My 8 year old was drawn to the sound of the flute and showed interest in learning it. As a niche instrument, I imagined finding the right flute teacher might be a challenge but Rita was really helpful in finding us a teacher who fit our needs. Flute coach Vincent has been an excellent coach in navigating the steep uphill climb that is picking up a new instrument. During weekly flute lessons, he has been very patient with her, and my daughter has not once felt deterred by the challenge.

I found Stradivari Strings online and decided to check it out as they were one of the only studios to offer rentals - I had not decided whether or not I wanted to purchase a cello yet. Rita was friendly and accommodating. To help me make my decision, she set aside time after my first lesson for the selection process. She very patiently explained to me the pros and cons between and rental cello, those that were for sale and the different impact each one would make on my learning journey. First time to use premium horse hair from Siberia, the sound becomes much richer After a few years, I visit the shop again in Nov 2024 and this time I purchase an antique french bow made of Pernambuco wood. Wanting to learn the violin since young and with the encouragement from a friend who used to learn and want to pick it up again, I came across Stradivari Strings while looking for a violin. It was very interesting yet intriguing experience selecting the violin as I’ve no prior knowledge of violin. My violin needed repair work on the fingerboard, the bridge, the tuning pegs, the overall set up and the replacement of strings. I arranged an appointment with Stradivari Strings (violin and cello shop). The luthier Michal did a fantastic job with all the repairs, and it took only 4 days to get my violin back. Even though I stored my violin for 2 years, it played significantly better, and I would definitely come back should I need any future repairs. I also selected a better balanced Brazilwood violin bow from the shop. Highly recommended!

I had a bit of an accident with my violin while replacing strings. The bridge toppled over which caused the tailpiece to land on the top plate. This resulted in some damage to the top plate. Rita was very helpful and arranged a meeting to review the situation. Her luthier completed the repairs very quickly.
