I really like the Serangoon library because there is a specific section where there are about 15 seats alone (near the entrance) And I think that's very helpful. There also is a children's section for 10-12 year olds and a 6-8 year old section right next to the 10-12 section. They also have comics for people that like to read comics. Close to the entrance. They have this display of books and I've picked a few books from the display that I've liked so that's very nice. There is a fairly large section for Fiction and I am a Fiction fan so that's great for me. There are multiple computers there too. I don't know if it's the best place to study as a student though. But the library's location is really nice because just one level down (after you exit the library) there's a mall. I personally really like the mall because there's a Fair Price Xtra, restaurants, gadget stores and more. I wish there were more isolated seats instead of many at a certain section. The location outside of the library and mall is also nice because there is a bus station and a taxi station. Overall I would say that the Serangoon library is a very nice library to visit.

One of the quieter library. It has a kids section and compared to other kids section in other library, this is one of the quieter ones. The other part of the library is definitely quiet, on a Sunday afternoon. Has a toilet outside the library, handicapped accessible.

quite ok, but very few seats and the children are very noisy. I spent a long time looking for it when I first went there. It turned out to be on the top floor.

Top floor of Nex mall(near Serangoon mrt), has a lot of open rooftop area outside. You can plan your shopping, walking with quiet reading time :)

Simply love our libraries. Got this book for my kids and they are loving it. We are now the watching Star Wars movies and read the book at the same time. It's very comprehensive and fascinating!

It is very quiet and there lot of space for people to read and enjoy the silent and cooling and comfortable chair to relax. But make sure don’t fall asleep the librarian will come to wake up.

It is a pretty small library that only have one storey. However, the book collection is very nice and books can be found easily. It has cozy chairs and study table. A good place to spend time at.

Serangoon library has a decent collection of comic books and Singlit books (hope there can be another shelf!). Comfy chairs and even a charging station! However, I've noticed that it's been very noisy (on more than one occasion). Poor library etiquette from patrons (i.e. watching videos loudly on the phone, talking to each other). Staff are not around to remind patrons to be quiet. Quite disappointed with how the library has been. Other libraries are quite quiet, but Serangoon is not.

Conveniently located in a mall with 2 MRT lines and a bus interchange. Has good variety and range of books. Can get quite crowded and seats are hard to come by especially near exam period.

Very good place for students, was skeptical when looking at photos as I didn't find any spots or tables for older students to study and work. However I found a desk just for that.

Nice cosy n small library. It was rather annoying though when the library assistant hovered around me and my daughter as we browsed the shelf we were keen in. She then went on tidy up the very row of books we were looking through and arranging the already neat shelf so we had to stand aside for her. Did she really have to at that mome ? Maybe after us ? It felt like an unpleasant shopping experience with one of those salesperson neatening up every item you have touched . And we were not making a mess or anything . Plus she put back the book we have picked out to borrow too. Anyone else had this experience ? Is it the normal etiquette in libraries here ?

I was ok but like I was only for abt 7 min as I just wanted to stop myself from sweating alot. (I sweat alot even sometimes mall aircon can't keep me from stop sweating. ) Loved the library but I heard from a friend that she got like kicked out from the kids section before.

The library is centrally located in the Serangoon next plaza in level 4 R. It is modern and equipped well with the books . There are several TOP books in good topics available here both in fiction and non fiction side . The kids collection is very large and informative . Wifi is available in the premises. No food is allowed inside . Water can be taken in . The library staff are accommodative and kind . The library some times becomes too crowded especially during the exam season . Other than that it is a place worth your visit in this area.

I like to read newspaper here using Bang & Olufsen computer screen. Lots to read and enjoy the experience.There are digital representives to help ppl with their handphones should there be a problem. Like.

Librarian was very helpful with regards to my query on renewal on behalf of my daughter in law. Great variety for preschoolers too in English as well as the different languages.
