It was my first visit to Xiang Xiang and the food never disappoint. They were having 20% off before 12pm and we ordered a total of 5 dishes for 5 pax. All the food were yummy and spicy. We will patron this restaurant soon when possible.

Overall, dining at Xiang Xiang Hunan Cuisine was a pleasant experience with a variety of well-prepared and flavorful dishes. Be prepared for a long wait on weekends. Hunan Style Stir Fried Pork: The meat was tender, and the fresh green chili added a hint of spice that was flavorful without being overwhelming. The dish was a bit on the oily side, but it contributed to the overall richness of the flavors, making it a satisfying choice. Sauerkraut Fish in Golden Soup: The tangy flavor of the sauerkraut combined perfectly with the delicate fish, creating a refreshing and light dish and truly appetizing. The broth had a nice depth and complemented the ingredients well. Stir Fried Romaine with Garlic The vegetables were crunchy and fresh, and the garlic added a robust flavor without overpowering the natural taste of the romaine. Sour and Spicy Potatoes: The tangy and spicy combination was intriguing, though the dish was a bit too oily for my taste. Giant Lemon Tea: The giant lemon tea was refreshing and the perfect accompaniment to the rich flavors of the meal. It is a delightful beverage to cleanse the palate. Steam Rice Pot: The steam rice pot, offering around 5 bowls per pot, was a generous and welcome staple. The rice was well-cooked, fluffy, and served as a great base for the flavorful dishes. I rarely eat China cuisine, but had to try this cos of my friend’s recommendation. Most of the dishes here are really spicy, but you can control the spiciness level when you order. In summary, everything is really flavorful and taste pretty good! The best dish was the Hunan fried pork!

Xiang Xiang’s food is already popular with our family for the homely, comfort food at good value! Highly recommend the egg plant dish, dual flavour fish, sauerkraut fish and organic cauliflower However, this visit was particularly enlivened by their staff Wan Ying, whose friendly and cheerful demeanour really brought extra joy to our meal this evening.

Chill and clean environment at Seletar Mall. Really friendly waiter and waitresses and best of all, it comes with ice cream and snacks! The prawn and tofu stew was refreshing, pepper chicken was really good with rice! Top dish must be the 手撕包菜!

This was the second outlet I've visited, with the first being at Pasir Ris Mall. Service was friendly and great! Just that their occasional chants kinda get into some embarrassing vibes..

My absolute favorite is their famous claypot Hunan-style stir-fried pork; it's bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. But that's not all—there are so many other mouthwatering dishes to try, like the tender cabbage, the golden broth sour fish, and the tangy sour potato strips. And don't forget the steamy white rice, which is so fragrant and pairs perfectly with every dish. Highly recommended for anyone who loves bold flavors and authentic Chinese cuisine!

First tried it at suntec and the whole family enjoyed the hearty dishes especially the chicken mushroom pot. Now that they opened near our place at Seletar Mall, we are excited about it! my daughter can't eat spicy food so I ordered all as non-spicy. pickle fish is good, very flavourful, still has some spiciness even for a non spicy version. a little like pepper kind of spicy level. I don't like eating rice so next time I'll try putting the rice in to make porridge. But if they have noodles even better. (similar to that stall with 3 colour noodles in pickle fish broth at hougang mall FC) pumpkin tofu n prawn is good. It tastes like salted egg yolk. (or was it really salted egg or pumpkin?). can stir in rice also will be a very good mui fan version. The cabbage non spicy version is a little disappointing. the cabbage looked burnt but the wok hey not there. overpriced for cabbage without any ingredients. will try stir fry meat next time. the braised chicken looks good. [edit] tried the mushroom chicken thingy. was below expectation because the colour looked rich but the taste is bland chicken soup. chicken texture is like those from herbal soup. but while drinking towards the end, I do feel a little like bland chicken essence soup. [edit] tried green chilli stir fry pork. meat not tender. verdict: go there for golden broth fish, dump rice in to make porridge. the rest are average.

Had ate it multiple times with parents and colleagues. Had always had a great experience having the food. Today, 28 sep 2024, we decided to order grab food over for our meeting. The outlet that serviced us was at Seletar Mall. When the ordered came, the food delivered was different from what we had ordered. Had called the outlet to clarify on the mistake and they rectify it asap and send us a new correct order of the food with additional free sauces and desserts as a form of apology. We were surprised with such great service and will definitely come back again to support! Really want to applaud to the store manager too for the fast and quick response for the mistake order! (Sorry didn't manage to get her name )

The ambience is good, just that as I'm seated right inside, so sometimes it's hard to call for service if they don't look at my direction. They have free tibits and ice cream too. Price can be abit steep but overall was pleasant experience.

If I could rate the staff service, I will rate 100/10. Went with family, and one of us ate into a small foreign fragment in the food. Feedbacked to staff. The staff quickly withdrew the dish, checked in with our health and safety and said that they will promptly investigate the issue to give us assurance. They offered to waive our bill, which we declined because that's not our intention. In the end they still gave us a 20% discount and many bags of free goodies which we tried to reject as again it's not our intention to get anything out of the situation. Nonetheless, we truly appreciate all the service staff for being so compassionate and helpful to us and providing the best customer service possible.
