I am so glad to have stumbled upon Heng’s massive collection of agarwood from all over Asia. Going to his shop is an experience of its own, from the welcoming layout of the store, the lingering smell, and the relaxing feeling of steeped gaharu tea. If you’re someone like me who loves natural scents, you will be mindblown! You can tell he is very passionate in what he does, it shows through the way he patiently explains the difference in qualities of woods from different region. I’m sure by the way he shares he can convince even the most ignorant person to appreciate the world of agarwood. Whether you’re just wanting to make your room smell nice or you’re a serious collector, there’s something there in his tiny shop for everyone.

I was at Aloesincense on Sunday and the experience was excellent! Google review only has 5 stars, the place deserves 10 stars. Plus I don't normally write reviews, this is an exception. We went to just checkout the shop not intending to buy anything. We left there with quite a few different types incense. The atmosphere was very warm and welcoming. We tried quite a lot of different incense not at any one time Heng(Zhi Wen) who attended to us show resentfulness. I definitely recommend this shop.
