Really authentic Italian restaurant hidden within a school campus, and price is quite affordable too!! Pizzas are a must try, thin crust so it's not too filling, good for sharing. Ordered the truffle one which was yummy!! One of the best I've had. Pastas too are made in-house, so texture is really good too!! Tiramisu and gelato are also both musthave desserts. Will definitely be back! And the restaurant manager, Jim, is super welcoming to all his guests, and very helpful. Hard to encounter such service nowadays.

on the higher end for Utown, but relatively cheap for italian food ($9-15) the tomyam seafood pasta can be passed, had a sour taste but not really tomyam flavour. but al dente pasta and the set comes with a free drink!

Food is great! They have plenty of Vegetarian ( Asian Veg ) options to choose from the menu, and they'll even make custom pastas if you want! Bhaumikh and Jim were amazing hosts, and made us feel warm and welcomed. 6 stars just for the veg options!

Been living in Singapore for 4 years, I would say the pasta here is the best. And the Pizza is of big portion, enough for a meal. I usually visit this restaurant once 1~2 weeks. Besides, the owner Jim is very nice and friendly. Hope NUS students and staff give it a try.

tried the pepperoni pizza, hawaiian pizza, homemade tagliatelle del sapore and homemade tagliatelle alla bolognese. i think the tagliatelle bolognese is a must try! all portions are really generous, esp the beef ragu for the bolognese and the pasta is al dente :)

Great student lunch meals with pastas averaging from $7 and pizzas from $9.

Very reasonably priced Italian meals in Utown and pretty good thin crust pizzas! Happy with the taste and service was prompt and quick! Such a hidden gem! Just have to be able to find the the place amidst the huge estate of Utown. Park at Riaddy CP and short walk to restaurant.

Our favorite place on campus! I can't recommend it enough! My boyfriend and I love visiting for both lunch and dinner. The student menu is generous (includes a drink and nice sized portion) and rotates every few months. We love the owner—he is so kind and welcoming, even remembering our names. He treated us to a yummy chocolate cake slice on the house! The small complimentary candies by the register are a nice treat on the way out. Try Sapore, you won't be disappointed!

A perfect restaurant for families with young children. The mushroom soup was delightful and we got garlic bread (the size of a pizza) to go with it. The fusilli was devoured by a 5 year old. Bolognese lasagna was tasty and not too tangy. A lovely meal and we will come back for more.

Are you kidding me? Delicious Italian food at such prices and did they forget to charge for service? How did I not know about this restaurant earlier since they have been operating for 9 years, as staff Jim explained to us? Regulars probably don't want to share this hidden gem. They gave us a complimentary huge portion of olives when we mentioned our toddler son loves olives. Parking is super convenient at the "Create" building car park just beneath the restaurant. And so much space at the campus for my infant and toddler to run around. There is nothing to dislike! For families looking for great Italian food, the search ends here.

Good option for Italian food, at a reasonable price point too. There are now several good options in UTown and the NUS campus in general so I can't say it's the literal best. But it's definitely still among the best. The staff is friendly and compartment too.

The special student menu is priced very cheaply for Italian food, but the taste did not match my expectations. Even though the end total for a chicken pizza and canned Sprite was only $10.65, the experience was still not good. The tomato sauce didn't have flavor and there wasn't enough cheese. The crusty was also undercooked and doughy. Overall, 3.5 stars considering the price.

Kitchen run by an Italian, authentic and good! Skip the student pizza, rest you should be fine. Fabulous carbonara! Quiet and calm. Good place to just relax and chill out. Great service! I hope the beer is cheaper!

Best Italian restaurant in Singapore! My partner is Italian, and he had never approved of any Italian restaurant other than Sapore! We have always dined in, until the Circuit Breaker. Even so, CB could not keep us far from Sapore. Service is consistently excellent, deliveries are punctual, and the food are always of good temperature. Now to the food, 1) Spaghetti alla Carbonara (with King Shrimps) Al dente Spaghetti is lightly cloaked in creamy egg yolk, garnished with crispy bacon bits, black pepper, and bounteous amount of parmesan cheese. King Shrimps are huge and fresh, simply sweet, tender, and succulent. 2) Seafood Spaghetti Al dente Spaghetti coated in sweet tangy tomato sauce. Loaded with herbs and garlics, topped with olives and capers. Seafood are just fresh and scrumptious. Especially the squid rings, they are always well cooked. All in all, if you are wondering the taste of Italian cuisines, Sapore is it!

Sometimes the food is good - other times it falls down a bit. Sometimes the service is slow and sketchy - other times they are quick and efficient. There are better places to eat in UTown, but a lot of people like this because it is centrally located and has a lot of seating

Its an ok place to head out in the evening if you are on campus. The bella italia pizza is good, generally the pizzas are good - wood fired and fresh.

Pizza was rather bland. Truffle pasta was nice but the truffle is only on the top half of the pasta, became bland after a while too.
