Mr Xavier is a very approachable and friendly tutor. His GP lessons are very interactive and insightful. I have learnt a lot of interesting facts about the world. He is also very encouraging and patient towards his students. There is a good balance of content and skills in his lessons. Highly recommend Mr Xavier to anyone who needs help with GP!

Mr Xavier is an extremely engaging and knowledgable GP tutor. His lessons are always entertaining and interesting. A really dedicated tutor, he goes out of his way spending extra time to help us with our work to ensure that we obtain sufficient practice before our exams. Mr Xavier is a passionate teacher that will always make GP lessons seem more fun and engaging. Mr Xavier has a wide pool of knowledge across different topics and would teach his students how to link topics together using the same pool of content. Mr Tong is a very good General Paper tutor because he encourages critical thinking and discourages spoon feeding. Always willing to help his students, Mr Tong always try his best to schedule his free time to offer consultation sessions and is always available to answer our questions by text or email. His classes are very interactive and engaging as he focuses on letting us brainstorm on points about topics for paper 1. He equips us with the necessary skills needed for paper 2 and provides us with materials to work on also. Mr Tong is a very encouraging tutor, who enjoys good rapport with his students. I've improved tremendously under his guidance and GP became something I enjoyed, instead of feared.

With a S following a mid-year E grade in my promotional exams in 2013 I found myself clinging on to dear life in JC. 4 months later I managed a comfortable B and my subject tutor praised herself for bringing out the 'talent in writing' in me. A full year from the promotional exams I clinched an A on the final report card of my post secondary education. A distinction for the A' Levels. A good teacher is what you need. And a good teacher is what you can find here. One that marks your assignments on time and decorates it with red ink on points for improvement, provides you with the relevant information you will need on developing the skills for both papers and sparks the interest in you to learn about all things present and past- how events came to be. Definitely, you will cultivate a critical-thinking mind here, as well. I did it, certainly because both tutor and student believed I could. Mr Xavier Tong speaks of me to his students as someone like no other. I convey to you, that he is some tutor, like no other.
