Reviews of IKI Healthy Soba
The spot this store is at is having great footfall but bad Feng Shui. Since the renovation of the mall countless stores have open and closed at this location. Not even the long suffering pagi sore that operates since the 90s survive.. I really hope this store made it. The food here is excellent. Ingredients are fresh. You will feel it when you eat it. Soba is soft. Broth is nicely done. Options of a mini rice bowl n simple soba is only 20+- nett. A steal in Singapore. The ratio of ingredients is generous. My mini duck avocado don has a bowl filled with smoked duck till I felt it's overflowing. Very vast selection of hot and cold soba. A spot soba lover sure not to miss or regret so on this sunny island .
Iki serves one of the best cold sobas in Singapore! Their soba is unique due to it being handmade and the broth is clean-tasting. Their cold soba is super satisfying on a hot day and their hot soba is comforting on a cold day. Most people don’t realize this but their side dishes are also delicious and pairs very well with their curated sakes. Must try!
**IKI Healthy Soba: A Taste of Home, Every Day**
I've been searching for a place that could replicate the comfort and warmth of home-cooked meals, and IKI Healthy Soba has truly hit the mark. This unassuming little eatery serves up some of the most satisfying soba dishes I've ever had, and their attention to detail is simply impeccable.
The soba itself is cooked to perfection, with a delightful chewiness that's reminiscent of homemade noodles. The accompanying dipping sauces are a delightful blend of flavors, and I particularly enjoyed the tangy-sweet tsuyu. But it's the mini unagi don that truly steals the show. The grilled eel is succulent and flavorful, and the rice is perfectly cooked. It's a small but incredibly satisfying dish that's sure to leave you wanting more.
What sets IKI Healthy Soba apart is the care and attention that goes into every dish. It's clear that the chefs take pride in their work, and it shows in the quality of the food. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing meal with friends or family.
If you're looking for a truly authentic and delicious soba experience, I highly recommend giving IKI Healthy Soba a try. You won't be disappointed!
To celebrate Singapore's 59th birthday, Healthy Soba IKI has whipped up a special National Day treat! They are offering a 4-day limited menu NDP Dry Soba with homemade Hae Bee Hiam Sauce at their 100AM store from 8th to 11th August 2024. Priced at $15.90, this special soba dish brings together the spicy, umami-rich flavors of hae bee hiam with the wholesome goodness of freshly made buckwheat soba.
This NDP special is a feast for both the eyes and palate, featuring shredded chicken, crushed peanuts, cherry tomatoes, and taupok (fried beancurd skin). The clever nod to our Singapore flag, with an avocado slice and five slices of ladyfingers arranged like a crescent moon and stars, adds a thoughtful touch for our nation’s special day!
Give the soba a good thorough stir so that every strand is coated in the aromatic hae bee hiam sauce. The dried shrimp delivers a spicy kick that’s beautifully balanced by the nutty richness of the crushed peanuts, which together create a flavour reminiscent of Kewpie’s Roasted Sesame Dressing, but with a local twist.
Enjoy the long weekend and remember to check out their NDP special! Hurry as this limited menu is only available for four days, so don’t miss your chance to savour this uniquely Singaporean creation!

This comes with shredded chicken, crushed peanuts, cherry tomatoes and taupok (fried beancurd skin). They generously filled half of the bowl with slices of cherry tomatoes and also an avocado slice and five slices of ladyfingers, representing our national flag with a crescent moon and five stars!
You need to give the dry soba a good thorough stir to mix all the ingredients plus get the hae bee hiam sauce evenly coated on the soba noodles.
This special menu has a unique taste with the with the aromatic dried shrimp delivering a spicy kick.
The crushed peanuts imparted a nutty taste which tasted like Kewpie brand’s Roasted Sesame Dressing when combined with the hae bee hiam sauce. Love the creamy nutty sauce!
I recently dined in and we loved the speed of service and the exceptional freshness of their soba. From the moment I walked in, the staff was quick to take my order, and my meal arrived in no time. The soba was perfectly prepared, with each noodle having a delightful texture and a subtle, yet distinct, flavor. The freshness of the ingredients was evident in every bite, making the meal not just fast, but also incredibly satisfying. If you're looking for good quality soba that doesn’t keep you waiting, it’s the right place
Finally had a chance to have my favourite soba from Healthy iki Soba at 100AM today. Over-orderer I am, bowl was so full that it took some effort to push the freshly made chewy soba out 🙃 Absolute delight! And I took my time to have my meal while reading the owner’s book ‘Start Over’. Coincidentally I am about to change my career path, it adds warmth to my heart reading it 🫶 The matcha is very good, healthy and easy in taste, I think this is brilliant, it helps to cleanse the palate very well! I was immersed in my delicious meal when owner came by to say Hello. Thank you so much for remembering me, the one who always order cold daikon soba with corn ☺️ You truly made my day happier! And - to add - the service was above excellent. They are helpful, friendly, service oriented and hardworking. 🌟
Popped in during work lunch to try their vegan mushroom cold soba with citrus, so good and refreshing! The staff was also really friendly while serving us, they have a few plant-based options here which is great.
Superb good service! The owner is Japanese. Was looking for vegan option and found this little gem. Was able to change my Kitsune to vegan option. The noodles is very nice.
This place is chef’s kiss. I like their outlet at raffles already but this place tastes amazing! I love their cold duck soba and their chicken collagen soba is SUPER GOOD! Super warming and clean and we finished the entire bowl of soup!
I paired Cold Lemon Soba with Natsu Tonbo 13 Junmai Ginjo. What a heavenly combination.
The Junmai Daiginjo tastes spicy and complex by itself. However, it is sweet-spicy-sweet, and is so smooth to go with my cold lemon soba!
The Japanese manager served us the food even though it is supposed to be self-collection.
The soba tasted authentic just like the soba we had in Japan.
Each dish is roughly 15-20 dollars and is served in large proportion so it is worth the price.
We ordered the 'yuzu salmon hot soba' , 'unagi hot soba' and the 'avocado kaisen tororo cold soba' (our favourite). The amount of meat given was plentiful and will definitely satiate your hunger.
If you want a taste of Japan, here it is. I got the Yamakake Natto Soba and it was fantastic. The soba texture is perfect and close to what I got from handmade soba shops in the countryside of Japan.
I am guessing the Japanese boss is the chef himself. Counter staff is patient and polite.
The vegetarian hot Soba was delicious! We also ordered the cola drink which was yummy! My kids enjoy the food and drink very much! The seats are comfortable and there is no service charge.
Wonderful and delicious soba. Hard to find good and affordable ones these days. Portion and taste was both great especially the duck soba. Flavorful pepper seasoning eliminated any gamey flavor associated with duck. Soba noodles didn’t leave a mushy texture or flavor. Soup was just right in flavor. Hope this place continues providing tasty soba!
We ordered one hot and one cold soba. They were good and healthy. It is a nice place for dinner catch up in the town area away from the bustling streets. The service is so good from the point of ordering to serving. My friend and I had a long catch up in the evening, we were the last to leave the eatery without us knowing, yet they were so kind not to chase us away. Thank you for your warm hospitality.
If you know anything about soba and the way it's made in Japan, you will know that this is one of the best and most authentic soba joints in Asia outside of Japan. This shop grinds its own buckwheat and creates its own noodles. They are cooked perfectly and the broth is superb. In addition they add a number of their own twists like a buratta topping when its available, which is unique. The cooks are trained well by the owner. The atmosphere and other details are not important. They are about what you would expect in a Japanese soba shop where you went for well made soba and it's accompanying dishes. It's an experience and if you like and know anything about soba, you will love this shop. It's traditional washoku at its best.
Healthy and comforting food for the stomach. Service was prompt. Easily accessible, located in 100am level2.
Great Soba - lots of cold and hot options, as well as a rotating monthly special. A good selection of side dishes as well.
Immunity Soba - Big portion + tasty
Yuzu Miso Salmon Soba - 4/5 ( prefers raw salmon on cold soba )
Kaisen Don - 4/5 sesame n seaweed over covered the salmon’s taste. Rice slightly wet but Portions gooood
Yummy and really good portion of protein. Rare find for the price!
After eating Japanese noodles for so many years...this is the first time I have eaten such delicious soba noodles...the texture is very elastic! The soup is also very delicious and you won’t feel thirsty after eating it... I am very satisfied 👍 After eating it, I still want to eat it again next time! 🥰
