Nice cosy bar izakaya style nestled along a busy street known for skewers. It stands out for its cave like concept and it’s a nice place to have a few drinks. Prices are okay but highballs are not served in tall glasses. Servers were happy to give us the right glasses and top up soda water when requested. Food is average and good for sharing. We tried a few skewers and kimchi dumplings. I’d come back for a few drinks as there aren’t nice pub options here.

Our go to place for a chill night, good food, friendly staff. Love the decor and atmosphere of the place, really well thought out and unique. The food is very reasonably priced and they have a good happy hour. The food is a bit sweet this time round but always good! Would definitely recommend to try, good place for date night or drinks with friends !

Made a reservation before heading down. Place is filled on a Friday night. Of everything, highly recommend the pork skewer, unagi fried rice and hotate mentai yaki. These 3 stood out more. The rest (in pictures) were alright. The spicy pasta (not the mentaiko pasta btw) was quite spicy, fyi. The place was pretty dark, but kind of tight and loud. It's also quite pricey (about $30+ per pax). Would give an overall of 3.5 stars.

Quite happy I took a chance with this relatively new kid-on-the-block. We got ourselves a couple of dishes (including the much raved about mentaiko pasta) but what really stole the show was the Saikoro wagyu beef steak ($18)! Each chunk was about medium done on the inside with a nicely seared crust. I just love the bite-sized portions where the proportion of gravy to meat is perfect. The garlic chips and refreshing palate-cleansing daikon went well with the heavy seasoning. Kimchi seafood pancake (~$18) was pretty normal. Taste-wise, little too much kimchi compared to seafood but I think the texture and thickness of the pancake made up for it. The mentaiko pasta (~$14) was slightly too creamy and reminiscent of mac ‘n’ cheese in that the sauce dried up after a while. I did enjoy the generous serving of ikura though. Ambience was something hard to find on a Saturday night. The tables are perfectly spaced out so you don’t feel cramped despite the small shop space. The deco is simply impressive. Will most definitely be back if I want a chill night of conversations and Asian food.

The fruity sweety beer is a plus for myself. Loved their ambience. Their Matai Yaki very cheesy. Chicken skin was still soft on the inside. Disappointment was that the staff asked us to sign up as member for a 20% discount which was not honor upon payment. Overall, if not for the member experience, still a ambience worthy place to visit.

It’s not a good experience for me. The service by the staff is average due to no interaction. The Unagi Fried Rice I had was rated below average, the sauce did not mix properly with the rice. Not recommended….

Great find!! Food was good however, the portions are slightly small. Do try the unagi fried rice, mentaiko scallops and wagyu steak. Super cosy ambience and I made a booking via eatigo with 50% off so it’s really worth the try!!

During my 6 months in Singapore, I absolutely loved this place. Came here several times a week for a beer or drink after work. They have good happy hour deals and make among the best drinks in Singapore. Take your time and visit this place for a great atmosphere and good drinks. Unfortunately haven’t had the opportunity to try the food but presume it is good.

Unagi fried rice was nice. Portion is just nice. Food came very promptly but service was not that great as compared to most restaurants out there. Recommend to come for the food. Don’t expect much for their service.
