Repeated customer here for their nice mala soup. Good variety of ingredients (fresh veges and proteins) to choose from. The only downside is that they don’t serve rice. Caveat: I wrote this review for a 10% discount for my meal. However, this review reflects my honest and unbiased opinion. They truly deserve the 5 stars :)

Like most hotpot places , there was a buffet of ingredients and i must say everything lookes fresh , it included various types of veggies, meat, seafood , tofu and mushroom ... The Menu is super straightforward and you chose your spice level first ... So unlike many hotpot places I've been to the sauce and the choice of veggies , noodles arrived separately , and it was taken aback in the beginning... but yeah after mixing up the stuff it tasted fine , and then I learnt they have a sauce station and helped myself.. after adding the sauce mix it tasted way good! The food got colder by the time all this happened ! The staffs were really nice and attentive... The price is little in the higher end compared to many mala hotpot places I've been to .

The free sauce dips and the mala beef stock soup sets this place apart from the other Mala stalls. It’s a cut above your usual Mala stalls. I like it that they slice stuff like the bamboo shoots to be smaller so you don’t have take the whole chunk. Seems like the price is the same whether it’s meat or vegetables, based on weight. Some vegetables have a lot more water. So choose wisely.

All ingredients are of the same price. Ordered mild spicy and the chilli was given in a separate bowl so you can still adjust the spicyness. Deducted 1 star as they offered customers 10% off if they give a 5 star review, kinda rigged so im unsure how accurate is the shop’s rating on google

Ordered 2 sets for my family, middle spicy for us and tomato soup for my kids. We all liked the food very much. It’s one of the best Mala soup in Singapore. Service also quite good. Will surely visit again.

The soup has strong beef taste. Kind of tasty at first, blends well with the spiciness. After a while, the peppercorn taste is very strong.

Besides the fresh ingredients, delicious soup/ and decent cooking, it’s the staff here make this place special. They are always attentive to customers at the entrance, making sure that they will have a seat. Their turnover is quick because of this and nobody is fighting for a table or anyhow chopping tables… unlike the other mala tang place in North Point. 🤣

first time trying. service was tip top but sadly food i cannot say the same. lacks the flavour and punch u get from usual mala. ordered medium, but was barely spicy. has this strong peanut paste taste? but overall okay. think they are more known for their soup bases than dry mala.

Prices and selection of the foods is acceptable. Will be better if the restaurant provide peppercorn powder too., not just peppercorn oil. As it’s a standard to have peppercorn powder in china mala tang restaurant. As those who are like me that preferred more numbness. The powder is a better option as the oil will make the dish too oily.

The Mala Beef broth is very thick and strong taste, a bit too overpower after a few mouthful of soup. I still prefer the Gong Yuan broth . Overall still good if you prefer the overpower Beef Broth.

Service was brisk and efficient even at peak periods; got a place to sit down and food on the table within 20mins on a Friday evening. The beef broth was hearty and flavourful, just the thing to end off a long day. The guy ushering people into their seats was also very cheerful and enthusiastic, can't say better things about his positive attitude. I have been frequenting this place for quite a few times and will certainly continue to do so in the future.

I visited at Friday night around 7pm and queued for 20mins to get seats. The restaurant is busy during dinner time but the service is still good, the staffs are helpful and always serve w smile. The malatang they serve also tastes quite like what i had in China before. Overall this restaurant is good enough for me to recommend it to my friends.
