Reviews of Chess at Three Singapore
Our daughter has been going to Birchguard Quest for a holiday camp and loved it so much that we subsequently signed her up for regular classes. She enjoys the roleplay with her friends, teaming up together to achieve the goal. We have seen her growing and acting more confident when faced with a challenge and when she finds herself in a new environment. The teachers are all great and fun and are amazing helping the new kids ease and adapt into the class! I am looking forward to signing up my other kids for Birchguard Quest!
My child attended Bea and Bops playgroup and thoroughly enjoyed herself. The tutors were animated and engaging and the programme was very well thought out. Definitely highly recommended.
My 3 years old boy did the trial class today, he enjoyed it a lot! He asked us to sign him up for regular class after the trial. <3 The story is funny and he learned to play the King after hearing the stories. The story was narrated in an interesting manner. I would like to see if puppets or pictures can be involved during story telling in future, as younger children are more visual learners.
Did a trial class with Chess at Three and the kids enjoyed it a lot! I was super impressed at how engaged the 3-4yrolds were for the entire hour. By the end of the class, they actually began to learn some basic concepts of the complex game. Will be considering signing up for classes when they open.
I wish I’d had this growing up! I never learned chess because I found it too dry and intimidating. But here, the teachers are super charismatic and engaging for the kids. They make the game very accessible and fun for my two kids (4 and 6) who had never been exposed to chess or any other similar board games before. They now ask to play in their spare time.
Very friendly teachers. Made chess fun for the kids and interesting. Only negative (if any) is that pace of learning is slower, though that helps make it more fun for the kids
A wonderful way to learn chess! The kids were completely immersed in the game and the stories. Mafalda was a great storyteller.
Great class and program! Highly recommend! It's very engaging for the young kids!
Tutor is excellent, very engaging with young children.
Amazing introduction to chess. My kids had the most lively time
Great teacher, my kid loved it !
My son has chosen to keep on coming back to Chess at Three for its unique storytelling based lessons he loves and actual face to face interaction with teachers and friends. To him, it's so much more than just a chess lessons.
