In the same location but now offering a different cuisine, this spot has made a bold shift from serving assorted grilled fish to Cantonese claypot dishes. We loved that all the hot dishes were served in claypots, keeping the food warm throughout the meal. The flavors were unique yet had a comforting, home-cooked quality—very flavorful and satisfying. Love the simple and elegant design of the new layout only hoping the staff can be more proactive and friendly when serving the food. We’ll definitely be back to try more dishes!

Grilled fish was quite good. Got kids meal but only 1 choices. It would be better if they offer better or at least 2 selection for the kid. Overall a good place for a meal and chit chatting.

Came here after spending a day in USS and we were STARVINGGG!! So glad this place satisfied us so well. I've tried the raffles city outlet and this was as good or maybe slightly better. Fish was big and fresh and the mala taste was well balanced. Loved their cold pork belly salad which cleared our rice instantly. Mushroom was fine, though i was expecting shitake mushroom not shimejj 😅 Drinks were nice with little boba pop inside. Overally very happy meal!

A great place to have quality fish grilled and served with your sauce of choice, optional toppings for veggies and meat, and a variety of side dishes. There are multiple options for the spice-level to choose from. Paired with rice, the fresh fish and sauce is satisfying on a rainy or cooler day. Service is friendly and the ambience has a matching oriental theme, completing the experience. The sour plum drink is also a good accompaniment to balance the spiciness with something refreshing. The serving portion of each tray of fish is recommended for sharing between 2 to 4 people.

The food we ordered were very special. They may look ordinary but it tastes good. The only downside was portion were little. Serving was quite fast except the vegetables came late as they only cooked all the vegetables at one go for others We will come again for dishes again

Generally I don't eat this kind of dish, but had the pork ball prawn ball mixian, it was not bad. Just something I would like to eat when I'm feeling abit under the weather: lightly seasoned, fresh ingredients and brothy. A bit pricey for what it offers but something that could be difficult to find in Singapore.

I've visited this place 3 times, and loved all my 3 dining experiences. Food is awesome. Have had the sea bass in both green pepper and garlic flavours. In my last visit, I was alone so I could not eat a whole fish on my own and decided to try their Liang Pi and Saliva Chicken. So satisfying. I wished I tried this place much earlier. So good!

A first time patron to Riverside Grilled Fish at Vivocity. Let me begin by saying that I'm not a huge fan of fish related dishes. We ordered the Signature Fragrant Spicy Sauce 香辣味 (Sea Bass). Sauce was mild spicy, wasn't salty as I had expected it to me and was simply tasty. Fish was not dry but of a right consistency. To put it, the texture is just right that I don't have to chew too long. Order the sesame glass noodles, was quite appetizing, it opened our taste buds. Total price paid for a 3 pax meal rounds up to $100 odd. Reasonable and affordable. Ambiance of the place was comforting and the air conditioning wasn't cold. Customer service wise, I give it a thumbs up. Staff was observant to the customer's need. They are polite and would promptly attend to you.

It's our first time trying this dish. It was good. The sauce was nice and unique taste. Not too spicy ended up asking for cut Chilli padi on the side. Service was fast. We would definitely come back again to try the different flavors.

Shiok! I ordered 'Homemadr Fragrant Sauce fish, less spicy', it is a mix of sweet and sour, very nice! There arent much condiments on top of the fish. Personally, I am very weak with anything with a sour taste, so i like it at first, but at the end i think it is too much for my taste buds. The minced meat is a bit salty but still, very tasty!

Promoting grilled fish at $29.90, worth the value and enough to serve 4 of us. Added with roasted chicken and side dishes. Nice ambience for lunch and the fish taste ok. No queue during lunch so can easily walk in. Their calamansi juice is really potent to help digestion.

Their fish was excellent!! Super fresh and beautiful texture. Tried black bean sauce, was not bad, but would try ma la spicy one next time. Their wonton soup w la mian was not bad; the la mian texture is very bouncy and tasty! Just a pity they ran out of the special sauce. It’s has been a long time our family has queued 1 hour for dinner (probably becoz it’s Sat and CNY is just 2 weeks away), and this time the food at Riverside Grilled fish did not disappoint. The chilled garlic pork really stimulates our appetite. The Patin fish was fresh and the non spicy fragrant sauce was thick with right amount of saltiness. Good spiciness in the claypot tofu, though kids may not like it. Overall a comfortable dinning experience, with much customer service.

There are 4types of fish u can choose. The flavour also alot to choose. We had the green pepper flavour. The taste nice. It had more flavour if compared Tanyu.. the side dishes need to add on but the amount given is quite a lot..

Chance upon it while walking around and decided to give it a try. Not much service as you order through IPad, the food took a good 8-15mins and the flavours were ok. The downside for me is the aircon doesn’t feel as cold and the dining area acoustic isn’t been well thought about. Not a bad place for sure, try it if you have the craving and within the area.

Pleasant place to eat 重庆烤鱼. Casual dining atmosphere with reasonably priced lunch deals. There was a $29.90 lunch deal for 2 pax, which includes a fish, 2 bowls of rice and 2 drinks. They had various fish to choose from, and different soup bases to pick from. Suggest going in groups, as there are many other side dishes to share. The service staff are also very helpful.

Waiter check and submitted the order on our behalf. after 1/2 hr, we check on our order with another staff- she says the order was not submitted. She helped to submit our order again. No service recovery, received the food after an hr wait :( Food was fine.

We like to compliment the high service standard of a staff (in black shirt, but no name tag) who attended to us last night. We ordered grilled fish with sweet fish fragant flavour but turned out to be too sweet for our liking. To ease the sweet taste hopefully, we requested add on some green pepper chilli. The staff is very helpful, he approached us to understand the issue and offer to change to another flavour (fish unchanged, of cos 😅) we are pleasantly surprised by his kind suggestion. As it took some time to do this, he came to our table to update us on the progress. We are delighted with this his initiative. This will always be our favourite dining place.

first visit, and oh my, the food is excellent and huge! definitely a place to consider if you have big appetite people in the group. for small eaters will recommend just sticking to their fish and a few sides to mix. their spicy one seems to be the ‘to go to’ but the black bean we have is also a delight. :)

Fantastic mala fish that are soft, fragrant and tongue numbing. Great for people who like spicy Szechuan food. We also like to do takeaway order for their cold spicy noodles with chicken and a few other skewered as well. Although a price is slightly on higher side this was a satisfying meal.

Quite a nice place for a family meal. Went few times. Mostly positive experience.The pickled veg grilled fish is nice. And there is the option for non-spicy. We tried the grilled fish in a non-spucy dark sauce previously. Not as nice. The queue can b very long during weekends. Service is ok but not overtly friendly. Think maybe not enough wait staff during peak period

My friends and i visited the Vivo outlet on 22 Dec. Darren is very patient and meticulous in serving our table. He is attentive in taking care of our requests and replied courteously. He will clear our table and plates when the table is full. It is a wonderful dining experience because of his excellent customer service.

The grilled fish and glutinous rice cakes taste really good, but a bit expensive, costing SGD 106 for three people. The dumplings are so-so. If you have a small appetite, there is no need to order them. Green vegetables are not recommended, they taste bad and the price is high.

I stopped by while passing by and it was really delicious. As for the main dish, you can choose fish, sauce, and sides in that order, just like ordering malatang. You can also add rice and noodles as appropriate. The waiter was really friendly. If I made a mistake with my order, he immediately canceled it and guided me through everything.
