Visited them 3 weeks ago after I bought the promotional tickets from Lazada. We were worried that it will be intimidating as we have little to no experience in art and Its our first time having art jamming. The guide and the bosses there are so nice and encouraging. They were very patient and accomdated us even though we were so slow to complete our paintings and took more than the allocated 4 hrs. We thoroughly enjoy the session and will definitely return for more. The fellow customers there are so warm and friendly too. Its a great place the bond with kids, family or make new friends.

Had a super fun and enjoyable experience painting our papershoot camera casing!! Dani was patient in guiding us especially with my husband who wasn’t super artistic-inclined! He was funny and engaging - we had a few good belly laughs!! The studio was also very flexible - we were not pressured to finish up even though we obviously overran the schedule. Definitely recommended to anyone who are looking for a fun and unique experience in SG!

Wanted to do something different on my boyfriend's birthday and chance upon this. It was one experience that will be kept in our memory for a long time. Ukulele teacher May shows patience to 2 not so musically inclined person. It was our 1st time holding on a Ukulele. We managed to play and sing happy birthday together. It was such a fun experience. Next up was to paint our Ukulele. Teacher Amanda is such a brilliant artist. She was calm, composed and patient. With her expertise, we managed to come out some ideas of what to paint on our Ukulele. Thank you to both awesome teachers.

We have never felt so welcomed into a space before so thank you so much to the staff staff (shoutout to Dani and Lari) for making the experience so enjoyable! We were there for over 5 hours and the staff were extremely patient and friendly. Merah, the dog is also super cute so that was a plus. Overall a great time spent there and we loved how our artwork turned out (only with the help of the really skilled staff 😄) Definitely would recommend this place if you’re looking for a fun activity to do with friends or a really epic date idea with your partner. No complaints or anything lacking at all! The 5 stars reviews on here are no joke ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It was a wonderful experience with extremely helpful and friendly team members. My friends and I had a great time and it was a birthday celebration so it was a nice gesture that my friend was given a canvas to paint at home. Definitely a must visit for a relaxing time

Had a really fun time with my first paper camera art jamming session! The staffs were super friendly and patient in guiding me during painting. The artworks that were on display in the studio look amazing as well!! Also had a fun conversation with them about kpop too!! 🙃 🤟

It was my first time painting on a canvas so it could be quite nerve-wracking! At first i thought what i wanted to paint would be so complex but the staff helped to give perspectives on how the painting could be accomplished layer by layer, making it so much easier. They were super friendly and helpful to guide you along the way - teaching us useful techniques and giving good ideas on how to proceed and improve our paintings. The environment was very comfortable and cosy too! Highly recommend this place!

100% worth it. Excellent instructors - very talented, very kind, friendly and very much fun. They can scale up and down to match your skill level, so don't worry and just sign up. Had a lot of fun painting a very detailed acrylic painting. I paid for the art jamming workshop but they were kind enough to accommodate my six hours of painting (lol, I didn't really notice how 6 hours just went by!). Happy to say, it's the biggest painting I've done, with very helpful guidance and lots of encouragement from the team to keep going. I've really broken some personal barriers, and I'm very proud of what I've accomplished here. It couldn't have been possible without you both! So, thank you a lot. Needless to say, I'll be sure to drop in everytime I visit SG.

Signed up for the ukulele painting session and it included an one hour ukulele music lesson. All of us had lots of fun painting our unique ukulele, of course with loads of help from both Dani and Mario. Both of them are awesome! So skillful and knowledgeable and full of zest. Really highly recommended for all who are looking for a fun and fulfilling activity!!

My friends were super hyped up about this place and have been recommending me to go. And so, I decided to purchase a session with them for my birthday. It was Jeryl’s first art jamming experience and the studio staff were super patient and helpful. They are more than happy to guide us provided us with helpful tips. Jeryl and I had so much fun today and there was not a single dull moment here. I’ve also learnt a few new paintings techniques and how I can improve. Overall, I had the best birthday in years. Definitely a 10/10 experience!! Thanks a lot guys!! And thank you for the birthday present 😚 They also have a super sweet doggo🥰

A wonderful and fun experience! They were really helpful and even offered to trace out designs that we would like! They taught us some painting techniques as well. Very worth the money too. The music teacher was very patient and taught us how to play some songs!

Took the Ukulele package and the experience was very enjoyable. Had roughly an hour of Ukulele introductory lesson (how to play, how to read notes, chords etc) followed by painting on our own ukulele. Organisers are very patient, helpful and friendly. It was an afternoon well spent.

While Cervon taught us how to play the ukulele, Dani give us acrylic paint lesson. We’ve learnt to play to paint and to string our ukulele all in just a few hours. Staff are so kind, accommodating and amazing! First time to do painting. And They help us a lot, especially the acrylic paint blending (to achieve the gradient) Looks easy but not at all 😂. We really had fun!!

Really fun and chill experience, and the instructor was really patient with us art “noobies” :) Signed up for the trial class with my best friend, and we had so much fun that we ended up extending the session from 1 hour to almost 3-4 hours. Highly recommended

I have to preface this by saying I am terrible at art, but Dani and Mario manage to make me semi-passable. The art jam experience here is singular (and wonderful) in that you can drop by at your allocated time and they will actually coach you through your creative process. Other art jam places just leave you to it without much support, but here you have two lovely new friends who are kind, encouraging and jolly as they teach you to paint! An additional bonus is their super-cute doggy Mero, who receives a regular stream of visitors (and who has paintings made of her!). Fur-parents may wish to take note that the studio is pet-friendly, so your doggo can accompany you as you paint. I genuinely think there isn’t a better art jam studio; they really deserve all the praise they receive, and more. Dani and Mario are sincere in wanting to educate people about the possibilities of art, and great fun besides; I would recommend them to anyone. *Do note that the studio is on the OUTSIDE of the mall, on the second floor, so you’ll have to go up the stairs near the ATMs to find it.

Wonderful first time experience at Avant Garde! You get to learn the basics of playing a Ukelele and also get to design and paint it, which you get to bring it home after the works. The staff are also extremely patient as I'm an amateur in painting, they will help you with the final touch up so you have a beautiful Ukelele to bring back home :)

Had such an amazing time art jamming at Avant Garde! Had come across this gem of an activity via the Sparks App for couples to book date experiences. This was the first time I had picked up a brush since primary school. Thankfully Dani, Mario and Yosua were ever present to guide my partner and I on the correct techniques. Such a pleasure to liaise with Dani from Avant-Garde Art Space. When I requested for an art jam session via email late at night, she replied me within minutes and reconfirmed the next day. The best part was receiving an email from her one to two weeks before the session where she gave some tips on what how I can prepare for the art jam session -'Try to think of something you'd like to paint or work on. May wish to try googling for references too such as sunset acrylic painting'. This part really stands out for me! I truly appreciate her responsiveness and engagement!

Tried the ukulele painting workshop at Avant-Garde Art Space, highly recommend it. Fun, interesting and you got to paint and learn the basic of how to play a ukulele. And u got to use the ukulele, so their workshop are artistic and practical. Which is why i decide to go for it. Definitely going for a 2nd workshop. Also, their guys are friendly and fun, and they are very willing to help you even though i came myself. Dont feel like im just having a lesson or painting workshop, is a day of fun. A must try!
