Great NYC Style Pizza place. The pizza is very tasty and the staff very nice and helpful. They also have a decent choice of craft beers. They play great music too so you can hang out for a bit. Seating choice and area is a bit small but good enough to have a slice of the cheesy goodness.

Genuinely surprised that this joint is only rated 4.3 on Google. Pizza is really good. Had the pepperoni, sausage and the beef and cheese slices which were all good but the pepperoni won hands down. I'd recommend ordering a full-sized one only because the slices, when left out, might not be as fresh and so the crust might not be as crisp and fluffy as a fresh pizza. But that said, the crusts were still awesomely crispy with a nice chew on the dough. The sausage one, however, was just a little wet, perhaps from the peppers on the slice. Chicken wings were tender and crisp but just a little too undercooked inside and salty for my taste. Each slice was filling and went for $8 which was also very affordable. Very decent selection of beers too. Definitely a must try.

I had the pleasure of trying four different pizzas at this pizza place: GM, Sausage, Cheese, and Going Green. All of them were good, but my personal favorite was GM. The sausage pizza was spicy but still enjoyable. I also like how the restaurant has a great atmosphere with an American vibe.

It was a bummer that they did not have pepperoni pizza available for a slice. But their steak & pepper was legitimately good. This guy knows how to make good pizza. And the ranch with hot sauce was amazing.

One of my favorite walk-in only pizza places. They do mean NY style slices here, thin crusts and great toppings. The house ranch sauce is a must! Love dropping by to chill and have a quick bite. Standouts are definitely the GM (Good Morning) and Saigon Stunner (both pictured), but don’t sleep on the classics like Pepperoni (also pictured as 12” pizza, good for 1 hungry person) and Cheese. Meatballs here are slow cooked with lots of love and it really comes through in the richness of it all. Great selection of interesting craft beers too. The people here love their craft and it shows. Sonny and Dino are great to chat with as well. Been coming back for months, never a bad time!

Visited 31/05/2023, Wednesday hot and sunny afternoon. The following sharing are based on our unbiased personal opinion and experience Was running errands nearby this location and since it's tea break time. I walk over to this Sonny's Pizza 🍕 to grab a bite and take away at the same time. The place is located around Clarke Quay and the place can be missed of you don't pay attention enough. Everytime when I walk into this place, the interior is stuffy and air ventilation probably not as good. So dining in for me is not a good option. The pizza 🍕 are handmade and come in 2 sizes 12" and 18" other than the single slices their selling. I picked up the pepperoni 🍕 and butter chicken in half half each. Happily paid for my order and waited patiently 20 mins for my pizza to be made and ready. The pizza taste pretty decent and value for money. Staff was pretty helpful as well. Overall a good experience for me.

The toppings all went well together and didn’t taste overwhelming either⁣ ⁣ 🥩 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐤 𝐍’ 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐬𝐞 - $10⁣ Topped with beef short plate, caramelised onions, jalapeños, and cheese sauce – this low key tasted like a philly cheesesteak on a pizza, and it was soooo good! The jalapeños definitely helped to cut through some of the richness in this pizza⁣ ⁣ We also got a can of craft beer each because their huge range of beers and ciders was irresistible 😭 They ranged from $12 - $20 which is very reasonable imo. They’re just opposite Dumpling Darlings, so you can’t miss them for sure!⁣

Quite liked the pizzas as the portion size + ingredients were all good; definitely felt that my pizza cravings were satisfied for the day! The vegetarian options were done well. It is, however, not my favourite pizza crust - but this is subjective to each individual anyway! Overall a really cute place with an interesting selection of imported beers from what I saw!

Tasty pizzas! Good selection and at very reasonable price point too. Haven’t had a chance to visit NY to taste NY pizzas myself but really enjoyed the bite and mouthfeel of Sonny’s pizzas. It is soft, doughy and chewy yet not too much. They do classic flavours like Pepperoni beautifully but if you are feeling adventurous, do ask for their special flavours where they spice things up! Had the privilege to try their take on an Asian Hawaiian pizza- Aged Pineapples, Lup Cheong and Blue Cheese. It was surprisingly yummy. Can’t wait to be back to try their vegetarian pizzas.

Very casual NY-style pizza place. Prices are reasonable and pizza really good. With some local takes for those who like to try original pizza.

One of the best pizzas I’ve eaten in Singapore. The star of this is the crust - it’s crispy yet at the same time doughy enough to have a nice bite to it. The crust holds up well and doesn’t sag under all the ingredients. I’m not sure if sourdough is used but I’m happy that the crust doesn’t overpower the toppings. The ingredients are also another highlight. The pepperoni is tasty and flavourful. The cheese is also nice and stretchy. The peppers and sausage are also fresh. Good pizza, a bit more pricy but it’s worth it as the three slices you see here are as filling as a normal pizza from dominoes.

Simple and casual NY-style pizza place situated at Boat Quay. Tried 2 pizzas on a weekday evening, GM and pepperoni. Personally preferred the GM as it was uniquely delicious with the bechamel sauce and hollandaise standing out! Pepperoni was still good though, generous portion of toppings and yet not overly salty.

Despite of the “interesting “ toppings, pizza itself is just 3 stars. The reheating makes it even worse …..

My kind of place - fuss free, good food and huge selection of craft beers and bottled cocktails. Price is a little on the higher side especially for one piece ($7) but it was a proper piece of good pizza. I had their cheese and green pizza. Green pizza was absolutely amazing but I found the cheese pizza slightly too salty for my liking. Affordable prices for their craft beers and the owner very kindly offered me a testing portion of this wicked stout with 15% alcohol content. Good stuff. Will be better if if they’re not located among the shady Boat Quay joints but will brave that dodgy stretch for them!

Good, authentic NY slice. I've also had the pizza delivered which was good. NY style pizza is tough to get right - especially outside of the US and this place gets it. Staff has never been rude when I'm there. People who might think this place is gruff on service need to check their entitlement. It's a takeout joint, not a Ritz Carlton...

Love the pizza here! The portions are big for the price, and its definitely worth trying it out at least once. They have pizzas that use pork instead of beef, so that's great if you have someone who can't eat beef for reasons. Personally I'm split between the GM and Going Green pizzas for my favourite, which is something because I don't usually prefer all-vegetable pizzas over the meaty ones. Do note that if you're ordering delivery in advance, you'll want to email them directly or place an order via OddleEats - in which case you have to also email them if you want to adjust your order after placing it. They're quite quick with the replies and very helpful, but it's worth making sure your order is all there when you send it in to save you the hassle.

I'm not normally a fan of NY-style pizzas, but this was THE BOMB. Even reheated, the crust was nice and light, not too thick or chewy, and the flavours went so well together. You gotta have it with the ranch and hot honey sauce! I was skeptical about putting sauce on my pizza at first, but it really enhances the flavours. Trust me. Had the cheese and meat one, both were great, will definitely be back to try the others. It's priced very reasonably, we paid about $13 for 2-3 slices of pizza (two big pizzas shared in a group). The space is small though, so it'd be harder to fit groups of more than 8, unless you split into two tables.

Had two slices which were rather dried out and hard, maybe as I dropped by at night when the pizzas have been sitting around awhile. Really had to work those jaw muscles towards the end. But I could see how the pizzas would taste good while fresh. Also the Aircon wasn't really working, it was kinda warm.

Sonny's has been on the bucket list for a while! Odd, considering it's convenient location in clarke quay. It was the day of Pinkdot 2022 that I finally made the trip down. As the event waned, images of hot, cheesy slices were fed to my companions and they heeded the siren's call. After perusing the menu, we were informed that a fresh pizza would entail a wait. Ravenous as we were, we opted to have a reheated pizza from the counter whilst a fresh one was made and baked. The cheese pizza was (re)placed in the oven and came out piping hot. Slices were thin and crisp just the way I like em, despite being reheated it didn't sog through (unlike another pizza I had recently, keep an eye out for my review of that)! Cheese to sauce ratio was perfect, wouldn't change a thing about it. Our second white pizza came not too long after, and that one blew us away! As good as the first pizza was, nothing beats a fresh pie from the oven. It was a medley of bechamel and meat bits, albeit a short-lived one owing to its swift annihilation. Special mention to the sauces offered to us. Ranch on pizza is now a thing I do; no longer can I imagine pizza without Sonny's hot honey on the side. VERY satisfied
