Reviews of Swensen's Unlimited @ Changi Airport T2
$50+ per pax after GST. Food was pretty average but they have a variety to choose from. I was seated at the back so need to walk a long way to take food + staff doesn’t come and clear my plate so often. The dessert section was so good! So many ice cream flavours 😛
Salad bar not nice. Otherwise most, if not all, the rest of the food were good. Servers are quite attentive and things are topped up quite sufficiently as well.
Might have to wait a bit but were kept updated. Overall very nice for a fuss-free wallet friendly halal buffet.
Special thanks to Moriel for a wonderful first time experience at Swensens buffet :)
Nice atmosphere and service. The food variety is slightly above average including westerns, Indian, Peranakan and their signature dishes. I love their handmade pizza. kids will definitely love this place.
Would recommend making a reservation (but walk-ins are also allowed).
They’re a halal international buffet serving 50 over dishes and 48 ice cream flavours. Their Western food selection is pretty impressive — especially their smoked duck carbonara pasta at their live pasta station. They also have a seafood corner featuring prawns, crabs, clams etc, so if you love seafood, this is definitely value for money.
Ice cream/gelato will be scooped by their staff, and you can request for smaller scoops of ice cream to try out more of their flavours. Would recommend their vanilla, matcha (slightly on the bitter side) and cookies and cream. Their kaya flavour is a little on the sweeter side. They also have a chocolate fondant (to dip your marshmallows in) !!
Prices range from $35 to $60 per pax (for adults), and there’s a 90 minute dining duration. Worth the experience :)
Restaurant is bright , clean and spacious.
Food selection and quality is good enough.
Food is always top-up.
Staff is courteous and polite.
Overall is good enough for decent dining if you ok with the price and time limit of 90 mins.
This is actually quite enjoyable. The spread is huge but don’t expect lobsters or oysters. Crayfish is the order of the day. You get rib eyes, lamb and chicken in the roast section, Mee Siam and Laksa at the local section, plus a lot of other Chinese, Indian and western food.
The highlight for me has to be the ice cream. At least 40 flavors of ice cream and gelatos were available for choices, together with the famous Swensen’s biscuit, the waffles and Koffle etc. one is really spoilt for choices.
Totally value for money so expect a rowdy crowd who will bring a plate and stack up prawns for the entire family.
Swenson’s Unlimited buffet, checked! $38pp dinner buffet (weekday price for adults) only at the Changi Airport T2 outlet. Time limit 1.5hrs. Book in advance!
Besides the Swensons all time favorites like chicken baked rice, pastas, fish & chips, roast beef etc etc, they also have a nonya section with local favorites like kuey pie tie, Ayam Buah Keluak, Acar, Nonya Laksa and Mee Siam.
There’s also a small section of fresh seafood, salad section, Indian section selection is limited, carbs like mee goreng and chicken rice can also be found. Soft drinks, coffee/tea all free flow. Dessert like local kueys, chocolate fondue section, waffles and all their ice cream and gelatos are also available.
Eat too full how? Can burn all the calories by walking home after the buffet.
Don’t say Bo Jio 🍌, because even the bananas are free flow ok!
Been here a few things, and its nice. Food was good. Beef was not beef it tasted more to like lamb. Staff was brilliant.
My family of 8 is celebrating my daughter's 23rd Birthday with the help of the Unlimited Swensen's staffs...
Kudos to these wonderful awesomely friendly staffs, Arnold who welcomed us, Maira the Cashier who patiently explained the detailed membership, Moriel & Jim who helped to make the birthday ice cream by scratch & sang birthday song for my beautiful daughter.
The surprised look from her was priceless.
How do you describe happiness?
By putting your loved ones smile, pricele....
Thanks guys.
Keep up the good work 💪
I was pleasantly surprised by the wide spread of food and ice cream served. However, the 90-minute duration limit set is definitely not a good practice as this is not a simple set lunch. It's unhealthy for customers to eat at a fast pace in order to complete their meal before warning is given. So much food, so little time, chefs' hard work is not given due respect.
Came here during lunch. Very affordable. A lot of varieties to choose from. Western, Asian, Indian, and etc. Specially love the aglio olio, very delicious.
Great choices of ice cream and gelato. Fresh seafood such as mussels, clamshell, prawn, crab.
Highly recommended.
Wide selection of food and ice cream. Friendly staff. Recommended!
The entry into the dining area was pretty seamless. I reached out to the customer care team through e-mail as I was not able to book a slot on their website. They sent me a link and I managed to book for the actual day.
There was a queue for reservations, but it was cleared rather promptly. I booked for 2.30pm, but was allowed in at 2.15pm as I reached early.
Food was piping hot and even my elder son commented that the one cooking the spaghetti has been cooking non-stop. It is hoped that the service crew can take a scheduled 30-min break after every few hours so as not to overtire themselves. The pizza was fresh from the oven according to my younger one.
There is a great variety and selection of food and one is really spoilt for choice. I am not a big eater and I do not take seafood, so $31++ seems expensive for me. The $15++ for children helps to make up for the amount.
A big thank you to all the service crew for being so dedicated to your work. This must be the busiest Swensen’s that I have been to. Everyone was patient and worked tirelessly. Even when I left, which was 4pm already, there was still a queue.
Service crew, Mathew initiated bringing my boys to their seats so that they could start dining first while I made the payment. This small act mattered a lot, as it was already late and my children were hungry. The cashier asked for Changi rewards and Swensen’s membership to scan for rewards when making payments too.
Will definitely be back again as there was so much more food that I would love to try, but I was already too full.
Love the kids friendly environment. Celebrated my girl’s birthday, Stella and teams service was awesome. They sang birthday song and surprise her with a lovely ice cream cone with cancel.
Dinner spread was abundant and the ice cream buffet was delicious! Although a little pricey, it’s worth it.
However, do take note that they have a dining time limit of 1 hour and a half.
I stumbled upon this restaurant on Facebook and decided to try it without making a reservation. After a brief 10-minute wait, I was seated at a table, with a 90-minute time limit after paying $60.00 per person.
The buffet offerings were satisfactory, with nothing particularly remarkable except for the pizza. I sampled a variety of dishes, including the ice cream bar.
Compared to hotel buffets, which typically start at $75.00, this was a more affordable option.
Overall, while there was nothing negative about the restaurant, I don’t plan to return again as there’s no shortage of buffet restaurants.
For the price on a PH, weekend, the price is average. However if you can get a reservation and come on a weekday, the price is definitely value.
We came on a PH and the crowd is definitely less than a normal day, making the experience less rushed and more pleasant.
The seafood counter is very fresh and they top up very fast. I particularly like the prawn and the crayfish, but the crabs were not that good.
The cooked food counter - the beef, fish and chip, crayfish w sauce are great. The fried chicken wing is meh.
The dessert is the bombs, especially for kids and people with sweet tooth! I particularly like the durian penget, croffles and choc fondue!
Will come again only on a weekday!
Super super crowded. With queue longer than 50pax. Service by Ing Er was especially good. Prompt, efficient and can tell she love her job! Although restaurant was slammed and filled with lots of inpatient customers, she handled them with calmness and professionalism.
Will go back again. The waffles and ice cream is a must try!
Excellent Value for Money. Warm and Friendly Service. Most of your Swensen's Favorites including 48 ice cream flavours. Special mention to Jim, Matthew and Muriel for a very pleasant dining experience.
For a weekday buffet, this price is just right!
Food is awesome and ice cream selection is fantastic!! Kudos to the outlet manager Ingern! Me and wife was there first time without realising that prior booking is needed. However, she still managed to find us a seat, thank you so much!
I am so excited about the food and dessert. Just one thing puzzles me: if the waitress is unwilling or unhappy to scoop the ice cream, why not open it to the public for self-service, like the food section and other dessert sections?
The buffet was average and doesn't worth the buzz. The food quality isn't same as what you normally get from Swensen's when purchased separately. Crab smelled and tasted awful. Not much variety of foods. You get what you pay for. The only saving grace was the dessert and ice cream.
First time here and it didn't disappoint.
I wasnt having high hopes from plenty of mixed mediocre reviews but the food was much better than I expected.
Of course it's not as atas as hotel buffets but I believe it's way better than some of the hotel buffet at this same price point ($31 for lunch).
Definitely worth the money. I had so much of the Signature Swensens Fish and chip and it really brings me back to the Swensens in the 90s at T1.
The rotisserie chicken and beef was really good.
Free flow drink is good gesture.
And there are 48 flavours of ice cream to spoil you at the end of the dinner.
Better book in advance. Will visit again.
Actually don’t get all the negative comments here! For the price I pay I think it’s worth it. The carbonara and beef is good so is the butter chicken & laksa not too shabby. Anyway pistachio & Genmaicha ice cream is bomb.
We should not expect any atas buffet style here for what we are paying this is decent and good.Grateful for all the service staff that help to keep the service flow as well:)
Went on 09/04/24 which was pre-holiday, price was abit higher at $50++ which came out to ard $59.95 per pax. Good spread of food, and food quality was quite good to be honest. Was quite crowded even though it was a weekday, would be better if reservations are made beforehand. Will try on a normal weekday and see how it goes.
Overall a nice dining experience. $42 per pax after tax and service for weekday lunch. Most of the food is nice but varieties is limited, at $42 cannot complain much. Ice cream and pasta 😋. Alot of nice friendly auntie server to keep clearing your plate.
Awesome food and great service! Our waiter, Jerome, was very friendly and helpful! Will come again for a birthday meal :)
We went there for the weekday dinner buffets, which cost us $125 for 3 pax. The place is extremely crowded, and although we make reservations, we have to wait for them to clear the tables for us to sit down. The patrons all make a beeline toward the seafood on ice, and there are plenty of live stations that offer laksa, beef hor fun, beef, chicken, spaghetti, pastas and vegetables salad. The final encode will, of course, be their in-house ice cream. The Mao Shan Wang flavor ice cream, Hokkaido snow, and cookie chip is my flavorite. This buffet certainly is a diabetes nightmare. Recommended.
Great experience celebrating mum birthday thanks to the team on dinner service on 12 Nov 2024. From arrival till end of dinner.. Thanks Jerome and team.
There’s a great variety of food and the dishes are delicious! I went a few times and realised the service has improved a lot. They handled the crowd well. My group and I had an enjoyable meal today because of the Manager, Mr Jim and his team for their impeccable service rendered to us. They helped us with some reservation issues. Thank you for making our outing memorable!
We have a pleasant experience dining in buffet, Jerome and moriel are extremely helpful and accommodating. And the staff Bhong if i get the name correctly is quick to answer us all my query considering i dine with my kids its very relaxing to know that the staff are there to accommodate our needs. Thanks for an excellent service . Will come back again soon
Excellent place to hold a gathering with a wonderful selection of seafood, western and local delights. In addition, the impeccable service from Ms Lai Ying Er, Mr Jimson and Ms Stella was amazing! They remained attentive and helpful in spite of a busy dinner crowd. Bravo to all! My family and I will return soon! 👍🏻🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Swensen's Unlimited is one of the best Halal buffet restaurants I've ever dined in. There's a wide variety to choose from, including Indian, Western, cold seafood, and Peranakan dishes. My personal favorite is the ice cream and gelato selection. staff are very friendly, adding to the pleasant dining experience.
place not a wheelchair friendly. if you have old folks who can’t walk, then its not suitable for them. no toilet inside. place too small for wheelchair to move around to check ard the buffet
The food was excellent and definitely worth the price. The ambiance was pleasant as well. I would also like to commend Matthew for providing outstanding customer service and being attentive to our needs.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Swensen’s at Changi Airport, and I must commend the team (Aliyah, Jerome, Mathew, Aaron & Nabil)for their outstanding service. From the moment we walked in, the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive. They ensured that our dining experience was smooth and enjoyable.
The staff checked in regularly to ensure everything was to our satisfaction and promptly cleared the table.
The chef team Zock Ling, Danson Lock, Agnes, Aqilah and Agnes were kind to accommodate to my toddler's food preparation.
Their professionalism and friendly demeanor made a lasting impression, turning a simple meal into a delightful experience. We were celebrating a birthday and they enthusiastically also sang for the birthday girl.
Kudos to the team for maintaining such high standards!
Ok we are very lucky no waiting time on Friday dinner .happen there are seats available. This is 90mins buffet is good for gathering. Overall we had pleasant experience.
Visited on a Friday for lunch.
The food was pretty good, everything moved pretty fast so was fresh.
However, a bad service experience marred the visit.
We arrived 15 min before the first slot so we didn't see anyone up in front of the queue. We looked for a place to push our double stroller (2 kids in tow) and found the ramp at the side entrance of the restaurant, so we pushed the stroller there and waited. It was our first time, a spontaneous last minute reservation, so we didn't know how popular this was.
A staff named Moriel came to ask why we were there. We said we had a reservation and couldn't push our stroller up the front, and would appreciate if she seated us first but we understood if she didn't since they hadn't opened. She said ok, stay there.
We waited until the restaurant opened and people started coming in. I was shocked to see the lines in front of the restaurant. All this time Moriel never told us we had to go and queue in front.
I queried the manager who just asked me to queue up. When I confronted Moriel while paying, she gave an excuse that they were preparing a table for me, which was a lie as they didn't. They only asked for our reservation and seating details when we were paying.
We were actually rushing for a movie so this effectively left us less than an hour to eat (we were only seated at 11.20).
Upset that there was zero apology for the error or accountability from Moriel to her manager, or even just letting us skip the queue, instead giving a lame excuse. We were either the first or second group there.
Best 90min buffet. Quality and spread of food is amazing. Ice cream varieties are mindblowing. Worth the weekday feast!
The food was quite decent at this price point and it’s worth eating. The children has a blast with the unlimited ice cream. In particular, one of the staff who was manning the ice cream section, went above and beyond to give my daughter a birthday ice cream plate for her birthday celebration. Thank you for the effort!

The worse part of the dining experience is the seafood because it was cooked but ice cold placed on ice. It's like eating boiled and plain seafood which is cold to make it worse.
Would definitely try again if the seafood is not cold and cooked in a certain style rather than just boiling it. Hope Swensen's Unlimited can improve that part. The rest of the items are good. Worth the try.
Smashed Croissant Ice Cream Smashed-wich!!? Admittedly a little hard to eat, but loads of fun to create! the smashed croissants as part of their buffet spead is a must - crisp, buttery and indulgent. Oh yeah, they've got peanut butter chips too! Yum.
Good selection of hot foods as well. There was seafood on ice, salad station, Peranakan dishes, pizzas, pasta, baked rice, roast meats and more. From just $31++, honestly one of the most value-for-money buffets.
Staff attended quickly to Q.
Good service from all staff and also Manager (Moriel who is very sweet and kind when ask for a help in Birthday Celebration!)
(Maira who tried to answer most of our queries)
(Mattew who is kind and helpful)
I love how all staff tried their best in celebrating birthday despite being busy there. Better than at normal outlet.
Food is served in good portion and hot.
Will definitely come back.
managed to book a table for 3 today during lunch time! did not take long to be seated (<10 mins) wait:)
good assortment of food, a ton of ice cream:>
i like to thank Stella especially for her service to fix my broken shoe:) tysm!!
The peranakan food section is my favourite. Prawns are v fresh. Ice cream was best. Croffle n croissants were best. Staff Stella and Jerome made sure that we got a nice table. Stella fixed the ice machine. Staff cleared plates promptly. We were disappointed that beef Rendang is no longer on the menu. Overall great value for money.
Had Swensen's for many many years and this concept of buffet was definitely eye opening! Something which most buffet do not offer, a wonderful range of ice cream flavours and allows customisation to your liking!
Live station is definitely a go to. Normally buffets you'll avoid cooked food and just attack seafood, but not here. You'll want to hit the carving section, or even take a chair to sit there instead. Are you kidding me?! No.
Special shoutout to the Pasta, Laksa, Baked rice, Pizza and Beef Hor Fun. MADE Fresh upon order. Ok, maybe not so much for the pizza, but not like it's done and left there for hours. It's still great.
Something that stood out from the usual Western restaurant are Peranakan and Indian food. These are something you'll probably find in buffet of a higher price point. There's a toaster there to heat up bread or even the naan which goes superbly well with the sauces and curry.
What's more rewarding is that, it's so kids friendly, i believe they (4yo and above) would enjoy it as much as anyone would, especially ice cream. Can also encourage them to create a sundae of their own imagination. Mixing things around is what kids do best anyway. Anyway, kids do have a much lower price which I would say is very affordable to still bring them in. Below 4 dines for free! HOSEH BO?!
For the seafood section, I'm not really a big fan, but why would i say no to crayfish? Just whack only lah! Mussels and claims just take lah!
Let me finally share with you some tips. Laksa and Beef Hor Fun, while it's hot, especially Laksa, shell those crayfish and prawns and add them to the hot food and there you get some atas Laksa. Or even cross with Peranakan food what brings your experience to another level.
There's so much to try out and experiment with the food combinations. You'll certainly finish a session and thought of the next one regretting not mixing certain food. Muahaha!
We’ve been here a couple of times and what stood out to my family and I was Jim’s smile and hospitality. He greets and smile to everyone that walks in and it creates a really positive vibe and atmosphere. Even with displeased customers that is in the walk in waiting line, he still talks to them with outmost respect and courtesy. Food is value for money and is constantly being topped up as well.
We will be back for more. Thank you to Jim and team for the kind hospitality and making it a wonderful experience for my family and I.
We did a reservation for lunch. The process from the queue to table was less than 5 min. Food spread and quality are good esp the laksa and the prawn. Replenishment is also fast. 48 ice cream flavours are captivating, good pairing with the croffle and smash crossiant
1.5 hours dining duration, they seat you according to the timing you arrived so they will know when you need to leave.
I did a walk-in.
Honestly this was an ok buffet, I’d say go for the ice cream. The mains were decent but nth to write home about. You can expect various cuisines like western food (roast chicken, fried items like fish/calamari, indian food (butter chicken, rice, dal), peranakan cuisine (assam fish, ayam buah keluak), and other stations such as pasta, baked rice, spaghetti of your choice and mee siam/laksa stations.
The food isn’t exceptionally delicious but worth it for a weekday lunch.
The desserts on the other hand, you need to save some space for! Gelato, ice cream,
, smashed croissants, banana/apple crumble, brownies, fondue, various toppings, DIY chendol and traditional kuih.
If you brought your parents they might enjoy the last two desserts😍
Overall, I wouldn’t come back for a weekend or dinner but perhaps a weekday lunch again.
The lala is tasteless, flower crabs are small. Mussels and prawns are the best dishes for me. My family had calamari, fish and chip and carbonara which was not bad. Ice cream had wide variety. Apple crumble was mushy. Had to wait for 30 mins even with reservation. Came from the west to try it out and it'll be a one time visit for us. Not really worth the trip.
I would Like to commend the great food and service being offered here at Swensens Changi Term 2. The food is amazing with different touch of asian cuisine. Jerome and Matthew are very welcoming to guests and efficient when in terms of customer assistance. Keep up the good work!
First time trying, manage to get last minute reservations for weekdays lunch. For the price it is better then some other known buffet places. Variety is good for the price. Only thing is pasta station is always long. Maybe they could increase the number of stove to manage the long queue.but overall will come back!
Great beufet at a great reasonable price. Unlimited ice cream!!!
I recently visited Swensen's Unlimited on Monday, and I am writing to express my heartfelt appreciation for the outstanding service provided by Mr. Jim. Despite the restaurant being incredibly busy, Mr. Jim remained remarkably patient and served us with a welcoming smile, making our dining experience truly enjoyable.
What particularly stands out about Mr. Jim is his ability to build a genuine relationship with our family. Every time we visit the restaurant, my children feel comfortable and happy, largely due to Mr. Jim's warm and friendly demeanor. His exceptional service has even inspired my kids to arrange their own meet-ups with friends over the buffet lunch, which speaks volumes about the positive impact he has on his young customers.
The lunch buffet at Swensen's Unlimited is a fantastic value, especially for children. The extensive spread, featuring 48 flavors of ice cream, roast meats, and a diverse selection of seafood, is truly impressive. It offers something for everyone, making it a perfect spot for family gatherings.
Once again, I want to commend Mr. Jim for his exemplary service and for making our visits to Swensen's Unlimited a delightful experience. His dedication and kindness do not go unnoticed, and we look forward to many more enjoyable meals at your restaurant.
Thank you to manager Jim for the great service. My family felt at ease and had a wonderful meal here because of the attentive manner in which Jim displayed. He even helped to take a family photo for us. We will definitely be back again.
I like the food here. Everything is tasty and love the variety of ice cream, there is a lot of flavor to choose from. Thanks to Jerome (the manager) for the friendly service. Had a wonderful dining experience.
Went on a Thursday afternoon, queue moved quite fast. Food was great as well as the service. Decent amount of food selection too. Ice cream selection was very good too, many many flavours.
There were quite a bit of flies though at some parts of the buffet restaurant.
Overall still 9/10 will recommend, super worth the price. 👍🏻
Food is great. Service is poor. Our table was cleared when we return from getting ice cream even though it was within the given meal hour. We were shocked to find someone else's personal items were on our table. Our packets of tissues and wet ones on the table were gone too. The two servers we spoke to make unintelligent answers and were not able to answer our queries. Look untrained. The manager Jerome was brisk and not friendly or unhelpful. Totally spoiled the dining experience
Matthew n Morriel was very friendly n cheerful always. Very polite n efficient staffs too . Keep up the good work . Tks alot
Got to DIY my own smashed croissant ice cream dessert with the variety of ice cream flavours and toppings to choose from! Enjoyable
Celebrated my friend's birthday at Swenson unlimited. Enjoyed their food and service from Jerome, Mira, and Geraldine!
Great service by one of the staff - Kho Ching whom greeted us with a great smile, which start off the experience right. Food was amazing and the Gelato ice cream was awesome. Beginning to end, great experience 👍
Choices of ice cream are really huge with gelato/ice cream and toppings. Main dishes and side dishes are also abundant but the most impressive thing is the great service despite the busy crowd. Jeromes service was excellent
excellent service from Mateo and Jerome for giving our bday request and assisting with our wheelchaired friend
The food is good and worth it the price, service is good and jerome is very accommodating
Food was decent with a good selection of ice cream as expected. Slightly pricier on the weekends.
However, staff took quite a while to clear the plates and customers had to keep placing them at the counter.
Came here for my mom's birthday and had a good time! It is better value on weekday lunch as it is only 31++ per person. We came for a weekend dinner and felt 60++ per person was quite pricey for the food on offer.
Food offerings on weekend dinner:
Fresh pizza, baked rice, pasta, laksa and another noodle
Meat section (rotisserie chicken, beef etc)
Standard fried western fare (fish and chips, chicken wings etc)
Kueh pie tee
Indian food
Seafood on ice - crayfish, shellfish, prawns etc but no crab or lobster. My husband said they weren't super fresh but decent
Unlimited ice cream 40+ flavors - you can ask for small or big scoops. I loved hokkaido snow with honeycomb and osmanthus, pear and wolfberry. Dark chocolate was good too
Ice cream toppings - strawberry syrup, blueberry syrup, dried fruit and nuts, a huge variety
Chocolate fondue fountain with fresh fruit like bananas and strawberries (but they run out fast and you have to wait for staff to refill it)
Breads
Fresh waffle, smashed croissant
Tarts and baked goods like apple crumble but there was a lot of crumble and very little apple so I didn't get any
Soda fountain
Of course hotel buffets have more variety and higher quality, but you get what you pay for. I recommend coming at weekday lunch because it is only 31++ per person. Do make a reservation as this place is popular!
Today is lunch time. You need to make a reservation online in advance. The time limit is 90 minutes. I recommend the smoked duck pasta.
fresh sweet prawn and ice cream
48 flavors can choose for ice cream
Nasi lemak is good
great
I booked it for corporate events. Jim served us so well that most of my staff feedback that he provide service professionally. He helped me to solve all the problems I have with the reservations and he also arranged a nice and full of privacy seats for us. Good service! Must try their Durian King ice cream!
I was at changi airport and I didn't make a reservation. I waited for 1.5hrs inorder to go in. Matthew was a very nice staff who asked if we can wait as it is fully booked already. I told him we can as my friend want to celebrate my 🎂 .
All the food is great! Love the steak, pasta and pizza. Staff are friendly! Their ice cream is the best.
Been coming here since May, the food here doesn’t ever disappoint! The staff here are super friendly and amazing at what they do!
Food was quite decent! Ice cream was good as usual.
Some things can be improved in my opinion. Fried fish was a bit disappointing, and the roast striploin was really very dry. Otherwise, the rest of the food was good
Great and awesome dinner experience. Wonderful service by Wendy and Jerome .. Great job. Keep it up 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
