Dear Teacher Jaya, I hope you are doing well. I am writing this letter to thank you for helping me improve my English composition and comprehension. Before, I used to find it difficult to write good stories and understand some of the passages we read in class. But with your help, I have gotten much better. You always explain things so clearly and your feedback on my composition has really helped me learn how to write better. I also feel more confident when I read and understand different texts now. Teacher Shazli is responsible and committed to ensuring students understand the lesson. He makes an effort to stay back after class to explain to my daughter and regularly update parents on progress. Charlene Chee has progress well under his guidance and enjoyed his lessons very much !

Mr Shazli is my science teacher. Whenever I have a query, he will always try to answer it. He highlights key concepts and takes time to explain the open ended questions in each worksheet. Whenever my friends or I need help on how to answer the question, no matter how hard it is, he always helps me with my question. Dear teacher Jaya: When I first met you , My English was not that good . You kept scolding me for being lazy and I always felt your class was boring . WA1 I got 16\30 I was every upset with myself, but after attending your class for over 40 weeks. I wanted to quit the class, but when I got back my WA2. I got 21/30 I was so happy that I improved by 5 marks, after seeing my marks I told my mother not to quit the class . Teacher Jaya , you have made me improve you are one of my favorite teacher. My MS teacher is Mrs Poh. I would first like to thank her for contributing to my Pri 6 to Sec 2 math journey! I remember hating maths with a burning passion in primary 5 because I could not get the concepts right and was frustrated whenever I couldn't solve a question, but after I've met Mrs Poh, my perspective of maths changed. She is one of the most patient and caring teachers I've ever met. Her patience and simple explanations helped me understand concepts fast and clearly, and my scores have also improved drastically when I joined her. She takes time and effort to ensure that each and every one of her students understand the concept taught, and even offered to have extra sessions when a student have missed out on class. She teaches with care and I do not feel confused at all whenever I listen to her classes. I love that she always bring sweets for her students as a form of encouragement/reward and I find that really nice :) Thank you Mrs Poh for everything and wishing you a Happy Teachers' Day!!🙏🙏

Dear Teacher Jaya,I am Roy,a student in your class on recuring thursdays .I am writing this post to deeply express my gratitude to you for helping me from my primary 3 journey until now. First and foremost,the teaching methods you use help me a lot,for example I used to think I was useless at writing compositions until Teacher Jaya helped me to use good phrases instead of simple and bland words like "sad,angry,happy" .Now writing compositions is right up my alley! Not only that, many students fall into the all too common pitfall of the highly feared "Compre OE" where most students would still fail it dispite their best efforts and attempts. To me,that was the only gap between me and getting a good score for english.After Teacher Jaya's help though,I have been facing the challenge I once feared with all my tips like annotating and reading the question properly.During the mindstretcher prelim,I received a rewarding 18/20 for the Compre OE! My daughter got AL 1 for her English in PSLE this year, I can’t believe she can do it. She got only AL 5 in Primary 5 and her composition was only 20/40. MS writing lessons really helped her a lot, she learned how to plot a story, many writing techniques and a lot of good phrases. The teacher always explained in details and marked the homework with hearts. Thank you teacher!
