15-Day Italy (Amalfi, Siena, Cortina & Lake Como) 1. Itinerary Ergo Travel worked with us to provide the most enjoyable and comprehensive itinerary for our trip (based on the towns that we like to visit). They provide detailed information on food / restaurants, places of interest, shopping, etc. 2. Hotels The hotels booked for our trip were centrally located within easy reach of sights, shopping and restaurants. The rooms were clean, cozy with full amenities including coffee / tea making facilities. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Full buffet breakfast with a good spread was provided, 3. Guides and Drivers These drivers and guides hired are experienced locally and are able to bring us to enjoy the delicious local food, explain clearly the history of each town, help us locate the restaurant of our choice, recommend the local food produce and products to buy. 4. Transportation The cars arranged for us were comfortable and sufficient for 7 passengers as well as luggage and shopping. 5. Restaurants The restaurants booked for our meals were impressive with delicious food, friendly waiting staff and good ambience. Overall, we are pleased with the arrangements and service from Ergo Travel. They were quick to follow up on our request during the trip e.g. we asked for a bigger car to transfer all of us as well as our increased number of luggage from Cortina to Lake Como and a sprinter cargo van was arranged. We will definitely recommend Ergo Travel to all who is keen to visit Italy.

This post is long overdue. I wish to extend my gratitude to Ergo: Travel for their amazing support, when my Company had a big project at GASTECH Milan in 2022. Ergo: Travel played an important role to help arrange all our airport transfers. We had different groups coming in from Singapore and Taiwan at different timings etc., but with careful planning by Ergo: Travel, no one missed any transfers. Ergo:Travel was also very kind to refer a local Milanese to help me navigate the city since it was my 1st time. Our local guide was kind, patient and knowledgeable. One night during our stay, my crew and I (total 45 of us) had to go to a restaurant and there was no way to arrange 12 taxis at the same time. I texted Ergo: Travel the day before, and magically, they managed to secure a big bus to ferry us to and from the restaurant, despite the short notice! On our last day in Milan, Ergo:Travel also helped to arrange a big bus to take all 45 of us to the airport! The ride was a breeze and very comfortable. We are very thankful to Ergo:Travel! Even though this was a a very small job, they didn't hesitate to help! The immense knowledge of Italy + Ergo: Travel's owner fluency in Italian, have made everything so convenient and easy for my group. We also hope to join Ergo: Travel tours soon.

My husband and I travelled to Piedmont in Oct 2022 with Ergo Travel. It was an incredible trip. We visited many great sites in Piedmont. We had many fantastic meals in authentic trattorias which were provided as part of the package. The acommodation provided was very good. We liked that the schedule was not too packed and we didn't have to wake up at an early hour unlike other tour agencies. Particular highlights were a visit to the Alba Winter Truffle Fair and the stay in the Asti wine region. We were so impressed with Eu Chai and Ergo Travel that we have booked a trip to Venato region in Oct 2023. We highly recommend going with Ergo Travel for people who want to visit Italy.

What a great holiday and such happy memories of our trip to the Piedmont region in Italy in August 2017! We were never fans holidaying with tour groups but this one was so different. The itinerary had a good balance of important places of interest with a mix of off-the-beaten track gems that only local would know of. There was so much to engage the senses. We loved the beauty of the islands and gardens on Lake Maggiore as well as the tranquility of the monastery in Orta San Giulio. We also enjoyed amazing food including dishes served by some who have been at their craft for a lifetime - pasta made by the 90-year old nonna or the homebrewed grappa up in the mountains. And for those who love truffles, the truffle fair in Alba is a must! On top of all these, we were blessed to have Eu Chai as our guide. He is very friendly and knowledgeable guide. It felt like a holiday with the extended family (but without the bickering!) 😊

Ergo's Magnificent Italy Tour Review (29/11/2024-15/12/2024) I recently returned from Ergo's Magnificent Italy tour, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience! As a first-time visitor to Italy, this tour exceeded my expectations in many ways. The itinerary was well-planned, covering major tourist attractions like Rome, Florence, Pisa, Venice, and Milan, as well as smaller towns rich in history and culture, such as Assisi, Siena, San Gimignano, and Bologna. The tour also included a breathtaking mountain experience in Cortina, nestled in the stunning Dolomites. One of the highlights of this tour was the relaxed pace, with a minimum of two days spent at each hotel location. This greatly reduced the hassle of packing and unpacking luggage daily. Our tour guide, Eu Chai, was excellent in introducing us to local Italian restaurants, where we savored delicious local cuisine that we might have otherwise missed. However, there were two areas that could be improved upon. Firstly, a lunch in Rome was supposed to be provided but was changed at the last minute, leaving many of us surprised and without lunch. Secondly, on the last day in Milan, the tour package included a whole-day train ticket, but only a one-way ticket was provided, which felt a bit shortchanged. Despite these minor hiccups, the overall experience was excellent. Our tour group members got along wonderfully, and Eu Chai's efforts to tie up loose ends were much appreciated. In conclusion, I highly recommend Ergo's Magnificent Italy tour to anyone looking for a comprehensive and enjoyable Italian experience.
