We had an amazing experience celebrating our wedding anniversary at Kinki Restaurant. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and the service was impeccable. A special shoutout to Prem, who went above and beyond to make our evening special. From welcoming us with champagne and a complimentary dessert to handling our feedback on the Lobster Pao Fan with professionalism, his attention to detail was top-notch. The food overall was great. While the Lobster Pao Fan was a bit bland for our taste, Prem graciously waived it off the bill. AC/DC Dynamite is a must-try—perfectly flavourful and satisfying. Highly recommend Kinki Restaurant for special occasions or a nice night out. We’ll definitely be back!

Happy Hour Magic and Culinary Delights! One-for-one drinks during Happy Hour? Yes, please! The house white was delightful—no regrets at all. Now, let's talk food. The Tai Truffle Carpaccio? Absolute must-have! The ACDC Dynamite? Rocked our taste buds! And don't even get me started on the Korobuta Miso Belly Nigiri—pure perfection. The sake paired perfectly with every dish we ordered. Of course, we overindulged (who wouldn't?), but our happy bellies were worth it. We polished off everything on the plate, just the 2 of us 😆 Oh, and the Caramel Lava Cake? Heaven in dessert form. I'll definitely be back soon!

Great view of the bay and the weather was perfect. Our server, Lovely, was lovely. 🙈 But seriously, she was very attentive, friendly and accommodating. The food and drinks were great except for the Geisha-rita, their version of Margarita, which was a tad too sour for our liking.

Went for a birthday lunch on a Monday. It was very busy and noisy, and it was so cold in restaurant (I think I was sitting directly under an air con unit). We were seated quickly but then kept waiting quite a while to order and receive drinks. However, when the food came it was worth the wait. Very fresh sashimi and delicious Japanese dishes within the set lunch menus. One waiter at the end noticed the birthday balloon and very kindly offered us a lovely shot of some kind of plum wine.

The food overall was really good, we had the foie gras chawanmushi, unagi claypot and the Cowabanga. All three items were really good and would definitely recommend. We also ordered cocktails, Calpis Colada and the Purple Light. But we were most impressed with the service given by Prem, he service was really good and we had a pleasant time here for a birthday dinner.

My second time for the Saturday bottomless brunch, it’s one of the best priced boozy brunches (and available on Saturday!!). I tried their sake on my first time and prosecco more recently. The food options are more than enough and the views are amazing. The noise volume towards the end of brunch shows that people are happy :)

Came here on a Friday evening to celebrate a friend's birthday. We had made a reservation for 6.15pm so it was still quite empty when we got there. The place started to fill up after 7pm. The service was great. They were pretty attentive but there were times they just forgot to refill our green tea. Food is very good. However this place is on the pricey side. Good place if you want a fancy date.

He even let me and my friend try different types of umeshu, which was a pleasant surprise! He definitely made the night and overall experience better!

I came here for a lunch with my friends. Thankfully we made a reservation as the place was full when I arrived. The servers were not friendly and quite frankly I was disappointed with the service rendered by the servers. After our meal was finished, and we were chatting, no one bothered to top up our water. The only time anyone was friendly to us was when we were leaving. Service aside, this is a good place if you would like to have a great waterfront view. Food was of a good standard. I had the spicy salmon which was not spicy at all. The salmon was very fresh. I enjoyed the food. According to my lunch date, the beef was done perfectly. So if you can withstand nonchalant service, this would be a pretty nice place for a meal. Price wise, we paid approximately $150 for 3 sets for lunch.

We started at the rooftop bar, ordering some drinks and gyoza. The view was awesome but the music was too loud. Dinner was a disappointment. We were served the cooked food:grilled pork and wagyu beef first instead of sashimi. The rolls came after and followed by the premium sushi . Grilled pork is pretty normal but the wagyu beef is tough and it actually smells. Sakura Salad is not great too. The rolls that contain salmon also tasted fishy. I think we ordered Ac/DC dynamite, golden age and a beef roll. If you really want to try, order the AC/DC and beef roll. Most of the sashimi also tasted fishy and the serving size is also quite a dismal. Overall, there's not much of service unless you ask for it. The view is great but the overall experience is like eating foodcourt japanese food but 4x the price. 4.3 rating on google is overrated.

I had my proposal at kinki. When I first called kinki to make a reservation and inform them that I wanted to plan a simple proposal there and ask for advice. Instead of asking me what I want, which is most restaurant default answer, kinki shocked me with "if I can find time to head down to their restaurant they can sit down and discuss with me." I did get in touch with their manager, amirul. Kinki tried their best to fulfill whatever request I had. Everything was super smooth and went as planned. I just want to let others know, if you want to plan a proposal, kinki is a good choice. The food, ambiance and view are fantastic. Most importantly their service is top notch. Every single staff are helpful and attentive. Lastly special thanks to Amirul for all the helps, follow up, planning and more.

Nice place with good service. Came here with wife for anniversary and belated birthday. Prem served us and was very kind to offer a complimentary dessert. He spent time to explain to us the dishes and was attentive. Overall, the food was good and worth the money. The only slightly underwhelming dish was the Unagi Claypot. As for the Cowabunga, it was delightful to the tastebuds. Ume Buta Belly was also worth the calories. Overall, a good pleasant dining experience.

I accept that the night view is really nice, especially the Marina Bay view at night, but there's not much else to see. The food was delicious, and I liked it. The staff provided excellent service too. We didn't order a lot of dishes because we were already full from another place and just wanted to chat. Next time, I'll order more dishes and review them again :))

The ambience was kind of different from what I would have expected (maybe because of the lunch crowd on weekday), but the seat arranged for us was pretty scenic. Unagi claypot does no have the chinese claypot kind of taste, so it deviates a little from my expectation. But the processing of unagi is brilliant. The steak is somewhat mediocre and the beef sushi lacks speciality too. I would want to have a taste of sashima the next time i come. Oh yes, serving can be more generous too!

Plus the night view when the sun goes down makes it super chill! How we got there: - go to Raffles Place MRT, Exit A - go to The Arcade building, Level 2 - cross the bridge OUE link - go down the escalator and turn right - see Customs House white building - walk all the way in on the left and take lift to level 2 restaurant.

A chic Japanese restaurant cum bar. The lighting set a great evening mood for drinks and dine-in, ideal for groups and dates. The bay view complemented the experience well. The premium sashimi set was fresh and pretty good but on the pricier side. Wagyu garlic teppanyaki was well seasoned. Drinks were reasonably priced, including their selection of sake. I'm rating lower for customer service because they totally forgot my sake order. The staff looked pretty young and couldn't sell that well when I asked for recommendations.

Wife choose this place for my birthday lunch. The buffet menu is quite huge. By the way it’s ala carte so quality of food is ensured. They only prepare the food once you placed order. It’s a pity we couldn’t get the table near the window with view of MBS. Some of the staff I feel do not have much experience in the service line from the way they take order and keep forgetting orders. One of the staff came over and informed us of the lunch session last order. I told them to refill my tea. Yes you read right refilling of tea is included in last order. Guess what? The staff forgotten and when I reminded her, she tell me last order timing over. She didn’t even apologise and this clearly show she clearly forgotten my request or she just can’t be bothered and want out of the place asap. Oh by the way we are not the last table as there are many other big groups still chit chatting inside.

Luckily I got a window seat! I made a reservation and there are always plenty of seats for lunch on weekdays. Weekend dinners tend to sell out quickly haha. But I think the evening will be much prettier. Everything is good, but the eel rice bowl was too salty ㅠㅠ I asked for white rice and barely ate it. And they don't accept cash ㅠㅠ I paid the bill and took it out, but they only accepted the card.
