Thank you, GUG, for providing my 2 girls with an amazing nursery to K2 experience. The Teachers were very loving and dedicated to provide for every child’s specific needs and care. And Teachers were able to work closely with parents to bring out the best in each child. GUG way of teaching phonics and literacy was tremendously helpful for my girls. And the hands-on teaching methods provided them with lasting memory of lessons taught, be it social skills or science experiments. We like how the school curriculum is both academically strong and teaches good values, particularly empathy and mindfulness.

A big thank you to the team at GUG!! Its been a long time coming for me to show my gratitude to all at GUG. Recently bumped into one of the teachers with my kids at Tampines Mall, my kids still recognized her and gave her a big hug. Was informed that GUG has opened a school in Tampines. My girls went to GUG and are all grown up now. I have been posted to New Zealand and the UK and one of my biggest worry was if our kids would be able to cope with the change in environment and education exposure. Am glad to let all parents looking into a preschool that the experience you get from GUG is internationally relevant. We are back in Singapore now and I wish GUG all the success in their growth and expansion. Kudos to all teachers past and present!!

My girl has been going to GUG Tampines for almost 6 months now and we absolutely love it.. I can see the growth and learning everyday, she have evolved from being a shy and reserved child to a confident kid while at GUG ! All of the teachers we come across at GUG is very loving and caring ; a special shoutout to Teacher Ash; she is a really caring and dedicated teacher, to make sure my girl learn her phonics properly, she request for us to use a face shield instead of face mask during lesson so that she can see how she mouthed and pronounces her words, another incident at GUG which i felt very touched is while my girl is undergoing toilet training she will sometimes still wet herself , so i offered to her teachers for her to wear diaper, but Teacher Ash says no ... they will prefer to take her to washroom so that she can be properly toilet trained, it is going to be more hassle for them but they put they child interest first. I really appreciate the dedication of the teachers at GUG and also how nice and approachable Principal Adil is . And best of all, the children at GUG all seem very happy there. I am heartened to know during work that my child is in a caring environment and learning well.This is the FIRST full day preschool I have seen my girl so happy and enjoy going ; You know it is an amazing place when they don’t ever want to leave at pick up. As the curriculum at GUG is very comprehensive, from phonics to chinese to maths to music to science and even robotic.. etc , we do not need to send my child to any additional enrichment program, we have more time to focus on bonding at home . It is certainly a great preschool. 👍🏻👍🏻

I am glad to have made the right choice to move my child to GUG Tampines. The whole orientation, enrolment with the Principal Ms Adil was very smooth. In fact, during the pandemic, she went above and beyond to update me on my child’s enrolment date, useful tips/home activities and updates on the centre’s situation. The school is very well maintained, they practice and enforce good hygiene and the curriculum is superb, so much fun and interesting. All the teachers are genuinely very caring, patience and practice open communication. I have seen significant improvement in his academics within a couple of months. He mastered reading storybook on his own and I can see that he is having so much fun with phonic lesson. He looks forward to imaginary play, music/dancing, and show and tell session. Always coming home sharing wonderful stories. Thank you GUG @ Tampines!

We recently moved from another school to GUG. We’ve seen significant improvements our daughter’s academic and social abilities. She’s now more confident about herself. The school also responded to the pandemic very well. They’ve kept a safe environment and open communication with us as parents. The student:teacher ratio is also just right. My daughter explains that she feels more heard and involved in class now. I highly recommend GUG. It’s important to give our children a good starting environment to learn, and I’m so Glad that GUG Teachers fight very hard each day to provide this.

My younger daughter had been with GUG since 8 month, from the Novena branch all the way to the Tampines branch. In fact, my elder daughter who is now 14 years old was also a former GUG student. We transferred our highly sensitive 3 year old daughter out from a neighbourhood childcare centre into GUG in hope that she can receive better care and attention. GUG more than exceeded our expectations. From the first day, I was impressed at how respectful and kind the teachers were to every child. The teachers assigned friends to help my daughter with her transition and communicated daily with us on ways to sensitively attend to her. She was barely reading the alphabet before she joined GUG. Within 3 months, she was reading 3-letter words with confidence and immense pleasure. The curriculum is intensive but it is always delivered in a fun way and my daughter tells me how much she enjoys school. We have seen how much our daughter blossomed emotionally and academically. Even her health has improved because she has been sleeping better!

My son has been with GUG preschool (Tampines) for the past half year and I’m glad that he always returns home with a smile. To be honest, I have been particularly cautious in my choice. Being a first time mother, I wish to provide the best for him - not in terms of whether the school is prestige or not but primarily a place where he can acquire the necessary knowledge and skills for a smooth transition to primary school in years to come. I got to know about GUG preschool by chance and this was after a period of researching and visits to a few other preschools. GUG seems to be rather low profile as compared to others that are widely advertised. I brought my son along for the open house. We like the school environment - very new, clean and neat, a conducive environment. The principal and teachers gave off positive vibes. The small ratio of teachers and students for each class. I’m convinced. It was tough at the first instance adjusting my son to school which is very common. However, the principal and teachers are very assuring. They sent photos and messages to keep us updated especially for the first few days. During the Circuit breaker period, the principal has been very prompt in updating parents about the plans, even during weekends. We never have to be left hanging with burning questions. Teachers have also been very proactive in suggesting activities we can do with our child at home. I am very appreciative because I know not all preschools can keep up with this. I’m glad to have made this choice. I hope my son enjoys this learning journey with GUG.

GUG has a superb and inspiring team. We enrolled my son in GUG after several cuts from different preschools because we did not see any significant results. It has been nearly 6 months and he has improved leaps and bounds since attending the classes in GUG. The zoophonics was extremely useful in introducing the alphabets to him. My son has managed to master the alphabets in less than 4 months and he has since related the phonics techniques that GUG teaches to every single new word that he acquires in a day to day basis. His vocabulary bank has also expanded greatly, and his self expression is a wonder to the family. We are all amazed at his progress and his knowledge of certain themes which we believed GUG had in place in the structured curriculum. We are truly thankful we chose the right school in embarking my son in the world of fun and interactive learning.

We were with GUG since our son Neil was just 1 year old, till he joined Primary School. GUG's academic curriculum is excellent. It has enabled Neil breeze through Primary 1. He did very well for all his Primary 1 subjects last year . GUG helped to build strong foundation for his English, Chinese and Maths. GUG curriculum is one of the most superior, fun, interesting and enjoyable preschool in Singapore. GUG has well-rounded teaching for studies and characters building, while balancing studies and play. The Teachers and Principal are patient and compassionate. Neil enjoyed the school environment in GUG. We are so proud of him and grateful that we did the right choice for choosing GUG Preschool! I have been to a few preschools before deciding on GUG. I am so glad that I’ve made the right choice. The school is very clean and the program is very well structured. My girl has learnt a lot in school and even mastered reading storybooks on her own in a very short span of time. I am happy that she enjoys school.

My daughter, Nicole, started GUG in the N1 class. The teachers exercised flexibility in allowing the grandma to accompany her for the first week of class. The teachers were very caring and attentive towards Nicole and that made her settle down very quickly. When Nicole first joined, she was shy, timid and did not have the confidence to interact and speak up in class. Her teachers were always assuring and constantly encouraged her to participate in the class activities. I would like to highlight that the “Show & Tell” sessions were especially beneficial to Nicole Initially, Nicole needed help from the teachers to prompt her in what to say but as time went by, Nicole was able to present the items without any help from the teachers! I believe these “Show & Tell” sessions had helped to build up her confidence level tremendously. As Nicole progressed to Kindergarten 1 (K1) where there were more written work as compared to N1, the K1 teachers realized that Nicole was quite slow in her written work as she was always the last few to complete her work. After observing her for a few days, the teachers realized that she was always erasing the words which she has written and she claimed that her words were not neat. I was quite surprised when the teachers highlighted this issue to me as Nicole did not behave that way at home. I tried to find out the reason and found that as Nicole wanted to show her teachers the “perfect handwriting” thus, she kept erasing and re-writing until she deemed they were perfect. After I found the root cause, I worked together with the teachers to try to let Nicole accept her not-so-perfect handwriting. We assured her that as long as her handwriting was legible, it need not be perfect. We also told her that in future during the exams in primary school, there would be a time limit to complete the exam papers. A perfect handwriting would not help in scoring points if the exam papers were incomplete. Gradually, Nicole understood the fact and she no longer erases and rewrites her work. Today, Nicole is in K2 and she is now a confident, eloquent and a happy child. With the help of loving and passionate teachers and the creative and all-rounded syllabus at Growing Up Gifted, Nicole has definitely enjoyed her education at GUG. A BIG thank you to all the teachers and staff at GUG for giving Nicole such a memorable and fun-filled pre-school experience! :)

The staff, grounds and administration of this preschool are simply amazing. Our interactions with staff were professional and personal and far exceeded normal expectations. We really liked the grounds and the set-up of the center. It was child focused but somehow orderly.
