Reviews of Selegie Soyabean
Ordered a few snack items of Cold Soya Milk, Soya Bean Pudding Cold and a butterfly fritter.
Cold Soya Milk was my favourite because of how beany the fragrance was and that it was mildly thick and creamy. I rate: 5/5 🌟
The Soya Bean pudding was closer to a jelly agar texture than they tao huay texture, which I liked better. Taste was pretty okay. I rate: 3/5 🌟
Butterfly fritter was sweet and very nutty from the sesame seeds. It's really pretty in shape but lacks warmth and crisp. I rate: 3.5/5 🌟
Beam curd is smooth. Normal sugar is still not sweet though. Place has ample seating area. As of 9 May 2024, the bean curd cost 1.80 and soya bean milk classic is also 1.80. there are imitation selegie and rochor out there that are not so good. I believe this one is real. Bedok road area is not wheelchair friendly
Love their beancurd and soybean drink. Their fried items are good fresh out of the fryer but be wary of those that have been sitting behind the display glass for some time.
Seats and parking are limited, area gets warm in the afternoon. Limited manpower, watch the furniture for sugary syrup stains during busy periods.
Always liked their soya bean, tried their muffins tonight for a change.

The beancurd here is definitely one of the silkiest!! I prefer this to rochor beancurd. I also like that you can ask to replace the sugar syrup with soya milk instead as i prefer my desserts less sweet.
The tang yuan also has the mochi-like texture that i like!
The fried youtiao is not as crispy as my family would have liked but all around, i love coming here for original beancurd
My go to place for beancurd! Their beancurd is one of the softest i've eaten in SG. Must eat fresh tho, if leave too long won't be soft liao.
Love the 煎推Jiandui, egg tart and of course the soya bean. Payment can be by Fave. Friendly and efficient staff. I went on Saturday, there is a queue.
The soya bean curd is very smooth silky in texture and is very tasty too. You can ask for less sugar syrup if you would like a healthy less sweet option. Add ons include traditional favourites like ginko nut, red bean, and rarely seen such as gula melaka. You can also buy soya bean drink or grass jelly drink with add on or toppings. My personal favourite is black and white which is a mix of soya bean and grass jelly. All can be served hot or cold as per personal preference... at a cheap and low price too!
Quite decent beancurd that is soft textured! Felt that tangyuan could be better if have more filling.
Enjoyed our sweet supper on satursday night: Beancurd with fresh pearls and beancurd with glutinous rice balls, both with gula malacca.
I wish I could take more the others delicious snacks in the display cabinet.
Freshly made Soya bean and grass jelly desserts
My favourite Soya bean chain. Found this outlet at Simpang Bedok, great smooth soya beancurd, as usual!
Nice place for soy drinks and 'fritters', which are buns with lotus paste or peanut butter fillings that are deep fried. The Ham somethng something is also a nice slightly salty heavy dough bun that would go great with coffee (but they do not sell coffee here). Nice place for a snack and cool or warm drink.
Staff courteous. Place clean. Soya bean smooth. Grass jelly great quality. You have the option to add toppings. Ask for half sugar will suffice. Great dessert joint!
No air conditioning, can be a little warm in the afternoon. Other than that, the drinks are nice and snacks are reasonably priced. Their fried snacks can be a little too greasy for some people.
Nice soft and silky bean curb...
Loved the beancurd! But they can't separate the sugar, need to pay additional $0.30 for an empty plastic bowl.
Can't wait to try the rest of the selection!
Original soy milk is not bad.
The soya bean milk and beancurd are consistently good. Can be a little pricey. Service is generally quite good too.
It's an okay place to be after supper along the Simpang Bedok stretch. If you're in need of some tau huay, this is probably your only go-to spot around the area. Personally find that this is not the best that I've had before, but it's passable. The entire outfit feels a little old and dated, and hiding in the corner definitely doesn't help.
Went here with my friends the other day. Not too pricey nor sweet, and the mango pudding is definitely a common favourite!
Went there when they opened at 7:30am. Nice and quiet, got parking right outside the shop, tau hway and grass jelly were ready.
Poor service. Okay soybean treats.
Decent food. Got my order wrong though. Cashier has to listen more carefully.
Great food/drink. Always friendly service and very very low price. Wont go anywhere else for beancurd!
Friendly staff, nice soy milk drink. Tried the one with black jelly. Not too sweet
Cosy joint with plenty of seating space.
Quality have dropped.... Soybean curd were not even warm even when I ordered a hot one.
Service is nothing to shout about, but delivering your tau huay fix as required is most important
Bring you back to the old kampung days. But fyi there's no HALAL cert.
Good place for snacks... smooth soya bean pudding
Not exactly nice but we just keep going back. Maybe it's just convenient and nostalgic.
Soft silky bean curd. Delicious.
My favourite! Beancurd is sooo silky😍
Nice place to get soy milk or chin chow
Price high
Consistent and always available.
Soyamilk very good
Decent place for soya bean
