Reviews of Presence Pictures
My kids have been attending for the past 6 year since they were K2. Presence Pictures offers a very unique curriculum which initially started with hands on to grasp spatial awareness, perception, 3D dimensional drawing, to translating into creating their own virtual world & animations!
Owners - Eunice & Edmund, are also very passionate in constantly refining the program with the metaverse environment, with virtual reality & augmented reality. Glad my kids are all geared up and ready for preparation into the new world. 😊
I find the VR/AR curriculum highly engaging for the younger generation, and the teachers teaches more than the technical coding and drawing skills. There are learning opportunities which exposes the kids to team work, show casing, entrepreneurship and mentorship. My daughter has been attending for the last 5 years (since kindergarten) and she has enjoyed every class.
Excellent and unique VR/AR curriculum which also exposes the kids to presentation, entrepreneurship and mentorship where my daughter has been attending for the last 5 years (since kindergarten). Owners/founders are extremely passionate and are constantly refining the program as the kids grow and progress.
My child has been attending Presence Pics fr K2 till now P5 and he has been enjoying every single bit of it and learned a great deal from the dedicated teachers who are all the founders themselves.
Unlike normal coding schools (my son attended a holiday Scratch course at another coding school and found it too boring), here they emphasize a lot on the creative problem solving and motivational aspects. They hold showcase events (sometimes at public spaces like museums) where students invite their friends to come experience their VR/AR creations and play games inside. My boy is immensely proud of these events and looks forward to every one of them. Imagine not even adults like us get a chance like this to showcase our amateurish creations to the world, so the impact of this to the children is priceless. This is the truly unique aspect of this school. I can't find this element in the usual Robotics, Python, Scratch coding schools, and I tend to feel these language/platform specific skills are too early for kids.
Here they deal with more interesting things like digital art, 3D spatial thinking and modelling, coding logic of animations, AR / VR immersive media creation and such, things that are easier for kids to grasp and yet can help them in computational thinking and pave the way for their future.
If you want to help your kids discover the joys of creation , and be inspired to be a lifelong creator, this is certainly a school that you should consider.
