and attentive—a testament to their commitment to customer satisfaction. The chicken itself was the star of the show. Tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked, it was everything you’d want in this iconic dish. Each bite was flavorful, showcasing the care and skill that goes into its preparation. However, where this stall excelled with its chicken, it fell short with its rice. The choice of broken grains led to a texture that was overly moist, robbing the dish of the fragrant, fluffy base that chicken rice aficionados have come to expect. Unfortunately, this mismatch slightly dampened an otherwise enjoyable meal. On the bright side, the prices are reasonable, making this a solid choice for those seeking good chicken and friendly service on a budget. With some improvement in their rice preparation, this stall has the potential to elevate its offering from good to great. Would I return? For the chicken and the friendly faces, yes—but with hopes that they’ve reworked their rice recipe by then.

Pretty decent chicken rice stall here. Chicken is moist and not too dry or mushy. Rice is well cooked and the soup is ok. The uncle will mix up orders during busy times so do remember to tell him what you want clearly and loudly and double check your order.

❤❤❤❤it! If you are craving for chicken rice but still feel guilty for glupping down heavily glazed rice, this may be for you. You don't feel the oiliness but it's still tasty & flavourful. Chicken meat: Just nice tender breast meat. Not too soggy nor too hard or dry. Which is great for breast meat which is usually not preferred. Rice: Flavourful, clean and tasty. Feels like homemade dish. 很有家的味道。 Time spent: If you are going during lunch, be prepared for a long Q!

Really affordable and yummy chicken rice. Rice was fragrant and not oily, chilli was on point and soup was flavourful. Roasted chicken was decent as well for the affordable price. Friendly service from the uncle :)
