In secondary school, I struggled with additional mathematics, which made me fear studying H2 Mathematics in Junior College. However, since Mr Terence Chia began teaching me, I felt that I could understand concepts that seemed difficult better as he would use interesting analogies and anecdotes to tie back into the mathematical principles, which allowed me to fare better in maths. However, I still struggled with problems such as carelessness. Mr Chia helped me with devising several ways to combat this issue, such as cultivating the habit of checking immediately after obtaining an answer. A day before A-levels, he came to my home to answer any burning questions although I did not book a slot, which touched me and showed me that Mr Chia definitely cares for his students. In the end, I managed to achieve an A for H2 Mathematics which was definitely not a result I would have expected when I was in secondary school, and Mr Chia played a huge role in helping me to achieve this outcome. Thank you Mr Chia!

My son Justin Ong has been with Higher Nucleus Lesrning Studio for two years 2022-2023. Mr Chia has been a superb Math tutor and without his guidance, Justin wouldn’t have gotten an A for his Math A levels. He is always ready to help, even beyond the classroom.
