This library was visited few times in the span of 15 years. Still impressed by its cleanliness, calm and peaceful atmosphere in addition to the silent air, the display of new arrivals also catch my eyes. Always full of study-loaded students and other book-lovers, you will still find a seat for enjoying some books or surfing internet on the provided PC's as the library is very spacious. Remarkably, there is a vast collection of books.

The Jurong Regional Public Library is a fantastic resource for the community and a haven for book lovers! The library is spacious, well-organized, and offers a wide variety of books, magazines, and multimedia resources for all ages. My rating: 5/5 What I like in libraries: Books that are available that I originally have on my online To-Be-Read (TBR). Spacious environments. Multiple book genres. Once you enter and walk forward a few steps and turn to the right, you’ll notice these three long green sofas. I think that, if for some reason, you can’t find a seat on the floors above, the green sofas are a good place to sit. Also because they are comfy. They also have some green seats near the escalator. Once you have reached the second floor, you’ll see 5 black seats, almost back to back, and that’s also a nice area to sit. If you keep walking straight after reaching the second floor by escalator, you’ll notice a few tables close to the windows, and that’s good for studying, using your computers, and reading. They also have DVDs, and you can also test them. If you walk back to the escalator and turn to the right, you’ll notice this big section of shelves and just space basically. And that’s a good place to study. They also have Chinese, Malay, and more. Once you’ve reached level 3, you’ll notice straight away that there’s this large section for the Singapore Collection. On the fourth floor there are teen books. Once you reach the top of the escalators you’ll see a big sign that says ‘Verging all teens’. Once you’ve found a book you can go to the right and there are a few seats and a big open space. There is a good selection of books. There are horror, science fiction, and more. At the side of the shelf there usually is a cover of a book that many people liked, and the description of the book. Overall, I would say the Jurong Regional library is a nice and spacious library to do many things. It’s also a nice library if you’re a student, and a good place to come with your friends.

This library is SO cool! Firstly, it's so big which means that there will be a wide range of books! Secondly, there are so many seats for people of all ages to sit on👍. I enjoy going to this library a lot to spend my free time!

Nice library with ample of space and great selection of books. The customer service is very very good. I wanted to print a document from my email but I do not have an library account. He guided me how to login with hp number and how to use the printer and computer. Price: 1 pc black and white= $0.30; computer usage, 15 mins= $0.45. Can pay buy net and credit card.

Lots of books, e-newspapers (local and international via their in-house computers), magazines for the very young and actually for all ages. Great for those who needed a quiet place to read, study too. Can also take a coffee/tea break at their in-house Pallman Café.

Come early to get a good seat and book it, very crowded all day on weekends, less so on weekdays. Overall a great big library with a very conducive study environment and chairs that you can sit on for hours comfortably (I am a relatively tall guy)

Big, spacious. Four floors excluding the basement. Enough seats for hundreds. Come visit before it is demolished to build yet another Condominium. I guess libraries are no longer a priority for the Singapore government.

The library is very big (it’s 4 storey high) has a huge collection of books. However I just want to laugh at silly and absolutely unnecessary way that the librarians put up barricades to restrict more people from entering at one time and forcing people to queue up to enter a huge and empty library on a weekday morning. It’s like this obsession to queue is cast in Singaporeans’ genes and the management and librarians here have zero common sense. It’s not like people are fighting to enter to get a table or seat either as this place is really huge and has no shortage of seats at all especially on a weekday morning. Singaporeans really like rules and queues I get it, but maybe need some common sense too. Also the other reviewer is right about the children’s book section smelling moldy and very dark hiding in the basement. I didn’t find any lift or escalator down to it either.

A quiet place to spend the day. The WiFi is strong and free (somewhat like USA 😅). Ample natural lighting makes the place conducive for reading. Lots of comfy sofas and furniture for readers and students finding for a place to study.

4 storey library. Huge space for reading and studying. Huge comic selection. Its easy to find a seat. Condition is bright and airy making it perfect place to read and feel relaxed. Cafe at first level. However i find the price of the food is quite expensive, therefore i wont suggest the visit.

Huge library that's decorated really well and has lots of reading seats. Really like the library. Only thing to take note is that it's constantly filled with students studying. Went on Tuesday at around 3pm and most spaces have been taken up.

Had a great reading experience here. The library authority does an excellent job everyday maintaining strict silence and thus making a perfect ambience for studying. Pros: 1) High speed free WiFi 2) Large collection of books and magazines of all genres 3) Vast space for book readers and also e-readers. 4) Sockets are installed almost everywhere to encourage e-readers. 5) Pin-drop silent ambience makes it the perfect place to read with peaceful mind. Cheers to the library staff for their priceless efforts!

Wide selection of books to choose from. From the size of it, this is one of the biggest libraries in Singapore, though not the biggest. Library has a quiet environment ideal for reading and studying. Jurong Regional Library is my go-to library in the area whenever I want to borrow new books.

Conducive environment to study / work in. Wide range and variety of books for all ages with categories from Thrillers to Documentaries. A quiet and peaceful place for everyone to come by just to have some alone time. The librarians are super friendly and helpful when it comes to questions and enquires you have. They know every crook and cranny of the library. From time to time, the library have events such as Story Telling for the younger ones and group book reviews for the teenagers! But due to the Covid-19 situation, it has disrupted many of such activity. Overall, I would recommend you to come by and check it out yourself. Come and borrow some books for FREE but also remember to return them by the DATELINE given.

The library printing services was a lifesaver when I needed to print my bank statement in a hurry, saved me $20 from getting my statement from a local bank branch. The printing services are easy to use, the lady staff from the information desk was very helpful. Only hiccup was just slow-ish OTP sent to my phone for logging into the PC. Overall a great experience, keep it up!

This library is many things: family-friendly, kids friendly, elderly and just an all around oasis for people who needs a place to relax, read, and just be. It is conveniently located near to jurong east MRT. Go and pay a visit and you'll end up paying more visits on a regular basis.
