aa a frequent customer of Jing Chinese Halal HotPot's old venue, I was thrilled to visit their new Kinex branch. the staff exceeded expectations - attentive, friendly, and exceptional service! however, the grill options left me slightly disappointed. most flavors (black pepper, Sichuan, cumin) were overpowering and overwhelming. the satay flavor was the safe and tasty choice. despite this, i’ll return for their outstanding service and explore other menu options. Keep up the fantastic work, team!

Please bring back the freshly sliced beef from the previous Eastpoint outlet. The sliced beef was the highlight of the meal, given the current price point which is higher. The Mala soup is really good along with the Tom Yum soup. Best and favourite Halal Mala soup so far. Glad that it has been rebranded from the Eastpoint outlet. Ambience is better too.

Great atmosphere and service. Soup was suuuuper good. Had the herbal chicken and tom yum(non spicy). Fish and gochija chicken was my personal favourites. Abit on the pricey side but worth it. Would come again!

The food and atmosphere was great. Dark but that also give a cozy and comfy feeling. Perfect for big gatherings of friends and family. Servers were all very very kind and friendly. Some diners were mean but they did their best to serve while giving a reassuring smile Soup wise, we enjoyed the Mushroom soup a lot. Clear and refreshing but flavourful. Tomyum spicy soup was a tad sweet for our tastebuds. Still enjoyed it.

Was there couple of weekends ago. Service and attention to details was top notch. For the price per pax, it would be great if they have a wider variety of food. But the spread that they do have, the flavors for the protein are wonderful. Soup of choice: Tom Yam (Hot)- Can be abit more spicy Tomato- Still my go to soup. Can always add chili padi (from condiments section) to make it spicier ;) Herbal Chicken- Love the clean taste. Keep in mind that this flavour is a definite acquired taste. All in all, had an enjoyable time with my family here. Will love to return soon :)

I really enjoyed the vibes of the place. The tom yum soup was one of the best i’ve tasted. The meats were well marinated. Food plus ambience combo = a really warmth wholesome feeling. Staff was friendly and professional. There was always someone there to top up our soups and to take away our emptied plates. The flavours of ice creams available got me really excited. Not those common kinds. Really enjoyed the ice cream selections. Will definitely come again! :)

Decent spread of choices, food are generally fresh! Herbal chicken soup is great, salty at the start but taste just right after adding soup. Really appreciate the food service provided by the service crew, all friendly and helpful. Highly recommend, will return again

Came here with my family for a birthday celebration and really enjoyed our time there! There were a wide array of selection of meat for grills and hotpot items as well. There’s also different drinks, ice cream and fruits as dessert. Recommended to come and visit!

Excellent ambience. The buffet spread had a wide variety of choices, fit for a family of picky eaters. Everything from the food to the drinks to the condiments were excellent. Best halal buffet I’ve ever had. The goji chicken was something else, easily a winner for me.

The staff were friendly and approachable. The vibe in the restaurant was so nice. I chose mala as my soup, and it was nice, reminding me of my meal at Eastpoint Shopping Centre. However, the soup was a bit too bitter from the herbs. Overall, I enjoyed my meal there. Thank you!

Calling out to all steamboat lovers!!! and non steamboat lovers too for the BBQ, best duo combi. Love the variety of food options available, I don’t think I managed to try everything even though it’s a free flow buffet! The meats were marinated so well (shoutout to the Goji Chicken)! Seafood was fresh too. Would definitely be back for more. Kudos to the friendly staff, keep up the hard work!!

Firstly, apologies, I have no pictures because I just can't wait to eat. Next, I would like to give a shout-out to Imran (I may have the name wrong) for his excellent service 👌 The service here was really good and fast. They quickly change your burned grease paper, top-up chicken soup and meet your needs as soon as requested. The food choices may not be as abundant as other buffets but its Quality over Quantity for me. Everything I tried was so good from the goji chicken, satay chicken and the MUST try beef shabu2 😍 What I love the most is you get your own soup for each of you!!! Love the Herbal Chicken and Mala!! Didn't try the others but surely its good. There's cold drinks, hot drinks, ice cream and fruits like watermelon. I highly recommend you guys to try JING from the excellent service and good food and OH THE AMBIANCE IS SO HOME-Y. Thank you for the awesome time JING.

Great variety of food. Meat are very well marinated and full of flavour. Soup base are tasty too. Could probably improve with the lighting to aid with better view for the bbq portion. But overall very comfy ambience. Thumbs up to the staff for their warm service. Special mention to Irfan in particular for having such immaculate service with proper etiquette while serving us. Definately improved our experience. 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.

The food was decent, but I would have preferred more options, such as fried food and kid-friendly dishes. The meat was quite tough, making it difficult to eat, especially for children and those with braces. When asked, there were no scissors or kid-friendly cutlery available. The food selection was very limited, and in terms of pricing, it felt quite expensive. Kudos to Irfan for taking the time to ask the customer for feedbacks

We patronised Jing back when they were in Eastpoint. Came back here for birthday celebrations at the new restaurant. Meat marinades were fabulous. Taste were on point. Service was great, staff were attentive. Good variety of food, drinks and ice cream. Their Mala soup needs improvement. My "Level 3- Mala" soup was bland, slightly hot, had not much mala taste. Lacking in the strong Mala soup and broth we had back in Eastpoint. However, aside from this, will definitely be back in the future

As a avid Hotpot lover, I've always enjoyed good soup base and fresh ingredients for hot pot. This place has it all with good ambience. Granted the food selection is still work in progress now since they've just opened up from back when they were in Simei, I think this place will continue to be my wife and I's go to place for a hot warm meal at night. Been a big fan since Eastpoint Mall, and boy Jing does not disappoint. Wide variety of delectable proteins and hearty broths. A fav of my old man since the restaurant's early days. Wasnt informed that top up for soup was changeable for the same flavour. FOC for chicken soup only. Drink dispenser was just dispensing plain water instead of the flavour. Maybe just an unfortunate one time incident. Other than that, the mala soup was very tasty and seasoning for meat/chicken was on point. Also, It would be great to inform diners to place empty plates on either side of the table to be collected back instead of having the server come every 10 mins asking the same question.

I have been patronizing them since the 1st time they open at easpoint mall and were ran by the chinese muslim couple. That was before covid. I think they sold off the business to someone else because the standard drop so much now. -sauce bar was terrible. They use to serve sesame sauce like DTF but now its thick sesame paste. Please replace it with tahini for a better sauce consistency. And why is it served in tiny bowls🤦‍♀️ -why so many people behind the kitchen but barely any service staff on the actual floor? When it was ran by the chinese muslim couple,theres only 2 in the kitchen and the rest of the service staff is at the front,cleaning tables or clearing plates. -waited a good 10mins before my grill were prepared with paper and soup came. My table was not set up with bowls and utensils and i had to grab them from the table beside. - they really need to add more lighting. Like why am i eating in the dark? This is a steamboat hotpot leh. I need to see what I am grilling. This isnt some fine dining served with cooked food. -cumin mutton and lemongrass chicken is nice. Please replace the tongs to something abit more proper. Like that tiny skinny tongs are for shabu shabu. -soup is ok,taste the same. -they use to have a freaking large selection of items of the soup. But now why like that? So little? Might as well i pay abit more for seoul garden. They really need to step up. The chinese muslim couple build this amazing tip top brand but sadly it seems that it was sold to somebody who has no experience running a business. They use to replace seoul garden just based on their sauces and food selection but not anymore.

Went with friends. Was so so. Not alot of variety of food. The bamboo clams looked good but upon eating, contained so much sand that I had to keep spitting it out. The fish was good though. I liked the beancurd skin. Tomato soup base was ok only.

Food and buffet spread were pretty good. The marinated meats were very tasty and they had a nice selection. Definitely wouldn't consider some of the soup flavors "authentic" but they were pleasant, even if a little salty. Nice quiet ambience. The vents don't really work, however, and I left smelling of BBQ haha. The service is lackluster however, with inattentive staff. I had to constantly walk over to the staff who were constantly on their phones to get any kind of assistance so that was a bit unfortunate.

Halal grill and hotpot. There was a good selection of meats, vegetables and other hotpot items like seafood meatballs and various seafood and they all tasted good quality for the price to me. The meats were well-marinated and tasted as described, unlike some other places where different marinaded meats are colored differently but tastes almost the same. The marinated meats were all delicious grilled, especially the the satay-flavored meats which were amazing. Can request for additional servings but the first serving was already quite generous. Hot and cold drinks were free-flow too. Finally, the sauces looked like the ones from other hotpot places of renown, and one can mix and add different ingredients to get the flavour profile one prefers. The lunch meet-up with friends whom I’d not met in a long time due to COVID. Am very grateful to the manager / boss for letting us stay on after our 90mins were up and continue catching-up. Had a really awesome and meaningful time here. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

ventilation is critical with a grill and any number of cooking pots. we had a corner table with very little ventilation which set us all off coughing in turn. I usually just pay and never quibble but the prices - nah. selection - the place being halal I won't comment. staff learn some manners and be gracious and diplomatic especially when 3 of us were eating and 1 was unwell but came for the company. in the end we paid for 4 buffets don't bother with the satay chicken and beef (was it?) the marinade doesn't go at all well with the broths nor the sauces (maybe you aren't supposed to hotpot them- who knows) I am sure that for its niche it is awesome. go elsewhere for the real deal. family dinner outing cos our helper starts fasting tomorrow hence the choice. I have a feeling the response to this will be defensive and justifying. so be it. sorry no photos.
