Went there for a birthday lunch on a weekday. Staff were attentive. Fast serving of food. Ordered 3 sets + many small portion of meats, mushrooms. Meat were nice. The A5 Wagyu Karubi and pork collar taste the best to me. Love their side dishes (braised quail eggs, cabbage, luncheon meat, cold tofu) too, which were refillable. Wagyu beef soup was nice as well. Filling and total price paid was reasonable. Great experience. By the way, I ordered their Yusheng not long ago during CNY. The sauce was unique and ingredients were very fresh. All my family members said it was nice. Recommended.

Food quality is not bad at all. Service is above average, price is on the high side. But that's probably because it comes with good meat. Beef n pork are generally tasty. Will be back.

Miyazaki wagyu that is so well marbled that it melts in your mouth. Every bite is delicious! We got the Miyazaki wagyu buffet and we were not disappointed, super tender and every bite is an melt in your mouth experience. We ordered an side of salmon sashimi and the fish is super fresh too. Not sure if the matcha gelato is home made, but it's very smooth and refreshing to cut away the taste of the beef. The service is super fast too! After placing an order, everything comes at a pace within a short while. Overall, it's a great experience dining here and I would def come again if I m hungry for some A5 waygu. ☺️

Wanted to try as soon as it was opened at The Rail Mall and finally fulfil my wish. Not too crowded probably it is not well-known yet since the shop is still new to the location. Staffs were attentive though they looked in-experienced. We felt meat colour was a little changed but it was tasty. All plates were reasonably priced.

Service is adequate but need to be quite precise with them regarding what you want. Asked for kimchi and got chuka idako instead. The beef is reasonably good, although the cuts are fairly thin. But the taste and quality is not bad. The side dishes I tried, such as the wasabi ika, chuka idako, Wakame are forgettable at best. But the chuka idako is very heavily salted, leaving my tongue stinging from the salt. Price is okay but I prefer the other Wagyu buffet I had at Tanjong Pagar. Do note that you are limited to 90 minutes and last order at 70 minute mark.

Echo the comments about the beef another reviewer mentioned. For whatever reason, just oily, no beef taste. Won't be back.

Went to visit on the 11th June and choose the buffet option. No free flow drinks despite choosing the buffet option. They do have the free flow hot tea but comes at $3. Our buffet starts at around 12.10pm. Last order is during 1pm+ when the kitchen is not closing yet which is very puzzling. Wagyu beef quality is very nice. Although the cuts of the beef were uneven. Some slices are thick and some slices are thin. Sesame ice cream is nice also with some mild taste of peanuts. Service staff is extremtly polite, efficient and nice. Mainly, there's not much crowd but can foresee that they will have issues handling if the restaurant is at full capacity. Overall I give a rating of 3*. Been to multiple wagyu restaurants, so it pales in comparison to the rest in terms of selection of the meat choices and there's no free flow drinks even with that kind of price tag.

Quality of the beef was excellent. We ordered a set and the prices and portion sizes were very reasonable. Especially liked the steak. Restaurant was clean and I didn't leave the restaurant with my hair smelling of grilled meat. Such an enjoyable dining experience, I would definitely go again and will surely be coming back with friends.

Lived in Hillview for 3 years and I can’t believe I never knew of this place. The quality of the beef is ridiculously good for its price. Service staff is excellent especially the Vietnamese one. Very accommodating and prompt in everything. Have found my favourite yakiniku and definitely coming back

Love the Iberico Grill Set! Not too expensive and it comes with appetisers, chawanmushi and soup!

Not too sure if price increased already as compared to before. But the cuts of the A5 were definitely inconsistent. We ordered a portion of A5 wagyu beef cubes and it was really good, however, we ordered it again and it tasted like a mixture of US beef cubes with A5 Wagyu beef cubes (Ate enough wagyu beef buffets to differentiate the taste). Service could be improved, came here on a Saturday night at around 8pm. Crowd seems settled, but we waited 30minutes for the food to arrive, had to request for refills multiple times throughout the dinner. For the price paid, experience was below expectations, definitely would recommend gyu kaku instead for its consistent cuts of beef.

After reading several good reviews here, went to try the A5 Miyazaki buffet. Food quality mediocre at best and at the steep price of $118++ (not including drinks), was quite disappointed with the food quality. 1st thing was the A5 Miyazaki- not the top quality(vs what I’ve tried in Japan even though it’s A5 ). Worst is that it comes out FROZEN ! Serving unthawed meat at this price is unacceptable (this is A5 Miyazaki- have some class pls, at least thaw it before serving) Still on the A5 beef.. 1st serving was quite tender but subsequent servings got more chewy.. guess it’s a norm for many Wagyu bbq restn out there.. tried the beef tongue too.. extremely thinly sliced (when it should be thick) Other food stuff seems ok (except for sushi which broke apart once pick up). By the way, there were only around 4 tables of customers (20% of its full capacity), but serving time was very slow. Certainly not the waitress fault as the place is clearly understaffed (at customers expense).. the 2 waitress on duty were trying their best though (rushing from 1 table to another) Didn’t order the pork but saw that they serve NTUC Porkee brand… Wouldn’t come again at this price and unthawed meat. There are better places with better location and more value mf or money prices.

Service was really good! Was running late and had to change my reservation and staff was patient and kind enough to assist with it. Food was affordable and really yummy! We went for the buffet and ate our fill, staff came regularly to clear our plates and top up our drinks. Highly recommended if you are looking to have a good Japanese bbq meal with quality meats!

We went for the tiktok hype but was a little disappointed. We ordered the A5 buffet set but the meat quality were rather inconsistent. The tiger prawn was actually better. There is a wide range of side dishes. The matcha gelato was very nice. Using the one time cheap quality wooden chopsticks made the whole experiences worse. They have a 70mins ordering time and the serving can be faster. Total damage were $280 for two pax. Probably will not go back.
