Food is good. Design of the stall is very modern but unfortunately payment mode doesn’t match their image — strictly cash (& CDC voucher) only, doesn’t even accept PayNow…

Took a bit of searching to find the place since there were two coffee shops in Block 450, but at 7:30 Pm on a Saturday, there was great variety. With three sizes, S, M, & L and prices spelt out clearly, it was easy to select dishes to suit one’s appetite. Generous portions and very delicious. Will definitely visit when I’m at Clementi next!!

It is a vegetarian mixed vegetable rice stall. There are a variety of dishes on offer. Some that I have tried include: 1. Popiah ($1) each - The filling is still quite crunchy, but unfortunately the skin is rather oily and sometimes, not that crispy anymore. 2. Curry vegetable. The curry is good - fragrant and not too spicy. The curry is only made up of cabbage (bao cai) and several cut pieces of tau pok. 3. Braised mushroom. The mushrooms (xiang gu) are well-braised with a tasty braising liquid. 4. Sweet and sour mock meat. The mock meat texture is quite enjoyable, with the meat on the denser side. The sauce, unfortunately, is rather too sweet. More sourness would have made it better. They also sell zhai e (mock goose/fried seasoned beancurd skin). It goes at $3 a pack. It is well seasoned, but sometimes slightly oily and not too crispy. Nevertheless, it is a good and convenient vegetarian option.
