Ariel has been with School of Concepts for phonics class since Feb 2024. Over the last 6 months she has shown great improvement in reading interest and has become more expressive. Every week, she is excited to be there and enjoys learning and making crafts! Teacher Hani and staff are all very loving n helpful towards her. We are grateful to have enrolled her in the school :)

As a non-native English speaker, we speak another language at home, and my children used to struggle with English at school and while expressing themselves with friends. However, I enrolled my kids in SOC early on, and now they have significantly improved in phonics and English literacy. This has also contributed to their holistic development. I strongly recommend SOC to other parents!

My son has been always looking forward to attend the lesson. And his spelling improve after going for the lesson. Teachers explain clearly after each lesson that makes us understand what our kids have learn for the day and will recap what they have learn before to let the kids remember.

My son has been with SOC since his preschool days and I have seen great progress in his command of language. The teachers there are truly dedicated and patience, which encourages the kids to enjoy the whole learning process. Aside that, detailed updates are also provided for your child after each lesson and that is truly helpful indeed!

Truly a recommendable place for your child to be in. The front staff were all very accommodating friendly. Teachers were all great. I simply does not have any issues with the teachers. The only reason why we stopped is due to its location. If only SOC were to open in north east. We would definitely enrol our child. Teacher will speak to the parent after every lesson about child progression. Affordable also.

Enrolled my elder son in this centre and later my younger daughter. Have also recommended this place to a lot of other people and we all agree this is the place for your kid to be in to learn phonics! The teachers are wonderful, patient, syllabus is good and the centre provides good support. Class size is small hence better focus and more personalized for the kids. Highly recommended!

I have seen great improvements in my son’s command of the language even since we started phonics classes with SOC. My son enjoys the classes and looks forward to the classes weekly. Lessons and materials are also well structured and the teacher provides detailed status update after every class.

Started my child at SOC (singpost) after seeing many good reviews online as I wanted to find a place to improve his diction and his penmanship for letters. Before attending SOC, he was unable to write the basic letters. After 2 Terms (completing the full 26 letters), he is now able to write confidently for all the letters and we saw good improvement in his pronunciation. The school also exposed him to more vocabulary. My son looks forward to attention the classes with dedicated Teachers and colourful syllabus. Thank you SOC!

We have been bringing our son here more than a year now. He enjoys the teaching program here as well as the friendly staff and teachers there are very supportive and encouraging and warm welcoming him while he's there. This class helps him to cope with the learning difficulty he's facing within his preschool curriculum that he previously couldn't come around to catch up with the other classmates on English. After attending SOC, we can see a significant improvement in his English literacy from spelling, reading to writing. While he still may not yet fully catching up with his peers in the preschool, we still think it's better to let him learn at his own, comfortable pace with additional help from enrichment class from SOC to re-emphasize and compliment what he has learned in the preschool and help him to correct what he might have misunstood or missed out earlier in the preschool. Lastly, we could see that SOC would still be benefit to help him setup a strong foundation in his further education and learning experience in the years to come.

School of Concept (SoC) offers structured yet interactive way of teaching and we do see our children gaining confidence and conceptual knowledge through the lessons. The teachers are engaging and patient, we’re glad that our children enjoy the lessons very much.

My daughter started taking lessons here to since she was in K2 preparing to enter P1. She had attended many tutoring classes elsewhere, but she could never concentrate and was unwilling to listen in those classes. Since she joined SOC, she has been able to concentrate and is eager to listen in class. In the past 6 years, her grades went from the bottom of the class to top three in the class for all her subjects. I witness how she become more and more eager to learn as she grew older. She recently collected her PSLE ​​results and I am proud to share that my daughter was first in the class! I felt so proud as a father as I watched her go on stage at school.

It’s been only 5 months since my boy joined the class with teacher Jocelyn and I can see obvious improvements in him. Before this, he was not able to read at all and is unwilling to. He is now able to read simple words and although he cannot blend words well yet he attempts to do so and has shown creativity in his drawings. He now looks forward to reading a few mini books with me before bedtime - which he never had the interest to do so prior to attending the class. Post each lesson, teacher Jocelyn would also review his progress for the day so I know how he did for each class. Aunty Carol has also been really helpful too in providing administrative help on term schedule, reminders etc so I don’t have much tracking to do. Thank you SoC!

I credit SoC with my 7 year old’s love for reading. He is also doing very well when it comes to spelling despite not revising the words prior (I know I shouldn’t encourage that) but I’m glad he is able to “study smart” and use his phonics knowledge to his advantage. I’m so convinced by SoC that my 4 year old is also attending it now. The teachers are great and my children love their SoC experience.

Would highly recommend sending kids here to learn how to read. Both my kids love their classes here and looks forward to every class because they think it’s fun. The teachers and staff here are obviously very committed and clearly adore the kids too.
