Wonderful and friendly service given on top of the lovely food! Recommendations given for the food were on point and complemented each other very well. The mixed kebabs were amazing and a must try. The hummus with focaccia are wonderfully starters. Will definitely come back to try the other food.

I was at Hillcrest Grubs earlier this month and the level of service that I received from the time I made the online reservation to after our meal was truly exceptional. The owners and staff were thoughtful and friendly. It’s a small and cozy restaurant - it does feel like you’re having a meal at a friend’s house. We enjoyed their mixed plate of kebabs the most, the meat was well flavoured and very tender. This is quite possibly the best plate of kebabs I’ve had in Singapore. I highly recommend this place.

Dining here felt like we were in a private kitchen in someone's home. We really enjoyed the dips. The baba ganoush and tzaziki stood out more than the hummus - all the dips were quite heavily spiced and flavourful. We did like the foccacia but felt the pita goes better with the dips. Will try another main next time. There was not much to fault about the lamb kebabs, only that some of the smaller chunks were a tad over done. Tiramisu was enjoyable too, would have suited us even more if there was a higher mascarpone to sponge ratio and slightly less sweetness. All in, $66 for two - well worth - on second thoughts I think they missed out charging us $8 for the set! The owner wasn't there on the day but service was extremely friendly. We had a good chat with the pastry chef!

This was the absolute best Mediterranean meal we’ve had😋 Thank you team at @hillcrestgrubs — our tummies and hearts were so so full! 1. classic hummus and focaccia (finger licking good hummus and really flavourful bread) 2. Tabbouleh Salad (there’s a mystery spice in the dressing which I couldn’t figure out. If you do, let me know what it is!) 3. Lamb kebabs were just 🤤 4. St Peter’s Fish! I LOVED THIS! Bringing parents back for it… but call ahead cos it runs out fast it seems! 5. A special off menu creation for the birthday guy we celebrated - made just how he likes it… Chocolatey!

Highly recommend the delicious & generous portions of food served here! A hidden gem that many tastebuds have yet to know about, a no-frills eatery that dishes out quality, amazing food that is served right from the heart. Not only will you leave feeling satisfied in your tummy, you will feel like you’ve truly supported local at its finest. Loveeee the hummus, baba ganoush & focaccia, and I can’t wait to try more dishes here. Family friendly, and full of utter deliciousness.

With friend’s recommendation, we tried this quaint cosy eatery tucked in Coronation Plaza. The external facade reminded me of Orchard Shopping Centre and Far East Shopping Centre. It was really pleasant to be served by Marcus. The lamb with mint chutney lacked the mint after-taste which I would have expected. Lamb was well done. This main course was not as well-seasoned as I would have expected. For the beef cheek stew, a strong taste and fragrant of stout was evident. It was a tad salty for my liking. Clam chowder was flavourful. I was surprised they served saltine crackers to pair with this soup. The kebabs were unfortunately tad dry for our liking.

On the top floor of Coronation Plaza stretching across 2 shop fronts. Family-run restaurant focusing on Mediterranean and Italian cuisine and wines. Food is really well prepared and absolutely delicious. Wide range of meat or vegetarian dishes as well and wines and beers. Service is friendly and prompt. Definitely worth a visit!

💯 recommend this cosy homely place. We finished everything, what stood out was definitely the fried whole Tilapia fish with Garlic Aioli. The Italian wine was crisp and light too, kudos to Marcus for making such good recommendations! Will definitely be back

It is visually appealing and an absolute savoury with every bite I took. Honestly, it was beyond the simple description of “oh, nice, delicious”. The chef puts in tremendous effort in the cooking of these dishes. The bursting flavours when you sink in every mouthful is like … “wah lau mak, I think I have travelled overseas”. I love the dedication of how the works go into the creation of these foods. Flowery description it might be… but try it yourself and see if this IS IT.

So pleased to find excellent Mediterranean food in Sg at v reasonable prices. Enjoyed the hummus dips, salad, falafel, kebabs, beef stew and desserts thoroughly.

Gave it a try and the food was absolutely delicious! The wheel of dips was so good and went well with the pita pockets (especially the midnight hummus and spinach artichoke). Ordered the za'atar chicken, jalapeno poppers and lamb kebabs as well and I can only say I'll definitely be ordering them again! Also, delivery was super quick despite the heavy downpour.

My first time visiting this place. Ordered the whole grilled chicken and truffle fries as sides for 2 pax! The chicken was tender, well marinated and tasty. Truffle fries crispy and yummy too. Definitely worth to try it! 💯👍🏻

Like the homely feel of this place. Food is good. I don’t usually eat salad or Mediterranean but the tabbouleh salad and kebabs are awesome! Price reasonable if not better than other restaurants.

An explosion of flavours! The Garlic Dinner Rolls & Dips Delight is a must-have if you're looking to sample a variety of Mediterranean flavours. Chicken Kebabs were grilled to a T; juicy and tender, with a nice char. To top it all off, the warm and cosy setting, coupled with the wonderful table service, made it one-heaven-of-a dining experience!

A real nice place to chill out over good food and relaxing atmosphere. The space has been thoughtfully decorated and they certainly have pride in what they serve. Every dish is made to order and we could appreciate the high quality ingredients used to bring out depth of flavor and taste. Special shout out for the hummus and tipsy beef cheeks (the gravy is legendary). Good Food, Good Mood. Highly recommended!

Ordered a party set for 4 people. The wraps were HUGE but it allowed us to really fill them up with the meat and the veggies. Chicken kebabs were awesome but the lamb ones were a bit dry (probably due to transport). Otherwise, satisfactory and filling meal.
