I spent an amazing 7 days cycling from Seoul to Busan being expertly led by Alvin (owner and tour leader) and wonderfully supported by his local partner, Harry. The trip was excellently planned and paced, with cafe stops and bathroom breaks at regular intervals, and pitched at the right level of difficulty - participants of all cycling abilities can and will enjoy themselves. Most of the cycling was done on beautifully paved cycling paths that took us through the beautiful Korean countryside. I cannot recommend SCT and their 4 Rivers (Seoul to Busan) tour enough!

The most amazing bike trip we've done, and we have done many with local US companies, so I was a bit skeptical as to what to expect. My wife an I could not have asked for a better experience and trip, bar none!! The 4 Rivers bike tour is truly a world class ride. The investment the Country of Korea and it's tourism board has done is simply amazing in building this path out. Shangila tours put the icing on the cake. Alvin and crew (Harry) could not do enough for us to make this a most memorable trip of a lifetime. Their guidance, support and concerns for our safety were their priorities. The local places they chose to eat truly made us appreciate the local culture and the hotels where we stayed were all top notch. If I could give 10 stars, they deserve it. Highly, highly recommend!!!!

Me and my husband joined SCT’s Jeju Round Island bike ride recently and will happily give the tour a 5 star rating, the tour was well planned (this was their 5th Jeju bike tour so well experienced with Jeju island). Good pace with reasonable daily cycling distance allowing time to explore the towns/cities after daily rides with beautiful coffee stops during the ride. The accomodations were great, food was superb and well varied (fresh variety seafood, famous Jeju black pork). We had great support with 3 vehicles (mechanic support van, car carrying luggages and another daily support car that doubled as a cheerleader for the cycling group!). Above all, Alvin is a great tour/ride leader, always briefing us about the daily rides, road and weather conditions and always keeping an eye out for all the riders with the help of his 2 other team cyclists (thank you Maeve and Choo!). We would highly recommend SCT bike tours and look forward to joining Alvin and his team on future bike tours.

Approached Alvin from SCT to organise a Desaru Trip exclusively for our cycling group and he took care of everything. During the rides, he rode with us and it was clear he knew the routes well which gave us the confidence of being safe although we also had a support vehicle. The accommodation and dinner selected was well thought of in terms of convenience and also standard. I won’t hesitate to recommend SCT to others if they want a hassle free overseas ride for an external partner to do the heavy lifting plus leading on the bike ride.

Alvin’s itinerary was carefully thought through and catered to all levels of riders. We are just foldie bike weekend riders, it’s a little tough in beginning but the effort were worthwhile, the well planned route cover many scenic spots within mid Hokkaido.

Better late than never! Had a wonderful experience with Alvin and SCT on a cycling trip to Desaru a few months back, logistics went super smooth and the support vehicle was more than well stocked with ice cold drinks, bananas etc. Alvin was also very flexible with the program and determined the best route given bad weather on the second day so all of us could get the most out of the day. Alvin himself is an experienced cyclist who was more than willing to share his experience and even pull us on certain stretches along the way 😂 Highly recommend if you want to have a everything taken care of, stress free cycling holiday.

Many thanks to Alvin, he is such a friendly, caring and professional guide that leads us to a cycling journey fill with fun and laughter, beautiful sceneries with sunrise/sunset. Alvin ensures we ride safely, keep to the pace, in time for lunch to fill our stomach with sumptuous food, coffee breaks to rest and chit chats. Many thanks to the support team (Jianming, Xiao Liang, Mechanics) and the sweeper Oppa Cho too for following us throughout the journey to accommodate our needs. This trip I made many new friends that are liked minded and fun. We are talking about coming trips to Hokkaido and Switzerland... Highly and truly recommend SCT for cycling tour 😍
