1st time here - great dining experience ! Lots of chicken pieces (two drumsticks selection) inside my hotpot. The place was Long queue but I believe yummy food is worth the wait! Friendly auntie served and billed us but the rest of the food is self-service -u take what u like to drink and eat( too much selection and cannot decide what to eat) . Enjoy the spiciness and most importantly the food is fresh. I love this place-no MSG!

it's comforting food by the road side 1 gets 2 choose between 2 versions of hotpot. black sauce version or clear herbal version both are equally good. there's been an improvement on the quality of the chicken, it's bigger n juicy now in cimparison to the past smaller n dry chicken pieces of cuz the price increase as well haha other then the pot chicken, there's a variety of side dishes you may choose to put into the pot, albeit not a very wide variety.

Love their chicken pot! Very fragrant and a big pot can easily feed a family of 4 or 5. The only problem is parking, but you can park across the road at Stars of Kovan condo.

First try and its good, better than those in shopping mall. Always long queue so must go early. Portion is big, the smallest is half chicken. You can choose the spiciness and add ingredients like instant noodles, fried beancurd, chinese cabbage and mushrooms.

Mild soup gets spicier and spicier as you eat, but it’s so shiok! The potato noodles goes very well with the soup too, still chewy despite being left in the soup for a long time. Do come early as a queue starts to form after 7pm.

Food was great, good variety, the place wasn't as comfortable as some other hot pot places, but the soup base was indeed nice. I know this isn't a place that specialises in service, still it would be nice if the staff is a bit more friendly. Also, as soon as I started eatting, I immediately associate the food with drinking dou jiang, wish they had that, so bring your own ;)

Not sure what the fuss is all about from all the negative comments here. I have been eating here for 5 years. The service has always been above average. The food is not cheap but the portions are pretty generous. The place is small, so expect to queue during peak dining hours. Its my favourite chicken pot stall for sure.

Has been going the chicken claypot place for years. We love it, the soup based is always good and tasty. The mature service crew are always friendly and prompt. Tried the similar chicken pot further down the road, it was awful, the soup base has very little herbal taste, we felt it was mostly just based on soy sauce.

Finally, I managed to taste this Chinese dish - Qi Wei Chicken Claypot. The taste is very interesting to explore. Some say liked bakkut teh, some say liked pepper soup, some say liked szechuan soup. S$29.90 for half chicken and enough for 4/5 people with white rice.

Tried many chicken pot around singapore. My favorite vote goes to this shop. Winner by a mile for it’s unique taste. Really damn shiok when it continues to boil, your broth gets thicker & thicker & more flavorful. But pricing wish is slightly on the high side though. And is usually quite crowded. But will be back for more definable!

Although there is no winter in Singapore, Cantonese people still want to have a pot of chicken! Probably because they have been in Guangdong for too long, they want to eat chicken in November. The signature Qiwei Chicken is so delicious to my taste, it tastes salty and sweet, and I can’t help but eat an extra bowl of rice! The medicated chicken soup is delicious and has a rich herbal aroma. It is a must-try for health enthusiasts! There are many choices of chicken pot and a lot of dishes. It is very popular. I will try other ones next time😋

I went to the store for dinner last weekend. It was a peak hour on weekends and I had to queue up. The clerk was very considerate in introducing the soups. My favorites were the herbal chicken pot and the pork belly chicken pot. The portions in each pot were generous! Great for gatherings!

This restaurant is located in Kovan District. The chicken pot tastes good, but for some reason the soup becomes sweeter after boiling. It seems like a lot of sugar has been added.
