Excellent workmanship from Sally! Sent my backpack to her to repair the strap with torn seams. I paid $60 which i think is reasonable for the workmanship provided. - The repair is solid and neat, appreciate her effort in matching the original material of my bag.

I sent my bag all the way from another part of Singapore to Sally cos my dog chewed my bag’s buckle and straps. Sally did a wonderful job in replacing the chewed side and she tried to help me save ten bucks because she said the other side was quite well preserved. Honestly if she had just charged me, I wouldn’t hv known too cos I don’t sew. 5 stars for her service and honesty.

After having read numerous positive reviews, I brought my 2 pair of pants to repair the zips. But Sally is very nice to tell me that the zips are still in good condition, just the tear over the zips area needed to use a sewing machine to fix it. The price is reasonable as well.

Super fast repair of a worn-out canvas on the base of my bag. It was a 2 inch long strip of worn out fabric, hanging on my a few threads. Repair was $45, at first I thought expensive. Sally superstar! What you see is what you get- she’s friendly, suggests ideas, & great at what she does. I brought a skirt down to open up a backslit & she took the initiative to patch an iron-burn hole at no extra charge. In the photo, she’s holding up my >10-year-old designer silk dress with tiny tears along the hem- she stitched on a thin strip of delicate fabric to prevent further damage & im sure I can wear it for the next 10 years! She saved my beloved denim shorts from more tears, with a colourful funky inside-patch, I love it. After hearing much about Sally's famous workmanship, my wife and I brought 17 pieces of dresses and clothes, and a leather bag for her at Ghim moh market to alter within a span of 2 weeks, and they were all done perfectly. Sally is really professional and confident with her craft, she also takes pride in her ability to accommodate our requests no matter how small or big they were. She's also friendly and chatty no matter how busy she always looks. We 100% would not hesitate to recommend Sally to anyone! Keep up the good work.

Reason being was that I put my jacket in the washing machine and it came out completely disheveled. All the waterproof lining in the hood area has completely come off and both of the zippers of the hand pockets too came off. Came in to sally's alteration with my arcteryx jacket that was passed down to me from my father. Couldnt find any other tailor that was as confident and more experienced in her field. Very friendly and cheerful individual who talks you through about how she'll go about fixing/ salvaging your damaged goods and promises that she'll try her best. Long story short, she delivered as promised and I was surprised because the jacket was in a really bad state when i brought it in. 10/10 OVERALL SERVICE, RECOMMENDED AND 1 OF THE BEST!!!!

Sally is a very experienced seamstress. She is meticulous in her sewing. When I showed her my dress that needs alteration to suit my arm and chest, she was able to provide a quick assessment of how she would do it. To ensure high quality, she is dedicated to steps of alteration that requires using tracing paper to shape its before and after amendment, ironing the inner layers to straighten before folding to sew to measurement. The handiwork included in the hours she works behind the scene is rare. I appreciate her craftsmanship.

Sally is a honest tailor who is skilled in her craft. Her shop is well recognized by a messy door front and shelves filled with customer's items. Even though she was featured in news articles and a must-go-to by local celebrities/mediacorp, Sally sits in a small humble stall at ghim moh market. I was there to repair a old broken winter jacket. Sally have explained to me the pros and cons of the repair and if the repair would make money sense. She could have easily just taken the deal but she did not. Over decades of experience in it's craft and a small fraction to pay, is definitely a gem to keep.

I was quite impressed by the numerous positive review and decided to give it a try. Reached out to Sally via WhatsApp and she was prompt and friendly with her responses. Met her in person at her shop and she was able to clearly explain how she will go about repairing my sling bag (replacing the PVC with leather) and gave me a reasonable price. She was able to complete the repair within a few days and I'm pleased with the repair works done! It look and feel better than original! Good workmanship and am sure the sling bag will be able to last for more years to come. Thumbs up!

My work bag zipper was damaged and I found out about Sally's services via online search. Went down to her shop and she explained to me that she will try to get the zipper replaced. If it doesn't work out, there will be a labour fee of $5. If all goes well, it will be $40. So I waited for about 2 weeks and then I checked back with her. I was so happy to hear from her that the zipper could be replaced. So I made an appointment and went down to retrieve it. It was nicely done and good quality zipper was used. I thought its worth the money because my bag was less than a year old. Thank you Sally!

Highly recommend her services to everyone! I had to do an alteration for a bridesmaid dress which was extremely ill fitting. I was not too sure if there was any hope to make it fit to help me feel confident wearing it for my friend's wedding. The tailor understood my need for a professional job, to patch up my jeans and that too, quickly! All these for less than a quarter of the price compared to other tailors with heavy advertisements based in the city, on Google search claiming that their workmanship are different in terms of quality. Mine was a badly torn jeans and for $20 I got the same quality as what I would’ve got at Other jeans fixing or patching Tailor shops. It pays to explore and I found a diamond. I found Sally on Google as I was searching for alteration services near my place and she's awesome. I bought a dress for my PWS that is 2 sizes too large and she managed to alter it down to fit me plus the alteration looks amazing. The dress isn't easy to work with as it has 3 layers with lace on the outside. Sally was super friendly throughout the whole process and I can't wait to show her the photos from the PWS!

Have to give Sally 5 stars because after the first time I bring my clothes here for alteration, I don't go anywhere anymore! Very conveniently for me to get here since I stay just 2 MRT stations away. Parking available (there's one right beside the market and another 1 block away) tho can be a challenge on weekends. Sally is very friendly - always chatty and greets every customer with a wide smile; highly knowledgeable, extremely experienced and most importantly, her prices are super competitive and reasonable! Give her anything and she is able to mend/repair/alter - I once brought her a pair of pants which I burnt a hole with my iron and she did a fantastic job in patching it up :D As she is the only one manning the shop, do expect to wait if there are customers before you. Her shop is closed on Sundays. Small changing space available at a corner. She accepts cash and E-payment.

It is actually common to have to modify clothes when buying them, but for those of us who move to a foreign country, it is an experience in our lives that challenges us to change our living habits. Later, I gradually discovered that every bar in Singapore has stalls for clothing alterations, which is very convenient. It seems that even if you change your living environment, you don’t have to worry about possible regrets after spending. Just inform your needs, bring the receipt, and agree on a number of days to pick it up. So let’s keep buying, buying, buying~~ Clothes that are altered just right can satisfy our impulse to buy. Sally did a great job with the transformation and was very kind, so she became the backbone of fashion transformation again. Posting a photo of the modified thermal pants ~ they will keep me warm when I go to Norway this year.

I modified the new ones I bought (you have to wash them beforehand to let them shrink properly). I like the length of Paul Smith jeans, but I specifically asked Sally, who has an amiable attitude, to imitate the original trousers hem sewing method as much as possible. The result is very satisfactory. Since the handwork made me feel at ease, I took another pair of brand-name Armani Jeans underwear and asked her to modify them. Brought my favorite Paul Smith new jeans (pre-wash once to let it shrink a little naturally) for length alteration, but told friendly Sally that I would like to retain the original cuff look as close as possible, very happy with Sally's fine workmanship & the result. Brought another AJ casual Chinos for her alteration again after that. Thank you Sally.
