Service was super friendly and informative. I tried the oysters today, will not come back :( ate 3 as I was in denial of this fishy taste in my mouth…wish my stomach luck the next few days :,) happy hour drinks were good though!

Amazing ambience with delicious authentic italian food! There is a special menu with unique flavours. Head Chef Giuseppe Di Gaetano is so friendly. Affordable and great place to gather with family and friends! Recommended.

Chef was from the old La Barca which is name for maritime ships. Moved to this New place 2 months ago! Volare which means wings to fly! You can heat the Italian s9ng.. Vo.. lare.. ohh.. Love the Florentina black Angus done raw but you have the hot stone to make it medium raw!! The meat was very flavourful! The pizza was great too alto had to pay for additional rockets. Tiramisu was just the right texture and not soggy after a few scoops! Enjoyed the evening thats to chef and his wife Gina? Enjoy

Extensive food and wine menu. Love the risotto, tagliatelle and calamari. Right texture for the pasta, with generous toppings with walnuts and bacon, tagliatalle is simply delish.The servers are friendly and attentive. No GST is definitely a plus. Will definitely come back.

A hidden gem in Katong Odeon buldg. Nice Italian dishes at reasonable prices in quite cosy ambient. Friendly staff n attentive services. Another good venue for gathering n to chill up with a beer or wine in the Katong neighbourhood.

Had the four cheese pizza, the burrata, the lasagna and the risotto. The dishes weren't too bad although the portions weren't very large. Service was good and attentive.

Cost Italian joint located at odeon katong - dropped by for dinner on a Friday evening and it was quite popular with around 70% occupancy. The food overall was quite okay, but nothing to shout about given that there’s quite a few other good Italian places in the east coast/katong neighbourhood. I had the prosciutto pizza and personally thought the pizza dough was a little harder than I usually enjoy. My friends had the pastas and all said it was alright, but not super outstanding

Cleared the tagliatelle within minutes and the eggplant parmigiana. Tried many Italian restaurants and so far this is the most authentic Italian restaurant. Would love to patronise this place often :)

Volare is very cosy, the owner and chef is very welcoming. Food is as good as in Italy. I went there because my wife, a Singaporean, was missing pizza since our last trip to Italy. She was very satisfied with what she was served. We will definitely go back!

Good, unpretentious food which never disappoints. The Fiorentina is better value that other posher places in town, pici cacio e pepe are outstanding, and the lava cake is highly recommended too. Pretty decent wine list. The vibe might not be as influencer-friendly as other new Joo Chiat spots, but you should go to a restaurant to eat, not to take photos.

Would love to give a 5 as food & service is amazing every time we go. Good honest, reasonably priced dishes. The rest of the place/vibe is strange.. TV in restaurants is very 90’s, bright red Coca Cola fridge.. hmm. Just few tweaks & change the buzz to get a vibrant Italian joint - hey presto!

Excellent. Service was attentive but unobtrusive. Always nice when my water is always kept topped up. We had the bread basket, grilled veggies and spigola (baked sea bass). The spigola was amazing. Fresh, tasty, and flavorful. That made our day. Portion was quite generous too. The fish is meant for sharing by two. The outside is unassuming, but the food is great. Worth a visit.

Seriously good Italian food. 😋 So good managed to get only one photo. Too busy eating. The pizza crust is thin and crispy (apparently dough was rested 36 hr before baking) ; tomato sauce has a balanced taste and is obviously homemade. Bombette is another killer. Must try. We had 2 pasta, Pici Cacio E Pepe and easter special, both excellent. Will definitely return. 💯

My second time here and still cannot come to terms with the poor decor, that I believe, belonged to the previous tenant, Honky Tonk bar. Service is severely lacking and rough around the edges. I was astonished at the way the waiter stacked my semi-wet burrata pizza slices on top of each other for takeaway (in an aluminium foil when we couldn't finish the whole pizza). He apologized when I pointed it out, and compensated me with a brand new pizza in a proper box. For that, I am appreciative. The burrata pizza was quite wet even when first served. Pizza quality is so so, with too much tomato paste and too little cheese. The pastas are rustic and definitely different. Florentine steak looked good from where we were, but not sure if I'll ever return.
