Reviews of Talad Thai Banana π

Takeaway mix and match consists of thai fried banana, sweet potato balls & thai yam chips ($7), was good! Sweet potato fritters was not ready else I'd have included in my order. Courteous staff, clean cooking area and ordering counter. No dining area though but that's ok for me.
Situated at the end of thai supermarket in aperia mall. The queue is always pretty long on the weekdays so advise to come during the weekends. We got the mixed favourite $6. The fried banana is sliced into thinner piece is crispy and nice but slightly oily. Sweet potato balls is addictive.ππ
Our favourite place to get snacks. Always very crowded after lunch on weekdays, today I went at 12.30pm and there was no queue. Love the mix bag or usually I will get the fried banana or sweet potato balls.
Needless to say they are one of the best seller for thai fried bananas and fried sweet potato, weekends definitely long queue and weekdays evening.
Always frying batch after batch in just adequate quantity to ensure its always still hot and crispy.
Friendly staff to always remind you not to tie the bag especially if it's just right out of the fryer to avoid moist which would make the items soagy.
I usually buy the other brand which originally at Golden Mile complex. Today we decided to queue up for this instead. We brought home to eat (bout half hr after buying). Banana and potato balls still crispy! One thing I noticed that's different from the other stall, the ones from Talad Thai are not oily! Usually the ones from the original stall, when I reached home, the paper bag already soaked in oil, this one is not at all! Imo, the banana fritters here is nicer and has a stronger aroma of sesame, however the sweet potato balls I tried today was a bit tough and more chewy. I will definitely buy again if there's no long Q
Definitely worth the wait! Have never tried Thai fried banana before and pleasantly surprised by this π Sweet potato balls and Yam chips were 10/10 too (itβs also very affordable) and the staffs were extremely kind and friendly, totally would visit again ππ»
Been supporting their fried banana, sweet potato and yam chips for many years already.
This is very good. Do enjoy them as soon as you buy them. It is still nice even when they have turned cold.
Bought some of each this time round and shared with my family members.
Love the banana and sweet potato . You can enjoy it every single bite! Quality is great! However the Thai Milk tea is always bitter I wonder why too .?
aroy mak mak deep fried street food. banana, yam, potato balls and sweet potato. no passport required. π
Very yummy! The banana batter wasnβt too thick, so it was good! The potato balls are a must try!!
All meatless, all vegetarian. Crispy and delicious Thai fried stuff, no wonder thereβs always a queue for them.
The Thai fried banana tastes different from our Goreng Pisang, but both are delicious in their own way.
I like to eat them instantly right after theyβre freshly fried, Aroi Maak. But they still taste good even when theyβre cold, guess their oil is fresh and of better quality. Enjoy, life is short.
2nd time to buy this stall's banana. But this time round, bought their mixed instead.
Better stick to the first time order - all bananas π
Finally had the chance to try the popular banana fritters. It was hot off the stove and not as oily as it looked. It was crispy, mildly sweet and satisfying. The batter and sesame garnish reminded me of the traditional butterfly buns. My only issue was the burnt pieces that was left in the frying oil and then transferred to my banana fritters. These black inedible pieces made each bite less than good. However I would still recommend for people to give it a try and experience its savoury sweet flavour.
Good! $4 for a decent bag of fried bananas, or $6 for a mix of bananas, yam and sweet potato balls. Queue can get quite long during peak hours, and finally managed to try it during off peak (8+pm on a Saturday) and queued for about 15-20 mins.
We had a mix and in order, these were my most to least favorite - sweet potato ball, banana fritter then yam. The batter for the yam was abit too much. Good that they serve them pipping hot.
Very slow, need to wait 1 hour. This one not the one from golden mile.
Aug 22. Be mentally prepared that queue is gonna be longgg but so worth it. Fried banana and sweet potato balls are must try! Will return again just for this
Very long queue everytime, they even have to put up a signboard to tell customers to be patient
Queue is a bit long but definitely worth the wait! Nicely battered and fried in beautiful golden brown!
Not usually a fan of fried food but I absolutely love their snacks!!
This is a good substitution if you miss fried bananas in Thailand.
Meaty banana and a super crunchy crust, heavenly.
Good!!
