🔵 Capitol Singapore is a heritage building that has been refurbished into a shopping mall with a drama theatre. 🟨 People used to go there to watch movies at Capitol Cinema. ( I am talking about 1950s till 1990s. It is a popular shopping mall.in the heart of the city. 🟩 I come here at times to the cafes & restaurant. ✅️ It is a majestic building now renovated and converted into a spanking new mall.

Capitol Theatre is an amazing place especially for night photography at the huge sign board. Went to the d4vd concert and had a blast of a time.

A lot of affordable food options at Food Republic, beautifully designed, revamped and spacious. I can hang out here all day 😋 Nalan serves tasty vegetarian Indian food. Now there's also 7/11 when you walk towards the MRT Station. If you're coming from City Hall, Jjst prepare your Trace Together token, though. Otherwise you'll get stuck at the entrance as it is an automated gantry now.

The Capitol theater was built many decades ago. The place was built in the 1930s. Now, it has gone through transformation, major construction and new design settings. The theater no longer functions as a commercial cinema as before. The place has a belt of luxury brand outlets for shoppers. There is a shopping mall and private residence in the precinct. The nearest public train station is City Hall.

Capitol Singapore is a large and interesting mall. The mall is easily accessible via MRT ie., City Hall MRT. Several buses call at this mall as well. Despite being aestheically pleasing and very well connected (for transport), something is amiss as the mall seems to have low traffic. Capitol Singapore houses restaurants and eateries. It also has training centres, spas and businesses selling electrical appliances. Capitol Singapore consists of the new outdoor plaza, the arcade, the retail podium and the residential tower which are all connected. The view outside of Capitol Singapore is breathtaking and creates an excellent backdrop for stunning pictures. Capitol Singapore is Beautiful and Aesthetically pleasing. It is a great place for photo buffs. Outdoor sports activities available include trampoline jumping and jump boots. To eat, one can easily find MeePok & Nasi Lemak amongst a myriad of eating options. The aroma permeating from the shop that sells Nasi Lemak is enticing (& inviting).

There is now an underground linkway from city hall mrt to capitol and it is also linked to Adelphi. In the past it was necessary to walk on the ground level and cross roads, carry umbrella when it rains but now it’s not necessary. So great work for the underground linkway to cut through to these malls from mrt and back to mrt again.

Dome dining at Capitol Piazza, outdoor. This is a good concept as each have individual dome. We have been here twice. Its good especially during this pandemic as no one be sharing the dome. We bought food from Berthold to eat at Dome. A great dining experience.

Nice and beautiful new building structure.Strategically located and link by the Cityhall mrt station.There are few retail shops for you to go shopping and a big food court,cafes,bakeries shop,restaurants and pub too.Spacious walkway inside the mall.Very quiet and pleasant place for you to unwind with friends and family.

The car park entrance is searchable by Apple Maps. The spiral entrance links you directly to B3. Quite a clean car park. Fee is $2.45 for first hour on weekdays.

Dinner at Famous Treasure Seafood Restaurant which just has had its soft opening on end June. Try their second to none salted pepper flower crab and steamed fish, tasty and worth the trip there.

The new bread shop from Taiwan has gained popularity . The signature longan bread does not come cheap though despite its huge size. Nice ambience with its spacious layout .It has an open kitchen concept

Splendid visit and awesome food galore at the refreshed and sparklingly new retrofit to the ole Capitol mall. Haven't been here since my heyday in my youth so it was just a heartbeat of memories coming here again

I loved the Alvvays concert. Only thing bothering me is the seating. I sit at 2nd row and it bothers me how hard it is to watch the show from even at 2nd row. I am taller than the person in front and the person in front blocks my vision just with his head already. And he's got drinks with him that he puts on the edge of the dress circle. Which clearly blocks even more and what bothers me is when he leans forward and doesn't sit properly in front of me the security at the side does nothing as I was clearly visibly annoyed and struggling to watch the show though for most of the part I did and I was craning my neck to the side. What for have row 2 seats then? Do something with the security. Imply tighter rules to make someone like my enjoyment better.

Stopped in for a late night beverage and small snack on the way back to the hotel. Mrs Burgandy chose a mangoe cocktail and followed with an espresso Martini as mango too sweet. I settled for an Old fashioned cocktail and it was sublime. Not too pricey and great atmosphere. Recommend you go. Stay Classy

Great quiet place with nice ambience. Has been going there for quite sometime for my favourite nasi lemak. However, it was my first time visiting the nursing room with my baby. Was a bit disgusted by the cleanliness of the nursing room and the size. It was just able to fit the stroller, me and my husband. The moment diaper changing board was down, there is no space for nursing.

Big mall and spacious but due to lack of variety or interesting shops the mall is sadly pretty dead. Management team need to do a better job at finding better tenant that will provide shopping experience and entices customer to visit.

Recently visited to have a quick bite and the place is undergoing major renovations. The lunch crowd is lesser except for the food court in the basement during weekdays lunch time. Many of the retailers there seemed to have closed down and generally a very quiet mall.

A quiet mall with not much human traffic despite its central location. Most people pass by this place to access the underground MRT. The food court and basement shops see more human traffic but the upmarket retail outlets doesn’t seem to gather much customers. The BEST thing about this place is the clean and nice toilets!

The food court in basement was runs by republic group. Food are generally more expensive and quality is just average. The place is much quieter than the food court at raffles city. So it is an ideal place for those who want a nice quiet place for meeting.

Good place for all, also there is a pure vegetarian shop (nALAn) at B2. You also have an option to get Jain meal there, hope if you are planning to go marina Bay sands or gardens by the bay, I think this is a good option for getting quality food. very tasty and delicious

Posh shopping mall with beautiful spaces and washrooms but quite empty due to price point of boutiques. I drop by because of Marimekko but even now they're moving. On the bright side, this could be a nice quiet place to have a meal or a coffee at the German cafe or Fun Toast in the basement.

Capitol is simply amazing, it's like stepping into a mall in Genting to be honest! I really enjoy the coziness of it, the architecture is odd but curiously charming as well. There's always this hot air balloon filled with flowers, and I'm quite sure that Capitol Singapore is known for that as well! Other than that, the hotel next to it, Kempinsky, is really beautiful! It's tucked in a corner, an extremely elusive and quiet place. I'd recommend giving the hotel and the mall a visit. If you need recommendations for food at the Capitol, 15 Stamford is ravishingly amazing. Give it a try, I promise you won't regret it; though the price might be steeper than usual.

Interesting place. Nicely built around the old Capitol Theatre which has been converted into a posh eatery. Various upmarket shops and saloons. Integrated with apartments. Direct access to City Hall MRT. Even Food Republic there has an upmarket feel to it.

Great ambience!! Heritage building which was turned into a hotel, definitely cross way beyond my expectation. Staffs are all professional. Breakfast at 15 Stamford by Alvin Leung was unforgetable. The staffs, namely Mark and Rishi, paid attention to your request. Just that the entrance to the hotel by car will be abit confusing, you might miss the entrance driveway. Overall fantastic stay.

Most Singaporeans will have little reason to visit, other than to post from its Instagram worthy cafes and hotel. That said, the pricey but less common stores found here are worth a visit for no other reason than to support local businesses. Suggest you end your shopping day at Raffles City here amid a piece of Singapore's architectural heritage.

From city hall mrt station, exit via B or D to reach. There is a nice Punggol Nasir lemak stall. Worth to try coz the rice was cooked with thick coconut milk. Also, Nalan, indian vegetarian restaurant. At B2, there is an underground walkway all the way to the Adelphi and Funan which is really convenient.

Capitol has been given a facelift in recent years. The shops are quite interesting and different from the typical brand names you will find in shopping centers around Singapore.
