Grilled fish was nice. Ordered the grill fish, chose the lowest spicy option. We also ordered mala tofu, kids couldn't handle the spiciness though. But tasted just nice for adults. Another recommendation was the bbq skewers, first round ordered pork belly, mutton, beef. 2nd round ordered mutton only. 😆 Overall, good experience and I would definitely come again. 2 adults 2 kids super full

Food is cheap! Total damage $45.50 for 4 mains and some skewers. Highly recommend suan cai yu, tomato egg and skewers. 5/5 The broth in suan cai yu was really flavourful and addictive. Great to have on a rainy day. As for the spinach dish, the vegetables is towards the dry side. But taste wise is okay. Would give it a rating of 3/5. For the dumpling, was pretty disappointing. Soup was bland & dumpling was tasteless. Rating 1/5. Overall, for the price point, food is worth it! Would definitely visit again to try their grilled fish & mala!

Have eaten the mala numerous times. Each time around $25 for 2 pax. Spice level (小辣) is reasonable. Would strongly recommend for all to order the fried sunny side egg instead of having the egg cooked with the noodles. Gets quite crowded around 6-7.30pm but the staff try to rearrange the tables to fit patrons. Can get quite hot/stuffy too. Staff also allow outside drinks to be brought in, which is great!

I always bring guests and friends here to eat Mala,very affordable place as well as very generous portions. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Without sides and just mala it can go as low as 10-20SGD per pax, with sides it can cost you 20-30SGD per pax.

Really love this mala place! Very accessible from MRT/interchange and the food is seriously good! Many Chinese also frequent there, so it is probably authentic/close to the real deal :p. Their mala is really nice, with good selection of ingredients. Their grilled fish selection is very varied (5-6 options iirc). I tried the one with pickled vegetable, and it's good! Very affordable as well, on top of the generous portion. Favourite side dish gotta be their lamb skewers! I always go for less spice (context: I usually get xiao la), and it hits just right! Tender meat with very generous portion, and very good meat to fat ratio, so you won't feel like every bite is too fatty, while still packing a punch for the flavour. If you dabao this, it won't be as nice, cos the residual heat will make the meat less tender. 10/10 place, very good service as well, and to top it off, therea Favepay, so can get cash back LOL

Ordered the 水煮牛 and 酸菜鱼 via foodpanda. Wife felt the latter was "fishy" but perfectly fine for me. Beef could be more tender but the taste for both was really good. Will return for sure.

I tried the mala xiangguo mid spicy, no gravy, ingredients not fresh which i told them remove from display. Total $17 with rice and drinks for 1 person, not as what i expect from review.
