Reviews of Shan China Tours
H.My wife and I recently traveled to Yunnan (Kunming, Dali, and Lijiang) with ShanChinaTours, and it was an amazing experience. The private tour was perfectly planned, allowing us to truly relax and enjoy our time away.
The food was excellent, and the boutique hotels were incredibly well-chosen—beautiful locations and top-notch comfort. Lijiang was the highlight for us, with its absolutely stunning scenery. Both Dali and Lijiang are surrounded by mountains and lakes, offering incredible hiking opportunities, which were perfect for someone like me who loves nature.
Our tour guide was fantastic—fluent in English, very knowledgeable, and great at adjusting the pace to match our preferences. We learned so much from him and appreciated his flexibility.
Overall, this was a super enjoyable trip. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore Yunnan in comfort and style. 5 stars!

Lianne was attentive and so easy to communicate with when planning for the trip, and the accommodation selection was impeccable - beautiful, luxurious properties that elevated the travel experience. The guide was also professional and fun - he did his best to work around the poor weather / fog and rain so I could see the sights on the mountains as much as possible, and adjusted the pace and trails based on my preferences. Looking forward to exploring more parts of China with Shan!

C. P.Just came back from fantastic trip to Zhangjiajie & neighbouring quaint towns & natural sights like the Red Earth Stone Forest. Itinerary was very well planned & executed superbly. Will only go to China on curated tours with Shan Travels & have done Guilin & Lijiang tours with them before which whetted my appetite for more. All arrangements are customised to my requirements with comfortable transport logistics, VIP passes to sights & shows & lovely accommodation in mainly boutique hotels avoiding all the crowds & queues. Definitely must try out curated Shan Travel tours as you get to see the best of China without wasting time & energy trying to navigate China on your own especially if you are only conversant in English. Well worth every cent as they research local websites to curate tours so one can visit & dine where the locals (not tourists) rate highly. Bravo Shan Travels! You have aced it again!
