v tasty and enjoyable meal! we liked every dish we ordered, especially the lychee prawn ball. we got a table quickly despite the weekend dinner crowd, while the waiting time for the food to be served was also quite fast. will be back to try the other menu items.

I recently had dinner at Yun Nan @ Nex Mall and it was a delightful experience. The fried rice was perfectly cooked, with a nice balance of flavors that made it a comforting dish. The highlight of the meal, however, was the Lychee Prawn Ball – a unique combination that was both refreshing and flavorful. The prawns were succulent, and the lychee added a sweet twist that made the dish stand out. Service was impressively fast, and the staff's great attitude added to the overall pleasant dining experience. I'll be returning!

Jia Pei is very nice, she has been helping us to serve the chicken soup and share with us how to enjoy the chicken with the Chili source. Auntie Ai Khem also very hardworking and polite, she has been helping us to cleaning up all the empty dishes. Wonderful service and food.

Spacious beautiful restaurant. Not full on Sunday lunch. Servers were mostly attentive. I thought pricy menu. I couldn’t appreciate the food well. Not bad food. I think slightly too much sugar even for simple chicken soup. Menu has pictures but no subtitle on what they are - owner should make this easy improvement.

Visited on a Friday evening and was very crowded. Despite that, service staffs has been attentive and food was served without much waiting. A guy whom we supposed as one of the owner came out to ask opinion about their food and services, and was sharing with us the origin of certain dishes that we ordered and how they are created, which is a nice touch. Food: generally pretty well done for the food except one of the fried mushroom dish. A must try for their chicken soup. Service: Attentive and friendly Price: slightly pricer for such chinese dishes, but acceptable. Spent $200 for 4pax.

Tried the 海鲜泡饭 quite standard tasting, must try the horfun with unique wok hei and crispy bits on top. Fried tofu quite small compared to the pictures, taste wise soso only. Nice and clean place for gathering can order different dishes to try. Overall bit expensive.

Tried the restaurant many times. The price is at higher side. The taste is good. My favorite dishes are beef stew, rice noodle with minced pork, and deep fried minced pork with preserved vegetables. But if you want to order delivery through grab, remember not to order the mushroom soup which cost more than $17 but with super mini size (only 3 pieces of chicken and little mushroom).

First time here, so not the most comprehensive review based on one item - but I was surprised that the seafood pao fan had several pork balls in it. I wouldn’t have ordered it if I’d known. That said, service was pleasant and I’d give other dishes another try next time.

This is a Yunnan Chinese restaurant in Nex shopping centre. I really enjoy the food here, the seafood rice soup, fried fragrance tofu, Yunnan soup 🍜 and their choices of Chinese tea. The menu has alot of choices, l will definitely go back to try their other Yunnan dishes. 😊 eating Yunnan dishes 😋

Really enjoyed the dinner. The grilled/BBQ fish was superb, crispy outside, soft and tender inside. I really like the dragon chives too, mildly sweet. I like the beef, but not my fellow diners who find the beef taste too strong. The highlight overall was definitely the Pao Fan, fresh, savoury, burst of flavours in the mouth. We ordered five dishes in total (grilled/bbq wings not pictured) and the price was $111-something. On the pricier end, but worth every penny.

I like everything but their lack of staff during CNY. Food was fantastic and dishes served very fast. The staff were so busy running around and we didn’t get a chance to stop them and request for hot water refill to our teas. Nevertheless, it is an experience to have tried the Yunnan cuisine. Ever since trying the changi branch, fell in love and wanted to go again! Price is on the high side I feel (ordered 3 dishes + 2 teas) as it amounted to +/- $70 but totally worth it for once a while treat :) Btw they just opened membership from this month so you may get discounts at next visits (FYI - not sponsored). Went to the nex branch today and the food is superb as always. The fish was done cleanly (no sharp fragments of bone which could hurt your teeth or gum or u), marination was well done (the taste bites you), complemented with the soft and umami fish flavour. Fried rice was amazing; smell is strong, just like the way I like it, and taste super delicious too :) Red mushroom's chicken's soup - 很好吃😋 Service is excellent (so glad they can speak English at this branch). Definitely gonna visit again as it never disappoints!

Beef stew = not sure the real chili taste of yun nan. What i tasted today not spicy at all but very oily. charcoal grill chicken wings... Only taste the chili power at outer skin. Stir fried yunan rice noodle like local hokkian prawn noodle with local taste chili belacan, cannot taste yunan noodle at all, the yellow noodle like local noodle. Price range $$$. I dont feel like i earring china food, so i won't come back but restaurant internal design is nice.

Had dinner with 2 friends and their toddler on a Saturday. They are popular where we waited for 30mins before getting a table. Love their service and their food. The servers were attentive and friendly, when asked about food recommendations, they were keen on given recommendations. The price is on a mid to mid high range with smaller portions than normal chinese restaurants. But the taste of the dishes are really well done. Will come back again.

Overall food is really tasty like home cooked food. -Fish Maw Tofu was slightly salty but good tasting overall - (not in picture as sold out this time) their chicken soup is the best, with two ways of eating. - Qing Long cai is nice with wok Hei -But the truffle Hor Fun is disappointing with no truffle taste, will not recommend it.

Came at 3pm, used Burpple Beyond (to redeem 1-for-1 Fried Rice) was pretty good and value for money $14++ ($17.20) for 2 plates! Not too crowded and the service staff (Yik and Felicia) were attentive and on standby even though the rest of the staff were having their lunch. Beancurd pudding came with a 5 star review… which is a bit sus imo but damn the beancurd pudding was good. Smart ppl!!

Poached Seafood Rice in Prawn Broth, Steam Pot Chicken Soup. 2 interesting food selection here, Pao fan in this golden broth and the amazing steam pot chicken soup which had its soup formed from the steaming of the chicken. Yes, can you imagine the original non msg flavour?

Food is good but service can be improved. We were still having our dinner and the staff(more than 8people) is already doing all the cleaning (lamps, ceiling,clearing out plates) and asking for the bill. It's only 2115hrs. Feels like we are being rush. if the service is able to match the food, I will give it 5stars.
