First time eating here and when ordered a Beef Stew dish forgot to ask for ramen instead of rice. Young lady staff was extremely nice and flexible helping to change. Tasted the dish and my dish was delicious. The beef cubes was not hard but soft instead which was to my liking.

We ordered the mee suah which taste great. Oyster was not as fresh as we would have liked but still edible. Only drawback is its quite a small bowl. Service was quick and servers polite.

Ordered a Oyster Mee Sua. It tastes not bad. You have to add the vinegar yourself. Ordered an extra large intestines and also sweet potato fries. Both are good as well. There is this free drink with review so remember to review and claim your drink. For the membership you need to wait one day after you buy the membership before you can use the voucher.

I tried the braised pork rice and oyster mee sua here. Braised pork rice: too much gravy and meat is not minced enough. Taste and meat portion is average. The pickled vegetables enhanced the overall taste of this dish. Mee sua: I ordered with the oyster topping and surprised that it comes with shredded chicken. Nonetheless, both oyster and chicken go well together. Portion is average. The broth and mee sua goes well together and I enjoy it more than the braised pork rice. Take note that prices on menu exclude gst.

Our first visit to Xi Men Jie outlet. I like the prawn omelette as the prawns are bigger than most cze char shops. Prices are reasonable for portions too. Wanton looks like handmade with minced pork and half a prawn in each of the wanton. Husband and kid likes all of the dishes. We will visit again.

I went for lunch slightly before 12pm on a Tuesday. Only one of their staff was eating inside. I ordered a Three Cup Chicken which looked and tasted more like braised chicken (it consisted of Three drumlets in sauce and came with one brownish egg with parsley garnish) and was nothing like the authentic Three Cup chicken. There was no basil which is a Signature of this dish. On its own, the dish was okay. I also ordered an onion pancake (蛋饼）with egg, cheese and ham ($7.50) It was rather big and tasted as expected. My choice of drink is green tea. Alas! It tasted like normal jasmine tea, and wasn't green. By the time I left, there were one other diner and another group. But other eateries nearby were a lot more bustling. All in all, the meal is a bit pricey for one person at $20. Food tasted ok but their names don't match. Will I go there again? Hm... maybe...just maybe. But definitely not ordering the Three Cup chicken!!

Another good option if you are looking for nice warm Chinese food. This is my first choice whenever I am at downtown East. Service is fast too. They have improved the menu and the ambience of the whole shop. More comfy now.

We ordered a mee sua and bubble tea here at store. Authentic and delicious, as a Taiwanese I could confirm it. Very wonderful experience, it has comforted my homesickness. Perfect! Sorry the bubble tea not shown in photo, kids grab it immediately away and totally enjoy the bubble tea.

I ordered mee sua and requested for the chilli sauce to be separated. However, my instructions were not followed. Ordered crispy popcorn chicken with curry rice and indicated that I wanted chilli powder but the order came without chilli powder. Additionally, the curry sauce spilled over to the popcorn chicken during delivery as the contents wasn't separated which resulted in the chicken turning soggy. Overall, food tastes decent but packaging and customer's service could be improved.

Oh I absolutely love it! The only concern that they are selling 40% higher than their dine in prices! Which is considerably high. I strongly suggest them to lower their delivery to almost the same as their dine in prices. Probably 10% lesser would be reasonable. Anything more than that is considered expensive. Their current delivery prices are 40% more than the dine-in prices, which is pretty expensive . Had their crab meat mee + shredded chicken. Two dishes! I honestly feel it’s way too expensive at $8.50 a bowl! But it was nice and I was craving; this is my third time ordering from then via delivery. Nevertheless I still wish they keep the prices reasonable. Once a competitor comes up with similar taste but lower prices, that’s it for them. If they could manage to keep it a $5 a bowl, not only me but many other customers would be ordering it via delivery very frequently! Hopefully management will do something about his to cater to the average people of Singapore!
