Situated in a quiet and cozy coffeeshop, this yong tau fu doesn’t disappoint. In fact, it’s probably one of the best yong tau fu I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a lot of them). I would suggest to get the fried one, the braised sauce and noodles packs a punch. Combined together, it’s amazing. The best part… it’s not jerlark!

I came past this quaint little coffeeshop with my wife and I found a hidden gem, Yen Ju YTF. The store was manned by a lovely middle aged couple. I ordered YTF and for my mains, a side of Udon whereas my wife ordered her YTF with her side of Kway Teow. As seen in the picture, they offer the soup version, the dry version and the “Lor” version. I ordered the “Lor” version which my noodles came with a huge serving of gravy. In total, we spent around 10$ for two pax. It reminded us of our comfort food at home too. Highly recommended and very worth it!

This hidden gem in a not so obvious coffee shop is a blessing to the Tampines residence. Delicous food, great services and retro environment. Enjoyed our wonderful brunch here...
