My child has been with Teacher Ervina for about a year. She’s been very patient and friendly, encouraging my son to practice and try different songs. On occasions when she sees him struggle, she seeks alternative to help him learn better in a positive and wholesome manner

Umar Rashid enjoys his drum lessons here at Aureus Northpoint. He looks forward to his classes every weekend with Teacher Amirul. We are greatful for Tr Amirul who made Umar learn the different parts of a drum, and read the notes simultaneously while playing the drum. He truly enjoys playing the drum, even practicing it at home. Teacher Amirul updates us with Umar’s progress after each lesson too. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

My son has been with Teacher Douglas for a period. He is extremely patience in teaching and getting him to focus. I chose him due his talent in vocal as well. Every end of lesson there will be a briefing on his progress and what we need to look out for in term of his improvement. I would highly recommend him!

My daughter has been learning guitar with Tchr Areef at Aureus for a few months now. I was initially skeptical of how she would take to classes since guitar for children is a bit more challenging and painful for their little hands. However I am happy that not only has she not complained about the discomfort on her fingers, she is always eager to practise at home. She says she enjoys her classes with Tchr Areef and he always makes classes interesting for her and that makes her look forward to his classes every week. Definitely recommend Aureus and thankful to Tchr Areef for giving my daughter a positive music learning journey.

Teacher Nigel have always being very patience with my daughter. She tried art lesson and ballet unfortunately nothing interest her….. finally seeing her energise with Drumming for 2 years is such amazing surprise. Hope many more years for her learning journey

I am a 20 year old drum student My teacher is Ahmad Amirul. He's great. No complaints. My complaints come from management. I have a personal drum set at home. I practise daily/every other day depending on how tired my legs are from drumming (my weakness is the bass drum) Nonetheless, as with everything else, progress is slow and takes time. Teacher Amirul can give the best advice in the world (which he does) but it simply takes time for my body to build the muscle memory. Herein lies the problem: their minimum package is 4x30mins lesson/month (at $252) I arrange my sessions to be 2x 1h sessions biweekly but due to other life commitments (such as oversea travel), I feel that the gap between lessons is too small for me to make any meaningful progress for teacher amirul to give different impactful advice (it makes no sense for me to go to 2 different lessons when my skill level is roughly the same and for him to give me the same advice) Therefore, I've decided to withdraw. In the process of withdrawing, I was told that I have to finish all of my make credits as well before the last lesson. While this may not be a problem for others, it is definitely a concern for adult learners who would rather treat the instructors as consultants rather than teachers would supervise every step and practise lesson. The cost is also high of course. Nevertheless, if you're looking for a great teacher and don't mind the high intensity of lessons, feel free to sign up.

This is a review for teacher Sarah Park. She is an excellent piano teacher who has been patient with my kid in learning music and the piano. She also communicates clearly at each session. You do observe that she has a heart for teaching music to children.

Our family really likes Aureus Academy. My husband and 2 daughters all learn there. What's been most impressive is how they have pivoted to enabling online lessons. I was very sceptical about the value of an online lesson and how much they would be able to accomplish but they have really thought this through. I'm happy to recommend them. Due to the Covid-19, We have to switch to the online lessons. Teacher Mervin has been able to used additional tools to helped my child in his online learning. I think that is also a way to help my child progress during the online lessons. We still benefit from the lessons.
