Reviews of Suparakki Ramen
The Truffle dry ramen is nice and has the fragrance of truffle oil.
The soupy garlic ramen broth is aromatic n flavourful. It heartwarming slurp of hot soup with noodles on a rainy day - heaven!
Broth and noodle is great, but the chashu was a little too tough for my liking.
I would’ve given 4 stars for the food itself if not for the service rendered. The young lady tending to the cashier was keeping quiet throughout the whole time with a bored look, staring away from the customer and expected them to know if she was ready to take order, she simply stared back after a couple of seconds and tilt her head, seemingly asking what I want. Would’ve appreciated a little friendliness, her attitude was completely different when talking to her colleague, smiling and laughing all the time.
A small food place for ramen. 3 type of soup base only. The noodle and soup taste good. Service was fast but the place small and the owner try to squeeze in too many customer. Basically you are sitting with your elbow touching each other.
Ramen here is affordable, yet overall all three bowls were too salty. Enjoyed the flavours, but wish that it was more well-balanced. Eggs were not runny and presented well. Worth to note that the place is very small and waiting time for seats during lunch time was quite long.
Located next to 九鲜 on B2 level. Newly opened ramen restaurant that has one of the cheapest ramen around. Reminds me of takagi ramen but with a bit more meat for their lowest priced item. Thinly sliced char siu didn’t give a satisfying bite but it’s expected for that price. The broth is the main draw. It’s so milky, I wonder if they actually added milk. The egg was nicely cooked but didn’t have extra flavouring. Recommended for a quick ramen fix but if you want chunky meat, then you may have to go elsewhere. And if you are big eater, add noodles.
Gyoza was average and you may want to skip that.
Was drawn to this place cause it's always busy w queues and crowds so i thought I'd try it out someday. Ordered the original tonkatsu and black garlic ramen. The broth was super thick and flavorful. The egg is perfectly done. It's too good to be true fr how much a bowl actually cost. Though the gyoza could do better. Will definitely return again fr the noodle!!
Broth is good. Serving size can be little for a guy but just nice for ladies. Shop is quite cramp. Affordable and tasty ramen. Recommend to come in small groups.
Affordable and delicious ramen. Staff are quite friendly but can be a little irate especially if the restaurant is crowded. I would recommend taking out, as I did because the restaurant has a very limited number of seats and there are many people during mealtimes. Both the original tonkotsu and the dry truffle ramen are delicious! Just the right texture of noodles and flavour and saltiness of broth.
Good value, but limited seating. A good place to go to satisfy a quick tonkotsu ramen craving at an affordable price point.
Love the both soup and dry ramen. Soup base can be comparable to legendary ichiran. Only bad is the service although I don’t pay too much, but service is literally to none. Sometimes need to get the super hot tea my own and burn my fingers 😂
The price was decent but the taste was surprisingly. It cost half the price of a typical ramen place but it came with 3 pieces of meat with half an egg. Super value for money .
Delicious and affordable !!
Try the $6.90 dry ramen for a start, shouldn't go wrong.
One of my favourite Ramen store, reasonably priced (under $10) with fresh ingredients and a decent stock. The best part is they finally opened near me! Cant wait to have this every other day!
Here’s where I go for good and cheap ramen. Fantastic value and terrific quality, you’d be hard pressed to find a better ramen at this price point.
If you like tsukemen, try their Tonkotsu Gyokai Ramen ($8.90, pictured). That bonito + tonkotsu base will truly whet your appetite and leave you salivating 🤤 the gyoza ($5) is not bad too! Skin is not too thick with a dipping sauce that is salty, vinegary and savoury. If you prefer a dry ramen, they do a pretty good rendition with their Dry Truffle Ramen ($6.90). Overall, highly recommend this place, definitely my go-to for cheap ramen.
The tonkotsu broth was thick and rich in flavour.
Gyoza was not too oily and was pan fried well.
The green tea bags used were of good quality which made the tea very rich.
Great ambience, value for money and service - would return again!
Hands down the Best value for money dry truffle ramen. The truffle smell is so pronounced that you can smell it from 1 Km away. The noodles is al Dante and flavourful. However, the minced meat at the bottom is a tad too salty but it could be my personal preference.
The soup broth of the tonkatsu ramen is very thick and flavourful but the soaked noodles aren’t as chewy compared to the dry version. The cost of topping up Cha Shu and egg is super reasonable As well !
Service at Suparakki Ramen Yishun was top notch. The broth of the Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen (Spicy) is flavorful. The chicken karaage was fried nicely. Strongly recommended.
Located opp fair price, a small nice eatery place . Overall, the food is nice but more to salty side, reduce 20% sodium and it will be just nice.
A small shop within Northpoint City serving mainly ramen dishes. While the prices of ramen served are affordable, the cost is reflected in the portion of the meal, which was a lot smaller than expected. Moreover, the interior of the shop can be quite cramped.
Update: last time the GST is inclusive and now its exclusive. Bruh moment
The broth is good 👌 the serving size of the noodle is a bit small but just add 1.50 for additional noodles. It's quite affordable
First try at garlic ramen. Richer taste but not salty. Would be good if shop can expand like kovan outlet size.
I love the cozy feeling of the place, but it is really very very small. I would say it fits about 15 people max, so I just avoid eating during peak hours. The food: ramen is actually the best I've had (I'm not a very experienced ramen eater) and the broth is super rich and creamy. Noodles are good enough, and the egg is delicious!! Though the char siew is not charred, I believe it is just part of the ramen style they serve as it tastes really good.
As many have pointed out, the spice is not very spicy, but that's not very big of a draw for me as the broth tastes great anyway. The senior cleaners/workers are a bit grumpy and they always rush for the bowls, but I understand as they are constantly fully packed and there have been many a time when they were really nice to me!
tldr: love the place, food is good, priced at about $9 for one bowl. worth
I love the taste of the egg & ramen. I like that it is affordable.
I wish that they have more outlets.
Value for money Ramen. The soup stock was good but sometimes on the oily side. Cheapest option at 6.90.
Cozy little eatery. Small menu but pocket friendly prices
Countless bowls of slurpy ramen later, and I still can’t get enough of this place.
One thing is for sure, their soup ain’t holding any commercial MSG!
The food was wonderful, but I didn't taste the spiciness in the ramen where I was ordered the spicy version.
As there wasn't much room, we had to leave after we were done eating so that the table could be cleared for the next person in line.
This gives off a strong Japanese vibe.
Ramen is good with competitive pricing, Dissapointed with the Gyoza as they no longer provide vinegar when I request for it.
Menu price is excluding gst. Paid $9.50 for their signature ramen. Taste wise is average. Noodles is yellow and springy type, not the thin straight noodles I expected. Didn't order any beverage, would prefer if they offer complimentary water for customers.
Ordered dry truffle Ramen set with Karaage chicken and iced green tea. The truffle smell was stronger than its taste. Karaage was great. A tiny shop with limited seating. Might have to wait longer for >2 pax.
Actually pretty good ramen for the price from 6.90 (excluding gst)! Definitely wayyy better than the other ramen outlet thats cheap (wont name which).
"WHAT THE... ?!?!?!" - my first reaction upon the first spoonful of broth!
Ordered the Tonkotsu Gyokai Ramen as I was curious and feeling adventurous to try out a fish broth ramen and was mindblown upon the first spoonful of broth!! Noodles were superb and portion is just about right. Did not order any sides or drinks though so the meal was like what?? less than $10 for a bowl of amazing ramen with generous portion!!
p.s. lack of service but heck, food > service.
Wasn't expecting michellin standard service with a $10 bill anyways..
Good job guys!
ordered 1 soft shell crab ramen and 1 tonkotsu shoyu ramen. soup and food such as noodles and crab is delicious but only downside is their add-on noodles is not free but is $1.60 and comes in a kid-size plate instead 🥺
Despite nearby Takagi Ramen @chong pang yishun having 2,267 reviews and 4.8 stars rating, it doesn't come close to this Suparakki Ramen shop that has lesser reviews and smaller shop size.
Truffle Dry Ramen is a must try! The truffle smells great and was very satisfying. Definitely can compete with other ramen chains which charge more than double its price. A rare find of good food at good price. Had the tonkatsu original ramen and it was 👍 too, but the truffle ramen was the star! 🌟 Would definitely go back again!
DIE DIE MUST TRY ! Tried the new outlet in Westgate B2. Ordered the dry truffle($6.90) and tonkotsu shoyu ramen($7.90). Noodles have an exceptional good Al Dente texture especially for the dry truffle ramen. Tonkotsu broth is very flavourful, ajitama egg well marinated tasting of mirin & soy sauce. Quality was way way better than most expensive ramen restaurant elsewhere that charge more than SG$12 to $15. Great value for money.
Nice pork broth. Not too salty. Noodles were firm but chewy. Cha shu pork strips had a "meat" to them, thick enough that there's something to chew -- and nice taste too.
Price was affordable. Overall, a Takagi ramen competitor.
I gave 4 stars because they don't have togarashii.
$7-9 Ramen (no gst and svc charge) came in a slightly smaller portion compared to $10-20 ramens out there but really tasty broth, egg and charsiew. Noodles were skinnier in variety and chewy. Overall still filling! Space is small and a lil tight.
Ordered their signature ramen and gyoza, noodles texture was decent but the flavour of the broth is average. Gyoza wrapping was thin and crispy but the fillings had no taste.
Very economical and affordable. Ramen proportion is just right. They don't have the variety of Ramen flavors, those few are good enough.
Pleasantly surprise at the ramen standards of this place. Good broth, good char siew and good value.
Felt the black fungus was not necessary though.
Try the best seller in original broth.
I like the dry truffle ramen. Portion is abit small but for $7.25, can't expect much. Guys would probably need to eat 2 bowls.
Food is ok, just the cashier very lan c.
0nce we tried…we went back again 😋
n0t bad ramen & inexpensive 😉
dry truffle ramen n0t bad but "minced meat slightly salty"
g0 f0r their s0up series better 🤭
add $5.8O f0r gy0za & drink 🤗
Food is nice. Just that place is a bit cramp but turn over id fast.
One of my favourite ramen spots(Chain?) in Singapore. 'Nuff said!
Best quality affordable ramen you can find in Singapore.
Good ramen taste. Price similar in Japan. Free water will be perfect
Affordable and delicious!
The space in the shop is a bit small though! But they do offer takeaeaus.
Great value for money, decent taste. Broth is not as flavourful & meat is too fatty
Love the broth and the charred char Siew...
One of the most price friendly ramen in Singapore!
"Standard drop", which is the typical Singaporean experience in every franchise. 5 stars to 3 stars.
Cheap Raman. Average quality.
For a bowl of ramen, it is priced quite economically.
Ramen is good, very worth it at the price point
Great Noodles store for Japanese Ramen lovers
That soup test very nice
Opposite fair price
Delicious and cheap ramen
suparaki signature ramen
Great and affordable ramen. Gave my first feedback on its chasiew and egg - found it too porky and the egg not marinated in shoyu long enough. But the broth, noodles and texture of chasiew was done very well.
Returned the second time to give it a another try and I'm glad there's an improvement in the chasiew and egg.
Good job!
