Reviews of Vespetta Italian Restaurant
Solid Italian restaurant on the river in Boat Quay. Food was good and the views on the river are great. Like my beef carpaccio and truffle ravioli...not the best italian in town but good for boat quay. Service was friendly and decently quick. Would go back again.
It’s a little pricey even after the Eatigo discount but no regrets as we were seated by the waters enjoying the view and ambience. It would have been perfect if they have served the salad first, followed by the starters then the main course. However, the food were served all at once, well, twice. I love the Tiramisu and ordered two portion of it. I think the Vongole is not right … I remembered having bigger clams elsewhere but here many small clams were served.
I had the orecchiette with pomodoro sauce which was lovely!
As I think another review mentioned, a hint of spice or an option to add chilli flakes in the sauce might have been a good addition 😊 but it was still good!
The fried calamari was really good, crispy batter, salted and goes well with the salsa dip. Tiramisu was good as well. Ravioli, personally feel it could have cooked a little longer and truffle taste was not very strong. Octopus's meat was a little tough and maybe some sauce would have been good.
AS A VEGETARIAN:
I had been to the pleace earlier was totally in love wotht the menu and the food. The place ahs really good options for both vegetarians and not. The ambience is definitely worth the visit it being beside the river. The service is good and quick. The staff know their stuff and they definitely are flexible to make sure they cater for dietary restrictions. The food was tasty and feels fresh and good, especially the ravioli.
My wife and I chanced upon this unassuming Italian restaurant.
Ordered seafood risotto, aged Angus beef steak, and apple tart.
All 3 dishes were absolutely delicious and amazing. The potatoes with the steak were unbelievably good. The risotto was very well seasoned.
Got to say this is the best Italian food I had in SG, and is better than even some fine dining places. 👍👍👍
The pasta and pizza are excellent! The eatigo deal makes it really affordable to enjoy the delicious authentic dishes made with premium fresh ingredients in a lovely ambience. Staff are very attentive and helpful. Service was fast. Compliments to the talented Italian Chef! We will be back for more.
My 2nd time having dinner at this place via the Entertainer deal, and the food and service were as good as my first dinner here—maybe even better! Opted for alfresco seating and it was a perfect date night spot.
The calamari was perfectly cook and well seasoned. The Orecchiette Pomodoro w/ Burrata was good. The orecchiette pasta was fresh and had that perfectly cooked al dente texture. The pomodoro sauce was also fresh but was a bit one-note... if there was just a bit of spice/chilli heat added to the dish, I think the whole dish would be taken to a whole new level. The Ravioli Ai Porcini, on the other, was perfect in its entirety!!! Perfectly cooked pasta, balanced ravioli filling, and a SUPERB UMAMI BLAST of a porcini black truffle cream sauce. It was so flipping delicious that I felt compelled to add a photo of the cleaned out plate that was used to serve those raviolis.
Please do not give this place a miss! Especially if you have the Entertainer app! Heck, I’ll come back even without the Entertainer deal. 😌
Wonderful food and service! Very happy with every member of the staff who served us tonight. They were really attentive and polite~
Had the calamari (very fresh and fried to perfection. The sauce complemented it well too~), vongole and risotto~
Taste of the food was very authentic and it’s more to the heavy side.
Desserts were amazing! Both the tiramisu and panna cotta was delicious. Too bad I didn’t have room for the pizza dough dessert cos it looked really good (table next to us got it xD)
The view from the outdoor tables was good too since it’s by the river. Perfect for dates ^^
Really glad I came here for dinner.

Psst. There was a little bit of sand in my risotto >< Guessing the mussels were not cleaned thoroughly enough. But I would still come back for the pizza next time!
Good food, good service. I did think the pasta sauce did lack a little flavour but still ok
Chanced upon this place on eatigo and I’m so glad I did! Can’t pick on this place at all! They have an outdoor area right by the river, it was so chill, peaceful and breezy. Service was impeccable - servers were so attentive and they clear out your plates fast when you’re done to serve the next dish.
Food was absolutely delicious! The bruschetta was crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. It was a good medley of tomatoes, olive oil, garlic, Parmesan, balsamic vinegar. Linguine vongole was perfect too. Pasta was al dente and flavorful. Vespetta pizza was so good!! The crust was so delicious - texture and flavor was outstanding - crispy but soft, we just couldn’t stop. The tomato paste, burrata, and prosciutto was so fresh. I call it a delicious mess! Would I come back, definitely. Would I recommend this place, hell yeah!
A cute little place on Boat quay. Had super nice bruschetta and a grilled veggie platter served with burratta cheese.
A single malt will cost you around 18$
Margerita was 17$
Chardonnay tomaresca costed 18$ by glass.
(Although the margerita was served in a wine glass)
It was a good place for a small apéro. A little crowded even on the weekdays so might have to wait to be seated.
Authentic italian food. We enjoyed the burratina with grilled vegetables. Its light & refreshing to eat. The grilled fish with roasted potatoes is lovely. Great to be seated outdoor for fresh air & nice view of Boat quay.
If you like authentic and very tasty italian food, it‘s a must to go her. We had a very good time - thank you so much! 🇮🇹
Outstanding Italian food with a beautiful view. The prices were pretty reasonable for the location and quality. The steak absolutely delicious!
Well above my expectations, the services and food were excellent 👍🏻 there were no biased service as mentioned by some comments, I’m local chinese singaporean and the services were great. Will definitely recommend and patronise again even without Eatigo. 2 thumbs up 👍🏻👍🏻
The food is so so, very tourism place
Vespetta is one of, if not, the best Italian restaurants I have ever eaten at. I’ve been to Italy several times so I have a pretty good sense of tasty authentic Italian cuisine. I recently ate at Vespetta and I was pleasantly surprised. The service, the location and especially the food were all top notch. With just one bite, you can tell the quality and freshness of the ingredients.
We had the calamari, the seafood risotto and the buffalo cheese pizza with spicy salami. All tasted fantastic and the ambiance and service just added to the occasion. I truly had a wonderful dining experience and I highly recommend Vespetta for lunch or dinner, but dinner is magnificent on the River front. You will be glad you visited them, I know I am.
The restaurant is on the Singapore Riverwalk. Along with roughly a billion other restaurants. The food was quite good and the service was very attentive. We ate inside due to the air conditioning. But we could have eaten on the river facing patio once the sun went down. Nice breeze and the humidity had dropped some.
Good Italian restaurant in very busy nightlife area. The tables on the quay offer a better view and atmosphere. A bit small, with polite waitresses. Food above average, considering how far away from Italy it is! Recommended
View was so nice, food were great. Will visit again.
I ma always glad to be back to visit La Vespetta Italiana and taste some amazing Italian food! I like the style of this restaurant and the staff is always very kind. All the menu is really interesting and genuinely Italian.
Fantastic dinner and service. The pizzas are outstanding as usual - had the Don Angelo and Diavola. My all-time favourite is the Linguini with vongole, which I find so irresistible.
Delicious food (the truffle ravioli are out of this world!!), and great service
This place was a random find but surprisingly, great food and great ambience. Dishes are 10/10.
Very impressed with the food! The pastas were amazingly delicious. Great pizza and calamari.
If you're a group of 2, call ahead and request a table right by the river. You'll see. It's worth it. Come on a cool windy day for the best experience.
Only downsides:
There's a bar right next door, so it does ruin the vibes a bit if you're having a romantic night out. For typical Italian food of this caliber, you'd expect a quiet, calm atmosphere. But, it is Clarke Quay, so noise is to be expected. Just be aware that you may have drunk people a couple metres away yelling and throwing things in the water.
It's worth it for the pasta though.
Great food and lovely ambiance! Both the risottos, the prosciutto pizza and tiramisu are superb! Been here three times and will definitely return, though the service has been a bit of a hit and miss at each visit. 5-star place along boat quay nonetheless!
My favourite place for Italian cousin.
Lovely view is additional.
There food is perfect and authentic as the chef is Italian.
I recently aware they got some new desserts and it made my dinner finished with more delightful.
New dessert items are must try.
If u are a drinker, try other types of italian digestion also.
Hope to visit soon again.
Great place if you're looking for good and tasty Italian food. The lamb and homemade tiramisu were amazing. We went there for the Singapore Restaurant Week on a Friday night. Place was very busy and waiting staff looked a bit overwhelmed but they've always been very friendly and helpful to make sure we don't wait too long for food or drinks. Food was good and tasty, my wife unfortunately found a very small piece of aluminium in the main dish, but staff reacted fast and was very professional and they replaced her dish and offered her the whole meal. Thanks again to the staff.
Originally my expectation is not that high bcs of some of the negative review here, however me and my sister are stunned by the mushroom ravioli! The smooth and creamy texture of the mushroom truffle cream taste just perfect with the ravioli. The tiramisu is fking good. Definitely will visit again!
Nothing special about the place. Pizza on the drier side...bruschetta was so so. Ravioli wasn't too bad though.
Like majority of the restaurants on boat quay, go there for more for the view...
Great food and ambience. The seafood tomato soup was the highlight of the evening (must try!) Waiting time for service and food was longer than expected but that's only with 2 waiting staff serving the whole restaurant on a Friday evening barely a week after dining in was allowed after the Covid lockdown.
Celebrated bestfriend Birthday to this cozy place plus good food! Cheers!
The view at the outdoor seating is fantastic and the service staff was excellent. Always coming back here for the pizza as they serve one of the best pizzas in Singapore I have ever had!
We had a wonderful meal on a rainy Sunday evening. The food was delicious and the team were very friendly and gracious to accommodate our special request. 🐶
We got only drinks. Staff was very friendly.
The cuisine is excellent and the welcome is also one of the best. I got on really well with my friends in a great area.
I well be back soon thanks!
Realy enjoyed it. Had the 4 course set 4 dinner. Portions were very generous, was absolutely stuffed and good value for money. Would recommend it
Service and food were five star. The restaurant was a bit warm though. Good Italian food just like the ones we tasted in Italy
Good Italian food at a reasonable price. Good wine selection that is not the typical rip off your wallet for a decent bottle.
Both main courses are BURNT?
Very cozy place. Food is well-known but the cocktail is underrated - give the Mojito a try, it's delicious!
Small place, homely with excellent food by owner/managed. Had wonderful lobster risotto.
Really good Italian food with generous portions. Will definitely return!
My go to restaurant to wind down.... Their Tiramisu is the best I have ever had...
Amazing pasta! It tastes very authentic, so delicious!
The go to restaurant for great Italian Pasta and Pizza. Personally love the rivioli.
Good food, set dinner was good value
Alright for lunch, food was hearty and well-portioned.
Good food, good service
The food is very good. I recommend this restaurant.
Quality food and moderately priced.
Nice food with good ambience.
Very good pizza
Good food and wine
I like Italian food and I like this restaurant. A dinner of crispy Italian-style calamari, along with my favorite Bologna Spaghetti. A lemon cocktail makes a delicious dinner. The Italian owner is very handsome and friendly. The space is not purely Italian, but that's okay, I still like it.
Next time I come back to Singapore, I will definitely come back here.
You should try it once.
After several days of Asian cuisine, a true oasis where you can enjoy Italian flavours.
Excellent pizza, excellent raw materials, friendly service.
Nice location of the venue overlooking the river at Clarke Quay.
Definitely a must try if traveling to Singapore.
Delightfully crispy pizza in a beautiful waterfront spot overlooking the Colonial Quarter; Special requests are also fulfilled - there is an additional star ⭐ for this; extremely charming and hard-working team;
the espresso is also delicious;
Thank you for your efforts! 🌺
Boss quite reserved but very nice Tastewise it was really a very nice surprise!!! We are fans of Italian gastronomy and we were won over by the quality and respect for the authenticity of the recipes. Whether it was the pizzas or the paws, everything was really delicious. Go for it without hesitation!!!
Nice location, clean, discreet and present service. Good food but with some shortcomings... to be reviewed
Like feeling at home enjoying excellent Italian cuisine, staff always available, welcoming place, ideal place for a good refreshment while visiting Singapore
Excellent Italian restaurant in Singapore
Typical Italian cuisine... very helpful staff and the chef makes you feel at home with his delicacies...
The river breeze is nice and the house pizza is delicious.
I had a happy time with food and service that exceeded my expectations.
