Ms. Chen is an excellent math teacher! She teaches in a straightforward, patient, and student-centered manner. She instills confidence and a solid mathematical foundation by simplifying even the most difficult subjects. With careful explanations and lots of practice, Ms. Chen goes above and beyond to make sure her students are successful. Her advice has really enhanced my comprehension of mathematical topics!!

My daughter Ashlee Chua was learning under Ms Chen from 2020 to 2024, taking Secondary E Maths and Science tutoring classes. Ms Chen is a very patient tutor and my daughter’s confidence and grades improved tremendously. Ashlee achieved A1 for both subjects for her ‘N’ level exams. My daughter has joined Mr Zhou 's PSLE math Masterclass for over last 1 year, and she said Mr Zhou is a great math teacher, who makes things much easier for math, and with his sense of humour the lessons become more interesting and relaxing. Over the last one year, my daughter has always achieved AL1 for math and hopefully this PSLE as well. Thanks very much Mr. Zhou! I have read some parent's negative comment below, I would like to share this: when I first contacted the centre, I could not get a slot for my daughter for small group class due to the classes being full and even having a long waiting list. No choice I had to wait for more than half a year later till Jun 23 to be able to enroll her into this PSLE Masterclass. My daughter said kids in her class are smart and fast, even has some GEP students. If your kids are good at math, and you want to boost their ability further, this is the right class. Mr. Zhou is a very nice teacher who is willing to do extra to help the kids, countless times I had to wait outside class for 10-15 min even though class time already ended. So it is not nice to see those negative comments which are not true. Hope my comments help in choosing the right tutor for your kids.

The Nicklebee tutors materials contain many challenging questions that helped me in my P6 mathematics, which allowed me to get AL1 for the 2024 PSLE mathematics exam. The tutor is very good at teaching PSLE mathematics using simple but effective methods & heuristics that helps everyone to understand. The tutor also makes the lessons very fun and enjoyable!

Very useful lessons and learnt a lot of math heuristic skills for PSLE math. I attended pri 4 to pri 6 math lessons with Mr Zhou. I am now still attending secondary math lessons here at nicklebee tutors with the secondary teacher Ms Chen and it is helping me a lot with algebra.

Expensive does not always mean it's good , however in this case it's totally worth the money spent . My daughter has been with mr Zhou for a year of p4 tuition, as her results in p3 were mostly band 2 with the highest being 80 before she started. I have read many gd reviews and decided to put her under mr Zhou as I didn't want to waste time at other centers that may not deliver results . After starting off for a few months, she seems to show improvement being more confident in solving the math problems and I rarely have to help her. Then in p4 sa1 , the miraculous happens for the first time in a long time when she did well by scoring 87. In the recent sa2 her results shot up to 95. Needless to say , i was completely blown over by the great results. She wouldn't have done it without the tutelage of mr Zhou. My daughter finds him fierce and strict but in the end it has benefittted her greatly . I'm extremely pleased and thankful for the great teaching imparted to my child by this wonderful tutor. I highly recommend him. If you can afford the fees, definitely start early so that your child can have a good foundation in math and problem solving will not be a challenge but a breeze. I'm glad to have taken the plunge and my child now enjoys math , when previously it was one of her least fav subject after Chinese .

Math Teacher Yan Ta has been a good friend and mentor to me for the last 2 years here at NickleBee Tutors. Thanks to his tutelage, I have been doing well for International Baccalaureate Math. I can’t think of any other math teacher who is as passionate and as caring as him.
