Finally get to try this restaurant today while toddler went to school. Love the decor in the restaurant and how all the staff greeted you politely when entering the restaurant. As we went for brekkie, so the choice of food is not as extensive as lunch but make selection easy. Ordered the eggs Benedict and croquet marcel. Halfway thru our meal, the friendly operation manager (sorry I didn’t really get to see the name tag) check on us on how’s the food. I really love the egg Benedict as the mushroom go so well with the bread and sauce, but I told her that I wish the egg yolks are more runny. Immediately, she offered to change a new eggs for me but I decline as I didn’t want to waste the current egg and doubt I’m able to stomach in more egg 😂 Their service recovery is really good. For the food and service, I’ll definitely be back again!! Highly recommend their eggs Benedict. Their toasted bread used for their main is really good. The croissant wasn’t to my liking but the main dishes are a hit. Thankful for such an enjoyable breakfast today.

We visited Merci Marcel on 22 May which was a PH for breakfast. There was no vacant table when we walked in about 10am. There were a few ahead of us as we were in line of the QR code queue system.Luckily the wait was not too long and Charline who received us at the entrance showed us to our table. She was warm and welcoming.The seating area was limited and we had the indoor corner table with couch seats. It was quite small space which fits merely the 2 of us with our stuff.Jurilyn, the female staff patiently responsed to our enquiries while taking our order and food was served within a reasonable amount of waiting time. We ordered the smoked salmon burger and benedict eggs. The smoked salmon burger could do with a bit more butter or spread as it was a bit dry. The only flaw was that the payment was made via our mobile and we needed a print out receipt however it took quite long to retrieve the bill via the POS system and when it was finally printed, the printing was faint. The management might want to look into that. However keep it going service team. Cheers.

Came on a Monday afternoon and although it was quite full, service was very efficient. I must say, the food really exceeded my expectations. I didnt know what to order as it was my first time here, but all of them turned out great! The Ravioles de Royans was my favourite. I would totally come back again.

I’ve been here countless times and can confirm that this cafe has amazing food! Their ravioles de royans is so cheesy, cheese lovers will definitely love this. I’ve never had a ravioli this good before. I enjoy having the saucisson sec on the side because it balances out the cheesiness of the ravioli. The creme brulee here is amazing as well! It comes with a nice, sweet and salty toffee biscuit. Matcha latte is also pretty good. Whenever I’m in Orchard, I always dine here. The service here is also quite good. Do take note that not all of their outlets have the same offerings. I once had the creme brulee at a different outlet and it was served differently and didn’t taste as good.

Booking required for better experience. Tried their best seller ravioli and flambee. Both is good especially the ravioli. Will be back to try the others. Croissant is nice and buttery but too small for the price paid. Same goes for the pain au chocolat.

Efficient and very kind service crew (thanks Jasmine for taking care of us). If you’re ordering the ribeye with the scene-stealing fries, do consider ordering it rarer than your usual as it’s a thinner cut. Creme brûlée had the perfect caramel crust to custard ratio. Lovely ambience — try to request for the table overlooking the perfectly manicured lawn of the Thai embassy .

One of the best options for brunch and breakfast in the area,, fresh ingredients,, helpful staff,, we requested to have all toppings on the side but if you don’t the presentation is really appealing., some tables are not the comfortable for dining but it is ok for coffee and small bites ,, the coffee was too strong for my liking

The 2nd time in merci marcel orchard.. came in here on fri night to have dinner w ex colleague.. we didnt make a booking but managed to have a seat on the bar. Love the ambience day and night is as nice.. had the classic white wine and it was really good normally will only drink red. I has a beef burger and my friend had the duck.. food was okay. A great place to meet up w friends for food or drinks..

Merci Marcel Orchard - Love the France vibes here. Staffs were friendly and observant to our needs. Food served was absolutely delicious, especially their beef burger. On the other hand, the Corque Marcel wasn't that good. It had the strange sour taste, I reckon it was the type of cheese used. So do have that in mind if you aren't a big cheese lover. Location is convenient, just at the front of Palais Renaissance Mall. Merci Marcel has a bar table, low armchair leather seats, high rattan chairs and an outdoor dining style. Liked it here 😊

Aesthetically pretty and pleasing, but the food was a bit of a hit or miss. The grilled eggplant and ceviche were decently tasty, but the smoked haddock salad had very little seasoning and tasted bland. So go for the ambience and experience rather than the food.

Table for 1 please! Had a peaceful and wholesome brunch by myself. The environment was very warm and welcoming. Coffee was good. My absolute fave would be the truffle mayonnaise, that was a wonderful surprise. Prices may be steep for some. Worth the try

Ordered the: Croque Marcel Homemade Truffle Fries Ravioles de Royans Mix of 3 Cheeses Platter Favourite dishes were the rough cut homemade truffle fries & Ravioles! Truffle fries were super crispy but at the same time the inside was soft! mayo was nice as well!! the Ravioles was very very creamy, but i enjoyed that the Ravioles were smaller and had little pockets of cheese! First time having the cheese platter & it was an interesting experience. Glad to be able to taste the different notes & glad that the service staff patiently explained the different cheeses to us!

Right off the bat, the staff was extremely courteous and friendly in welcoming us. The place looks gorgeous and had great ambience. The food tastes great. The crossaints were buttery and fluffy, the ravioli was a lot smaller in size (usually I expected large pieces of ravioli, this place serves it in small pieces), but the taste was perfect. Great place to have brunch and I'll definitely come again!

Came here for dinner on Sunday. You can park at Palau’s Renaissance itself. Entry is at the back of the building. Do note that parking charges are higher here. The building behind is cheaper. Ambience is wonderful and welcoming. The deco is beautiful too. There are indoor and outdoor seatings. We decided to kickstart our night with a bottle of Prosecco which was yums and cold cuts - Bayonne ham 👍. But after which it’s a downhill for us. - The breaded chicken breast tempura was bland & the tomato pineapple dip was so so. - Grain- fed angus beef: No wonderful aroma of the meat to entice us and the taste was average. - Pan seared squid with clams & buttery mashed potatoes - average, the buttery mashed potatoes is nice thou. - the Saucisse de Toulouse pork sausage is nice. Dessert - Chocolate cake was not well baked. You can see the unevenness of the bake. Nothing to wow about Passion fruit Mousse is well made. The mousse was very smooth & taste was good.

Flat Whites were yummy with pretty coffee art like the ones we get in Melbourne! Mafaldine was al dente; Tarte flambée was thin and crispy but would be lovelier if some sort of spice was added. Will return when I am next back in Singapore.

The place is open until 12am, but the last order is around 1030. The vibe is definitely the reason why people come to this place. It was very chill and you can talk for hours here. But the food is surprisingly good. And the price is quite reasonable We ordered - beef steak - impossible burger - ravioli pasta (one of the best pasta that I've tried, it was creamy and the cheese makes it better. Will come here again just for this)

Overall a great place with good coffee and excellent, simple food. We were a bit surprised by the small breakfast menu when we arrived but it did not disappoint. All the food was excellent, good flavor depth and good portions. For the price we were happy with what we experienced. The outdoor seating is nice and the overall service was great as well. Had a lovely Saturday brunch at Merci Marcel Orchard with warm hospitality and nice yummy food. Choose to sit outdoors instead and enjoy the nice lovey breeze. We had the croissant (ask for butter!), pancakes, the chia seed pudding, and the poached eggs avo toast. A delightful experience. Highly recommand for a romantic food place, great ambience and awesome customer service, all the staff know their dishes very well and provided awesome recommendations. One of the must buy dishes will be definitely be the thin crust pizza 😍 Many liked the ravioli but but not very outstanding for me personally.

To all restaurateurs, if you were really serious about offering a top class service and yet maximised returns. You can take reference from this cafe. A generous two hours dining time, about 40% seats allocated to walk-in customers, waiting staffs who not only served professionally with a smile but really treated you like a customer and of course, delicious foods. My top pick would be the Ravioles de Royans. The cheese filled pasta dish really whet my appetite. The half saucisson (sausage) was a very delightful cold cut companion which was served together with warm bread. The latte was a nice surprise with beautifully drawn latte art which we had plenty of time to enjoy.

Very chill ambience with gorgeous decor. Very friendly staff. The food and cocktails were delicious, I have been here on several occasions and try something different each time. All amazing! This place may be slightly more expensive than the average café, but the quality of food here is certainly not average at all and never disappoints. The baked goods deserve a special mention as well, some are from my fave bakery (Tiong Bahru Bakery) 👌🏼 definitely one to revisit.

Easily one of best French restaurant in Singapore. Stumbled upon it when searching for place for dinner while waiting for my girlfriend to finish her facial jn Palais Renaissance. Googled before went in and ended up ordering croque monsieur, rosemary infused chicken based on staff recommendation. Croque monsier is superb! Bread very crispy indeed. Chicken comes next, just as good as the formal. We opt for creme brulee and chocolate crepe as dessert. Cloth of them are simply awesome to end the dinner, not to mention they are not sweet to begin with. Staff very friendly, constantly check in on us to ask for the food. Had some conversation with them and got some good recommendation on food. Food 5 star, service 5 star, speed of food being served 5 star. What can I say? Definitely will go back to try different food in the menu, you should too!! But remember to book as is pretty popular though.

Very pretty place. The prices are steep but the food is good and the coffee was decent. It was slightly difficult eating as they sat my group down at a Low table and it was not big enough to comfortably hold ALL our food. Overall, decent food and coffee with excellent decor. If you’re willing to spend a bit more on your brunch, I recommend booking ahead of time in order to get a good table.

This is a French-style restaurant located in the Orchard shopping district. Various tropical totems, retro and modern furniture complement each other, uniquely bringing an authentic French experience to Singapore. Drink a cup of coffee here in the morning and enjoy the delicious food. For brunch, you can curl up comfortably on the sofa and enjoy the bohemian atmosphere while enjoying wine or cheese. The interior is full of artistic decoration and full of life. This time I ordered Benedict eggs / Poached eggs. The meal was exquisite and the portion was sufficient. The bacon was crispy and the mushrooms themselves were rich and delicious. It was a very special experience when paired with golden latte. The service attitude is very good, friendly and does not disturb the meal. I would like to try afternoon tea or dinner next time. The furniture and daily necessities store next door also sells some high-quality products. If you want to decorate your home, you can come here to have breakfast and then browse visit.
